One thing occurred to me though...
I know the topic of contention here is personal attacks against members and that is actually being addressed admirably through sustained efforts of Omnipotence and others crusading alongside him.
But on the other side, here I am actually trying to comprehend as to how much a celeb can actually be criticized openly- to what extent?
We all know clearly that this acting skills, looks and social disposition are all open to 'healthy' criticism. By healthy it means abusive name calling is a no-no right? If I comment under a newspaper article pertaining to Shahrukh saying he is chutiya, 3rd grade f**king asshole, sala gay...that is clearly crossing boundaries, is it not?
Disclaimer: I am NOT saying that critics here are doing the same thing, in fact faaar from it. I am just trying to understand where do we draw the line, that's all.
Similarly, the celebs' personal lives, regarding which they have not made any public announcements, but only rumors are afloat- wild conjectures on that is also not fair and can attract defamation lawsuits?
We know about media's unhealthy curiosity with celeb's personal lives, something which can also lead to a Princess Diana like fiasco #AnExample
So, can we have a healthy debate on what can be called breaking all red signals while discussing/criticizing a celeb's personal life(on which no official announcement has been made) on a public platform??
