Part 14
Seeing everyone so silent, attracted the super cop's attention (of course!). He looked up to everyone's surprised face and his own expression changed to confusion. He looked from face to face, seeing a shocked Chotu, surprised Shree, a shocked (and JEALOUS?!) Sameer and, ooh, a Totally Jealous Riya. 'This is gonna be fun,' he thought.
"Oh... sorry. This is Aisha Kapoor. Meri Bachpan ki dost," he said and Aisha, who was smiling, turned to face him in surprise. She was about to say something but Arjun held her wrist and pleaded her to stay quiet from his eyes. She turned back to the team and gave an unsure smile which wasn't noticed by anyone as they were still under the shock given by Arjun. "Ok. Abhi mujhe thoda kaam hai. Aisha, Shree chalo mere saath," Arjun said and escaped out of the room.
Once outside, Arjun led the duo to his cabin and locked the door. He pulled Aisha into another hug and said, "Tumhe nahi pata ke main Kitna khush hoon tumhe dekh ke. I really missed you so much!"
"Haan haan. Isse liye baat karne ki koshish tak nahi ki na. Sab jaanti hoon main. But Arjun, please, main ek baat kehna chahti hoon. maanoge na?" Aisha said in a serious voice.
"Main jaanta hoon Aisha tum kya kehna chahti ho. Aur trust me. Ab main vaisa nahi hoon. aur main Mom-Dad se bhi jaldi baat karoonga. I know k tum ye soch rahi ho k ye sab kya hai but Aisha, yahan bahut kuch hua hai. Main tumhe sab kuch fursat se bataaonga," Arjun said cupping her face. Shree coughed from behind and said, "Uh sir... aapne mujhe yahan kyun bulaaya?"
"Shree, Ye hai tumhaare plan ki missing kadi. Oh sorry, introducton to bhool hi gaya. Aisha, Ye hai Shree. Aur Shree, Ye hai Aisha, meri cousin," Arjun said with a smile. Shree looked at him confused and said, "cousin?! Par sir aapne kaha ke ye aapki bachpan ki dost hain. to phir...?"
"agar baahar bata deta to plan kaise aage badhaate?" Arjun said. Aisha spoke up, "Oh hello? Kaunsa plan? Kya bol rahe ho Arjun? Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha." "Bahut lambi kahaani hai Aisha," Arjun said, "suno!" Shree and Arjun told her everything from the beginning, Arjun-Riya's meeting, their work, Sikandar's encounter, Goa case, everything.
"Oh My God! Arjun are you serious? Sachi?!" Aisha said in excitement.
"To kya main isse tumhaari approval samjhoon? Arjun asked her.
"Yes! yes! yes! Oh God! Arjun I am so happy!" Aisha said and hugged Arjun.
"Aisha tum hamaara plan mein saath dogi na?" Arjun asked her again. "Tumhaare liye kuch bhi Arjun. Aakhir tum mere favourite bhai ho," Aisha said and winked. "Sir, Rathod sir ko bulaon?" Shree asked Arjun.
"Nahi Shree. Osse acting karne ko kahoge to ho gaya tumhaara plan successful kabhi nahi hoga. Osse iss sab se bahar hi rakho.. main Riya ko khona nahi chahta!" Arjun said.
"To plan shuru?" Aisha asked excitedly. "Definitely!" Shree said smiling.
2 Days later:
They were all sitting in the conference room. They had finished another case and were completing the paper work when Arjun's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Jee? Main Arjun hi bol raha hoon."
"Oh Aunty! Kaisi hain aap? Aisha, Mom ka phone hai!"
Saying this, both of them left the conference room. They entered a few minutes later and went to Sameer. "Rathod, Humein jaana hoga. Aisha ki mom ka phone tha. Vo humse abhi mila chahti hain. kya hum jayein?" Arjun said and Aisha looked with puppy-face. Sameer had no choice but to agree. They left the office and the others continued with their work.
A few hours later, Arjun and Aisha walked into the conference room. They looked lost so Sameer asked them what the matter was. "Sameer, Vo... chod yaar. Kya faida?" Arjun said and walked out. They all turned to Aisha and she looked at them with a closed expression. She too left the room and they all looked at each other worried at what might have gone wrong. They were all thinking of finding a way to know what bothered Arjun and Aisha. Sameer, Riya and Shree looked at Chotu and he stared back. "Chotu! Dekhna band kar aur ja," an annoyed Riya said finally.
"kahan jaon Ri?" Chotu said. "Humein pata hai k Aisha ke saath sabse close tu hai.. in 4-5 dino mein osne sabse zyaada tumhaare saath dosti ki hai. Ab ja aur pooch osse k baat kya hai." Shree said. Chotu sighed and went out of the conference room.
Fifteen minutes later, Arjun, Aisha and Chotu entered the conference room. "guys, humein tumhe kuch bataana hai," Arjun said. "Actually, Aap sab se kuch share karna tha," Aisha said.
"Humaare parents chahte hain ke hum shaadi kar len!" Arjun-Aisha said together, shocking everyone, especially Riya and Sameer. If there was a definition of pain, then the feelings of Sameer and Riya would have defied that.
This totally unexpected news shocked them so much that no one noticed the slight smile on our techie Specky Sen's face!
