Top 5: Worst Marketed films of 2013

- 0
How promotions can tank a good looking, potential film cannot be exemplified in better ways than its BO collection. Here's listing the top 5 worst marketed films of 2013, first half...
1. Ishkq In Paris
After much hardship and struggle, when Preity Zinta's film, Ishkq In Paris was all ready for release, what it lacked was some good marketing and promotions. The hurried bit of interviews, much based on IPL and no promotional activities of the film around the lead hero made it a skeptical release. Since the music was launched six months back, that too failed to make its mark.
2. Aurangzeb
Arjun Kapoor in a double role with the likes of Prithviraj, Rishi Kapoor and Jackie Shroff missed the target due to poor publicity of the film. Along with an IPL release, the film missed the buzz around its release. Otherwise, with the descent execution, Aurangzeb was slated for a better show.
3. Himmatwala
Himmatwala started off well with the buzz ever since it was announced. The remake of the 1980's hit and pairing of Ajay Devgn with Tamannah was much in news. But the bad mouthing and the arrogant statements passed by director Sajid Khan only resulted in his own loss.
4. The Attacks of 26/11
The Attacks of 26/11 can easily be placed as one of Ram Gopal Verma's top film, that too after delivering many flops and attrocius films. Apart from reminiscing the tragic attacks in Mumbai, this tear jerker would've done exceptionally well had it got its due marketing and promotions.
5. Table No. 21
Table No. 21, that was released in the early part of the year was over shadowed by promotions of Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola and Inkaar. This film sure deserved some promotion to get its BO dues.
