v - "Zaaine no sleeping please. Come on let's go eat downstairs"
z - "No daa sleep please"
v - "Zaaine, Jeevika hasn't eaten either. Do you want her to stay hungry" he said laughing knowing Zaaine would never say no now...
j - "oh my god Viren"
z - "Daa five minutes please"
j - "Okay five minutes. Close your eyes"
j - "I'll go freshen up" she said walking to the bathroom.
Meanwhile Viren was looking out through the windows and the beautiful view of the city. He turned around to see Zaaine fast asleep with his mouth half-open. He went and lay down on the bed next to him hugging him while he slept.
j - "Wow he's so darn tired"
Viren got up from Zaaine's side and got up and went towards Jeevika.
v - "I know plus jet lag. I could use some coffee right now"
j - "Same here"
v - "I don't think so. No more coffee for you. You need to decrease your caffeine intake"
j - "Viren, its fine"
v - "no you had so much coffee when you were pregnant with Zaaine. There's no way I'm going to let you drink coffee now. Plus you don't have more medical exams to pass"
j - "But I'm sleepy too" she said hugging Viren
v - "Then go to sleep after we eat. I'm starving now and this kid wants to sleep"
Viren walked over to Zaaine and tapped his little shoulder.
v - "Zaaine come on lets go eat and then you can go to sleep"
Zaaine got up from the bed with his eyes closed. He didn't want to go anywhere but he still obeyed his parents.
j - "Viren pick him up. He's too exhausted"
Viren did as Jeevika said and the three of them went downstairs with Zaaine half asleep on Viren.
j - "Shall we eat down the street on the food carts?"
v - "Yup let's go fast and come back. Zaaine is really really tired"
Viren and Jeevika walked together down on the streets of New York with Viren still carrying Zaaine. They came upon a small cart which smelled good to both Jeevika and Viren. They ordered their favorite Mexican food standing right next to the cart watching them make the food fresh.
v - "Zaaine can I put you down so you can eat"
z - "Please no daa" he said hugging him tighter.
j - "Okay here take a bite Zaaine"
z - "No food mommy"
v - "You haven't eaten in so long. If you get sick Zaaine then you can't see snow right?"
z - "Okay fine" he said turning his head around and taking a bite from Jeevika who was feeding both Zaaine and Viren now.
z - "Mommy you eat?"
j - "I'm eating too Zaaine" she said taking a bite to make him relieved.
v - "Isn't it yummy Zaaine. Should we get more?"
z - "Daa no feel good"
j - "What happened Zaaine?"
z - "Don't know mommy"
j - "You're really tired. After you take a nap you will feel better"
z - "Okay mommy" he said resting his head on Viren's shoulder closing his eyes.
j - "I'm full now' you?"
v - "I'm done too. You want to get something sweet to eat?"
j - "Not really. Zaaine do you want dessert or something" she said hoping he'd get a little excited
z - "No mommy. No feel good" he said holding his throat.
v - "Is your throat hurting?"
Zaaine nodded no and started crying softly.
j - "Do you feel like throwing up?"
Zaaine didn't know what was wrong.
j - "Let's walk back fast. He maybe feeling nauseous Viren"
v - "Let's go. Zaaine how about you walk a little it will make you feel better"
Zaaine nodded okay and Viren put him down. He held his parents' hand and walked back to the hotel. He observed the different people on the street. He saw so many different things which he hadn't back at home. Zaaine was curious to see the new places but he was barely being able to keep his eyes open.
v - "Zaaine you want to walk around or are you sleepy?"
z - "Want to walk daa"
v - "Jeevs you want to walk or are you tired"
j - "I'm fine actually. Let's walk around for a bit, I think he's starting to enjoy it now"
v - "Zaaine do you want to go to the hugest toy store"
Suddenly Zaaine's eyes grew wider listening to his dad. He was super duper excited now to go to this new store. Viren and Jeevika looked at each other and smiled seeing his excitement. The three of them walked around and finally Zaaine saw this huge Toys'R'Us store in front of his eyes. He ran inside so excited to see everything.
z - "Daa sooo many toys"
v - "I know. Go look around"
Zaaine was in paradise and frankly Virika were seeing him this happy. Probably the happiest he had ever been. The two of them walked behind Zaaine holding hands just looking at him pick up different toys and then put them back down after analyzing them. He was the son of lawyer Viren Vadhera after all 😆. They spent almost an hour here now going through every floor and every department. Zaaine hadn't picked up anything though.
v - "Zaaine don't you want to get any toy"
z - "No daa"
v - "Why not? You don't like them?"
z - "Me like all"
v - "Then why don't you get some?"
z - "Daa you choose for me"
v - "You pick out the ones you like the most. How about we go see the Cars section again"
z - "Okay daa"
Viren and Jeevika giggled at Zaaine and then walked to find something of his liking. Viren and Zaaine were looking at a few toys when Jeevika saw some cute teddy bears nearby. She walked over and picked out this one. It looked like the same one she and Viren had bought when they had come to New York last for their wedding. That time Jeevika had picked it up for Zaaine, and now again she was going to get one' a pink one in specific. Viren and Zaaine both walked to Jeevika who was looking at the teddy bears.
z - "Daa, mommy want teddy bear"
v - "This looks like the one'"
j - "That we had got for Zaaine" she said completing his sentence.
v - "This is quite cute. Last time we got it for one monkey and now we will buy it for someone else. Pick up that one" he said pointing to the pink fluffy one.
Jeevika picked it up smiling and looking at Zaaine a little confused.
z - "Daa who this pink bear for?"
v - "Uhmmm''"
