Akshay takes Aarav to Disneyworld...

Hand in hand: Akshay with son Aarav

Akshay Kumar is a happy man, and he wants to share his happiness with his son Aarav. The actor who has been approached by Aditya Chopra to act in a Yashraj film after 10 years seems to be delighted with the fact. Though he is tight-lipped about this new development, he is happy with the box-office result of his film Bhagam Bhag. "The film got a very good opening all over India and I think that was a gift from Santa Claus to me. So I thought of giving Aarav a surprise gift. He always wanted to visit Disney, so this time I thought of taking him to Disneyworld," says Akshay from Florida. The two owere spotted at the Magic Kingdom.

"Akshay prefers to spend Christmas and New Year's with his family, and this year he had reason to rejoice," says a close friend. Aarav is very fond of Santa Claus and last year Akshay dressed up like Santa for Aarav on Christmas Eve. This year, he has dressed up like Santa for Vipul Shah's film Namastey London. "Akshay is very sporting. We thought of starting our promotion during the Christmas, so we thought of this idea of making him sing Jingle Bell in Punjabi," says director Vipul Shah. It has been a happening year for Akshay Kumar, from signing a multi-crore deal with Adlabs and then walking out of the deal after Hrithik Roshan was signed for a higher remuneration.

Akshay is also happy that for the first time he was not linked with his co-actor. "I have maximum scenes with Govinda. I guess that was why I was spared from any link-up," he says jokingly. Though the film belongs to Akshay Kumar, the actor feels that Govinda has done a remarkable job. "I think Govinda is fantastic and hopefully he won't accuse me of chopping his role," he adds with a laugh.

...while Twinkle throws surprise party for hubby

Twinkle Khanna along with three of his close friends gave Akshay a surprise at a restaurant in New York when she threw a party for him there after watching Bhagam Bhag.

A source informs, "Three of Akshay's friends saw the film in a theatre in New York and loved the film and they wanted to celebrate it with Akshay. So, one of them called Twinkle and they planned a surprise dinner party for Akshay. Twinkle then brought Akshay at the said place and he was surprised to see his friends cheering for him. Bhagam Bhag has broken all records in terms of the number of prints released. In Bombay and Thane itself, the film has been released with a record 282 prints. Akshay had seen the film with his family before flying off to New York and he is pretty happy with the feedback the film is getting."

The source finally adds, "After Phir Hera Pheri, this is the second success for Akshay this year and he truly is the master of entertainment."

Thanks for the article.

There is a Disney World in Orlando, Florida and there is also one in Anaheim, California.

The article clearly says that Akshay went to the one in Florida - which I think is bigger than the one in California.

I miss the 4 seasons so bad.. 😭 😭
