Main bhi lata mangeshkar: Amrita Rao If you've enjoyed Aamir Khan's Aati kya Khandala or Sanjay Dutt's Yeh hai meri kahani, here is another aspiring singer's tunes to tune into. Amrita Rao too wants to lend her voice to songs. The formally trained actress is tempted to hit the recording studio not only for dubbing, but humming a few tunes too. She says, "I've trained in classical music for a few years. Unfortunately, acting happened to me before I could impress people with my vocal chords!" Case for plagiarism Talking about her taste in music, the actress informs that rock groups or popstars abroad have never moved her. She takes great interest in Bollywood sound tracks. "Right from my childhood, I have been fond of film music. I'm a complete Bollywood junkie and I take no pride in throwing names of popular English bands or pop divas like Shakira or Beyonce," she says. Nevertheless, the actress acknowledges the widespread plagiarism among music directors here. "Our music directors maybe stealing tunes from artistes across the globe, but when they dish out their concoction it sounds better than the original sound track," she argues. She seeks inspiration from Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt when it comes to taking to the microphone. "It's fantastic to see these guys singing with such lan. As for me, I need to concentrate on my histrionic skills and take up singing when I've already made my mark." The actress is presently shooting for E. Niwas's My Name is Anthony Gonsalves. She plays a bubbly Catholic gal, who is an assistant director with a noted filmmaker. "It's a contemporary film. There're lot of film shoots happening inside the film, which is quite exciting," she adds.

aah now i get it why singers like Sonu Nigam are taking voluntary retirement. HR karne gaya acting, woh dekhke the actrresses got so inspired to get out of acting ki they have now taken up singing...ab in actor actresses ke gaana sunkey, Sonu is so overwhelmed ki he decided to go on exile.... ..I am so sure very soon Priyanka chopra will also record ...anything for a cause...😃

situations like these make me miss kishore da even more and may be ill let a tear or two flow out of frustration that he is no longer among us unworthy ppl...and now sonu leaving too😭
