The talented and gorgeous Disha Parmar who is seen playing the role of Pankhuri in Rajshri Productions popular daily soap Pyaar Ka Dard Hai...Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara on Star Plus, says that she has started liking cricket much after attending the IPL matches for giving the Nayi Soch Award presented by Star Plus. So on the same we got in touch with her to know more about her recent love for cricket.

An ecstatic Disha said, "I have attended nearly 8 IPL matches and hence I have been influenced by it. Though the only sport I love was Basketball, I have started liking cricket much more now."

Do you enjoy watching cricket matches live? "Yes I do love watching the match live. It is an all together a different feel when you watch the match live and the one which you watch in front of the screen. The enjoyment level is on par."

So who are your favorite players? "Well I am a big fan of Mumbai Indians as I am a Mumbaite. I like the spectacular and dashing player of Mumbai Indians a.k.a Sachin Tendulkar who is known as the 'Baap of Cricket'. Apart from him I also like Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir who are from other teams."

"Whenever we have free time during shooting or during breaks the production house people along with a few cast members of the show play cricket on the sets. I too have tried my hand at it and I like playing this game. I always do batting as I don't like bowling. I have got a compliment too from people with whom I play cricket that I play pretty well (smiles). I used to also play with my friends during childhood too. Cricket is always fun whether it is watching or playing." she concluded.
