The song is fine..c'mon we have had mediocre songs like sheela ki jawani and radha on the dance flr becoming chartbusters..the movie is doing well so the song will also be a chartbuster..but balam pichkari and kabira are better songs than Ghagra!

The song was atrocious, completely forgetable. Madhuri should NOT have done this The lyrics, music, her dress, choreography were all poor. It seems ALL the efforts went to making Badtameez Dil a super hit song. The ghagra does not suit Madhuri and her face is showing her age, the movements just dont compliment her age. Ranbir looks young in front of her and their dance together, it makes it harsher on Madhuri.

The directors should have thought about this. Anyway Madhuri has done commendable work and it just doesnt seem right that she does such mediocre stuff now. She was fabulous in "Mar Dala" and "Dola re", she should stick to that.

Suroj Khan should have been specially hired for Madhuri's song due to their 100% successful career combo.
Also the dresses she wore in the song looked so tacky, the setting was un appealing, the lyrics where ranbir says "tu dhall gayi shaam ki tarha dhall gayi" (ur youth became lost like evening) feels so harsh for such a dignified lady... also via-gra crap does not suits that traditional kinda song.
Most importantly a CRUDE prostitute just before the song made even more bitter taste in mouth as Madhuri has been portrayed the same...
it should have been dignified as per Madhuri's image.
