Shahrukh Khan's Injury Postpones CHENNAI EXPRESS Promo Launch Event To 13th June

Shah Rukh Khan's shoulder injury which recently had him hospitalised where he underwent a surgery has delayed the promotional plan of his upcoming film "Chennai Express".

According to sources, UTV was planning an elaborate gig on June 8 to launch the first look of the film, but SRK's painful shoulder has come in the way. Apparently, SRK was supposed to stay in the hospital for much longer, but not the one to compromise on the marketing of his films - even if that comes at the cost of his health, the actor requested for an early discharge. But that did not really help the healing process, and the actor has been advised complete bedrest at least for another week.

A source close to SRK said: "He has been advised complete rest but is itching to get back to work." He even has difficulty adjusting positions while sleeping. The makers have now pushed the event to a later date, mostly June 13.

This i was also shocked to see just now... but i guess they are referring to a big movie of SRK that too of Masala genre coming after long time (as Masala genre is in now)...

This official twitter/fb handlers of every movie are idiots, they should hire fans 2 do this work... they will promote in much better way.

It is still a confusion as Official Twitter handle is referring to PROMO LAUNCH EVENT or main promo...

They should release the Trailer on NET as planned on 5 or 6, Theatrical MUST come with YPD2, as already OUATIMA trailer is with YJHD floating...

If they launch actually everywhere Trailer on Jun 13, then it will be too late as it won't be attached with YPD2 prints... but now CE team should not back out from JUNE 13. Before or after, now trailer should land by June 13... further delay will harm the hype of movie.

Acting like it's already a big hit backfires more often than not...I know SRK is confident about the film, but still =/ Haha, yeah sometimes fans are better. The Red Chillies people handling this seem dumb. 😕

Sometimes big star doesn't bother what is publishing under his movie's promotional pages on fb/twitter, coz they themselves don't do it... They only know ke haan, yeh banda ji promotion ka kaam karta hai, so stars will hire that person, or makers hire those person n will ask them 2 promote.

Usually, Big Banners have their own employees, like u said Red Chillies employees are doing it... so SRK is concern with who do this kind of job, hire him, pay him, let him do his/her job...

Same with all big stars... while their makers do promotion, they ask the best to come n give service... like Arbaaz n team was promoting Dabangg 2 on FB/Twitter...

Whoever does all these promotions on FB/Twitter, is doing it as a JOB, he doesn't promote it in a way ke it should give Positive feel from the audiene point for view whom all this promotion will be served upon.

How does a fan helps, because he has seen the criticism, when audience reacts on promotions, so he will guide them in control fashion as this is not liked n this should be floated like this.
