Exactly! CR, I doubt any of us would take such a step without involving our mother and our families. But this is Madhu who thinks and does as her mind and heart dictates. Haven't we been unhappy with her stand many times before too? And Padmini will come around soon, in fact she will give her blessings to the couple ... so don't think much about it.

Agree with you girls. That is exactly why I call Madhu selfish. It is always about her. She does what she wants to do and leaves her family to deal with the consequences.

I know her family will come around eventually - they always do. They love her too much not to. Just that it feels that she doesn't deserve such devotion. That is true of RK too - his mother and Bittuji are devoted to him despite him not treating them well.

I love both of them for being such charismatic people and having such mindblowing chemistry. Still it would be nice if a character actually verbalises their shortcomings to their faces. Deepali is that person and that's why I'm liking her more and more with time. I like grey when it is open about being grey (RK) but not when it pretends to be all white despite everything (Madhu).

I may sound conservative , infact I am , in these issues..Madhu was married to RK , she still loves him (Trishna knows it) , she's now giving a second chance to RK and their relationship so I'll support her even if she's being selfish..personally, i'll always give precedence to my husband over my mom, general opinion might differ...RK is worth it or no and whether Madhu's decision is correct or no is a different issue altogether...if it was a love marriage and one of the families or both were against it, then it's debatable whether they should wait for their parent's approval...

CR, not informing Mallik is not Madhu's fault. It is the CVs' fault because if they wanted Mallik in the picture, should they have not had Pads talk to him before approaching Sultan for help? After all he is the father. Yes, Mallik is conspicuous by his absence, both physically as well as in the conversations between the family members. not once was he referred to during the entire unwedding drama then or the wedding drama now.



The CVs' lack of interest in closing glaring holes such as this in their story narration is what frustrates many. Why did they have to get Pads and Shamsher married if they have to leave him out of the plot? They could have shown heartbroken Mallik leave Pads and the rest of his family because he is not getting his pardon. Instead they showed a grand wedding and yet the new bride is least bothered about what is happening to her husband who has been missing for weeks now on a never ending out door shoot and she does not even call him up to convey her worries. Instead she is busy holding a gansgter's hands and giving him pleading looks.


In fact everything associated with the plot post unwedding seems so unrealistic.
