I agree! Which is why it is silly for anyone to point fingers at the actors for low TRPs when in truth the story has lost its appeal for the regular TRP audience. Actors can only do so much and I have stuck around mostly because of Kratika and Gurmeet's dynamic performances. Not everyone else will do the same. When they feel the story gets stale, they will leave and no amount of star power could change that.

At no point, I felt the story has gone stale. In my POV TRP started going down because there was another new show Veera. Half of the TRP audience will always want to see a fresh story so they left. PV was always low on drama quotient, it mostly dealt with emotional turmoil. Some have said PV is ahead of time, rightly said.

Yash almost marriage to Ishita gave high TRP but wasn't that a silly track. So who to blame TRP audience or CVS? Bad dialogues, I believe PV never had any in fact I listen with attentiveness to every dialogue. My only complaint is that in the end the CVS were more interested in TRP that they overlooked many loose ends.

I also think it was because of the Prashant arc and the ratings blackout. Ever since that time, PV has had a hard time gaining back lost viewers and sadly they never did get those back. At times, I felt like tearing my hair apart at some of the stuff in the show but GC-KS and the fantastic episodes the CVS cranked out often overshadowed the bad. But the TRP audience is different.
