sajid replaces Jacqueline with Esha

On May 25,Mumbai Mirror had reported that Sajid Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez have parted ways.A week later,the fallout has had its first collateral damage.The 28-year-old Sri Lankan beauty has been replaced with the Raaz 3 actress,Esha Gupta in Sajids upcoming film.The film is tentatively titled Humshakal and stars Saif Ali khan and RiteshDeshmukh in the male leads.There have been unconfirmed reports that the film is inspired by the 1982 rib-tickler Angoor.

Rubbing salt on Jacqueline's sore wounds,Sajid has wasted no time in signing up his Himmatwala heroine Tamanna for the other female lead.Actually,there are three girls in the film.The third one will be finalised soon, a source close to the development said.

Explaining what led to Jacqueline's ouster from the film,the source said,Sajid and Jacqueline were not keen on working together anymore.They may work in future on some other film.While they may have parted amicably,its difficult to have a good working relationship so soon.

Sajid had even met Jacqueline's parents in October last year and they were pretty close to getting married.

There is perhaps another reason why Jacqueline lost out on the role,which till recently had been earmarked for her.According to reports the actress didn't share a good camaraderie with Ritesh.

As for Esha,apparently Sajid was impressed with her talent which was on display in Jannat 2,Raaz 3 and Chakravyuh.That helped the scales to tilt in her favour.

However,this development should not be a setback for Jaqueline,who will be seen with Salman Khan in Kick. When contacted,both Esha and Sajid chose not to comment on the story.
