i had promised to complete chapter 4.so here it is.all the previous parts that had been pmed to you is posted in the thread.

Chapter 4 (complete)

We came out of the princi's office. He was walking behind me.

"what's your punishment?" jeevika asked worried.

"She'll have to say yes to Me." he grinned. Really!! Drop this act already. I ignored him.

"No punishment. He let us off the hook this time." I sighed. I'm really tired from all this. I want to go home.

"That's great. Let's go."jeevi linked her arms with mine and we turned to leave.

"jeevika…" we heard him calling jeevi so we turned back." could you please leave us alone for a while? He flashed his heart-rate-spiking smile.

"shh…sure…" jeevi got nervous. What's with that smile? It seems to have an effect on every girl.

"Manvi…I'll see you tomorrow." she turned towards me and winked. And before I could say anything she was gone.

What the hell was that???!!!i now officially hate her. How will I stand him???Last time he wanted to talk to me he called me a monster. Who knows if he chooses to call me a 'dementor' this time?

"Manvi" he snapped me out of my thoughts. "Are you nervous to be alone with me? Don't worry I'm not gonna do anything unethical. "Again that goofy smirk.

"I'm not scared of you."

"That I know. I've seen the demo."

"Neither am I affected by your charms."

"Well…I've a little doubt on that part." That arrogant b*st**d !!

"Why don't you leave me alone? I don't like you and you don't like me. Then why are you doing this to me. What have I done?" I said exasperated. Then it dawned upon me." Wait….are you trying to get back at me for what I've done two days back?" surely that's what he's trying to do. "look, I've already said sorry for that. That was just a dare I was given. I didn't mean what I said. I've even talked to Maya about that. She's cool with it. You don't need to worry 'bout your relationship with her. I.…."his finger was on my lips.

"shhh……don't you think you talk way too much when you're nervous? "My eyes went wide. How does he do that? Am I that easy to read??

"You're too easy to read." he had an expression of bewilderment on his face. Shit!!!Can he read my mind??

"No, I can't….stop giving that shocked expression." again he answered my thoughts. This is spooky!!!!

The ring of my cell broke the trance and I realized his finger was still on my lips. I took a step back and answered the call.it was my mom inquiring my whereabouts.

"Yes mom I'm coming home. Don't get stressed. I'm not a kid." my mom. Always keeps on worrying about me. I need to remind her constantly that I'm a grown up and can take care of myself.

I cut the call and look up. He was nowhere to be seen. Strange!!!

"Mom I'm home!!!"I announced from the foyer and darted to my room to freshen up. Took a long shower and came to the dining hall. I'm famished. Because of that idiot I couldn't even finish my ice-cream.

Uff!!!!Why am I even thinking of him?

"Mom!!! I'm hungry."

"Mom's not at home yet. Help yourself." My super nerdy kid brother Abir announced from the TV room.

I got up from the chair and headed towards the kitchen to hunt down something edible. Found some macaroni and cheese. This will do for now. I took the bowl and went to the TV room.

Hahaha….Mom's not here.so no one to scold me for eating in the TV room.

"'M' what are u doing? Go to the dining hall and finish your meal." Oops… How did I forget about this brat?

"Shut up mama's boy. Don't try to sound like her. Doesn't suit you. Give me the remote and go to your room. Enough of watching TV."

"'M' this is not fair. ManU vs. Barca match is on." He whined.

"Don't try to fool me. You've watched it live last night. You don't have to watch the repeat. Just give me the remote."

"No freaking way!!!!" he clutched the remote as if his life was depending on it.

"'A'!!!Give it to me." And the 'tug of war' with the poor remote started.

"What the hell is going on here?" We turned at the entrance and found mom standing with hands on her hips.

"MOM!!!" I went to her and hugged her tight.

"Don't you 'MOM' me. You forget about me as soon as you're out of the house. Do you know how worried I got today?"Ohho….she's angry.

"Chill mom. I'm a bi…g girl. I can take care of myself." I grinned while pulling her cheeks. My mom looks so adorable when she pouts.

"That I can see. What took you so long today? You didn't have your lunch, did you?" She furrowed her brows. How come mom always knows everything?

"Mom look she brought this in the TV room." Abir showed the bowl to mom. Damn it A!!!

"Mannu how many times have I told you…" there it goes again.

"…not to dine in the TV room." Abir said in unison with mom.

"She won't get it mom. She's stupid." 'A' said and stuck his tongue out at me.

"You jerk!!!"I started chasing him."You're dead meat now."

"Mom… Mom …save me from her." that jerk said dramatically and stood behind mom.

"Manvi stop!!!Enough!!!" mom held my arm and stopped me from my track.

I brought the bowl to dining table and started eating grumpily. These two are always on the same side. Nobody loves me.

"Mannu, won't you tell me why you got late today?" Mom said while detangling my wet hair with her fingers. This is bliss.

"Mom let's not talk about it." I don't wanna worsen my already foul mood.

I started eating at double speed.

"Hey,I'm home." Dad's home!!!

I stopped eating and ran into his arms.

"Someone had a bad day." See dad knows me so well.

"I hate that bloody idiot" I mumbled.

"Hey what happened? Don't get us worried." he said while making me sit on the couch in the living area.

"Dad…."and I blurted out everything that had happened in the college. And as I had expected dad burst out in laughter.

"You did what?" he just couldn't stop laughing.

"'M' are you serious??You poured ice-cream on his head??See dad I've told you before she's a gone case. But 'M' he must be really special no? You sacrificed your ice-cream for…. no no no…on him." Abir managed to say in between his hysterical laughter.

"Poor boy!!! mannu you shouldn't have done that." Mom is all sympathetic towards that moron.

What's wrong with everybody??

"I hate you guys." I practically pouted.

"Don't get angry doll.hey….do u want me to intervene? Should I come to your college?" my dad is the bestest.

"No need of that. I can handle him myself."

"You sure you can handle him?"

"Yes dad. I'm manvi remember." I grinned and hugged his arm. "Thanks dad. You're the only sane person I have in my life."

"Daddy's girl" Abir said in a low voice only to earn a smack on his head from me.

"My doll had a bad day. We're eating out. Everyone!!!Get ready." dad said pushing me and A.

"'M'….why don't you have a bad day every day?"Abir whispered and then ran for his life.

I chose to remain quiet in the journey while the three kept on laughing remembering what I did. I made a quick exit as soon as the car had stopped.

I walked ahead of everyone.

Out of frustration of course!!!I shouldn't have told them anything in the first place. Now I'm ha ha funny.

"'M' can I ask u something?" 'A' was by my side.

"Shoot."

"What's his name?"

"Virat." I said in a low voice absent-minded.

"How did you know about whom I was asking?"

"Do you want to die?" How not to know? He's my brother. I ought to know what goes on in his stupid brain.

"Nope" and he head back to mom and dad.

I entered the restaurant and chose a table for the four for us.

I looked at the entrance and guess what? HE WAS THERE!!!!!

He was with his parents I guess. He looked all grumpy. He was forced to come.

How do I know??Well… from the look of his face…anyone can tell.

His parents were talking to mine.

So they know each other from before.

They introduced virat and abir to each other and then they all turned towards me.

Virat's eyes met mine. His expressions changed from shock to amusement to confusion all too quickly.

I hate these fleeting expressions!!!I can't read them.

They came to me and dad was introducing me to them.

"This is…."

"Manvi. We're in the same class. We know each other"virat said.his grumpy mood is back.

I greeted his parents and we all sat together in a bigger table.

Abir sat between me n virat.

"'M' he's 'HIM', right?"abir asked me in a low voice during our dinner and I choked on my food.

GOD…. this nerd. He had figured it out.

I kept mum and resumed eating.

Abir got all too friendly with Virat.

"dad we're done.you guys finish your dinner.we'll be at the lounge."abir said dragging virat with him.

"'M' you can come too."

I was confused. Should I stay or should I go?

"Mannu go. What will you do in midst of the elders?" dad said and all of them started laughing.

We were sitting at the lounge. Virat hadn't looked at me even once.

'A' n him was getting along quite well. Virat seemed to be recovered from the grumpy mood and I was all grumpy now.

"Ok Virat….now tell me what does the sign say over there?" Abir asked him.

"Caution.wet floor."

"'M' don't get hyper. You'll have him for yourself. Let us get to know each other first."

Virat pursed his lips but the amusement is clearly visible on his face.

Arghhh…..this is embarrassing like hell!!! I need fresh air.

"Mannu where are you going?" I heard mom .why does she have to notice everything???

"Just need some fresh air mom.i'll be at the parking."

It has been a long and tiring day. Let's count what happened with me today. One…I was proposed to be someone's girlfriend in the worst possible way. Two….i was about to get detained because of that someone but nearly escaped. Three….someone went all weird on me. Four….my peaceful family dinner plan got ruined because of someone's family. Five…my weirdo brother liked no no no sorry has become a fan of that certain someone and mocked me in front of him. Hell…I hate this day. Can't I somehow erase this day? That moron had to do with everything that had happened to me today. Can I hate him more???Can I hate anyone or anything more than I hate him? For now?

And as if to answer my thought it started to rain heavily. I hate rain. I.HATE.RAIN!!!!I ran back into the lobby.

"Good for nothing rain. Why oh god why you had to create it?" I whined while trying to pat myself dry.

"You don't like rain." I heard his voice.it was more of a statement than question. God this day is so not gonna end….is it?

"Yes I don't like it. What's the big deal?" I turned and hissed at him.

"You're the first girl I know who doesn't like rain. Weird!!"He looked confused.

Look who's talking. King of weirdness finds me weird.

"But then weird should be your middle name." he shrugged.

That's it. he's so going to die if he stays in front of me any longer. And I don't wanna go to jail.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I HAD ENOUGH OF YOU FOR A DAY. JUST LEAVE!!!" I screamed at him. God he's annoying.

He looked wounded.

Shit I'm not like this. I'm never this rude to anybody. I should apologize.

"Mannu it's time to go. Say goodbye to uncle and aunty." I turned back and saw all of them approaching.

I bid them adieu half-heartedly. Couldn't find Virat anywhere. He was gone. Like before.

After coming to home I went straightly to my room and slumped on the bed.

I shouldn't have screamed at him. Now I'm feeling guilty. Why should I feel guilty? He was annoying me. Arrrghhh……..conscience plz let me sleep!!!!
