My husband and I knew this middle aged woman and her family in india. When my husband left for india for business purposes for four months, I started hanging out with the woman and her family. One day, I came over their house and saw her watching a show called Kyunki. After watching it for 15 minutes, I started watching to get really interested in it. I wanted to watch more by myself, so I went to the indian store with her and got more cassettes. Then I went on the Internet and looked for written updates, as I did not speak hindi at all that time. Now when I watch an episode, I alwaus read the updates after. Her children got me into watching bollywood films, as long as they have english subtittles.
