Its interesting how many film songs where mentioned or partially sung by some character from the show. I think it'll be interesting to make a list here.
Bin Tere Sanam (film: Yaara Dildaara 1991) = Kareena's ringtone
Chura Liya Hai Tumne (film: Yaadon Ki Baraat 1973) = what Kareena suggested Damodar (Manjula's son who wanted to be a singer) sing a phrase at a time, one thousand times, one foot!
Hanste Hanste Kat Jaaye Raste (film: Khoon Bhari Maang 1988) = the song Priyanka sang to Tushar on the car ride when Priyanka mentioned about her dreams to be a pop star.
Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli Haye (film: Anand 1970) = aired today in the U.S. Lovely hums this tune. The original film was about Anand (Rajesh Khanna). He knows he has cancer and will die soon. Instead of worrying, he tried to live every bit of life he has till the very end. This song always gets me goosebumps when I see or hear it.
Sajna Hai Mujhe Sajna Ke Liye (film: Saudagar 1973) = one of the songs Kareena and Jiya were singing in some episode in May. There were more, but this one stuck out.
