v - "Jeevika I got some food"
j - "viren I really don't want any food right now. You eat"
v - "Jeevika eat a little. Zaaine must be hungry too"
j - "Let him sleep. I'll feed him when he wakes up otherwise he will be cranky without his sleep. All day yesterday he refused to take a nap. "
v - "Okay, but can you please take a bite. You want a sip of coffee?"
j - "No coffee. Just give me a bite of the sandwich"
Viren fed her a bite and then took a bite himself.
v - "Want some more?"
j - "Yes actually. It's good"
v - "See I told you" he said feeding her again.
j - "Viren can you hold Zaaine. I need to go to the restroom"
v - "Yeah" he said standing up and picking Zaaine up.
By the time Jeevika came back from the bathroom it was time to board the plane again. The three of them headed inside. They put Zaaine at the windows seat where he was still asleep. Viren sat next to him buckling him up and covering him up as well.
j - "We have to take plenty of pictures of him. He's going to remember this trip forever. Even after going back home he will bombard us with questions on when we're going next and if we can take him to see snow"
v - "Maybe we should take him to Big Bear. It's barely two hours away pus he can see plenty of snow"
j - "Yeah when we have time we can. You should actually take him snowboarding"
v - "Yeah that would be fun. But you won't be able to snowboard"
j - "Not for the next few months anyways. Remember our winter break we would go to snowboarding for like 3 days straight"
v - "Those were the days. We even went to Tahoe and remember how much it snowed"
j - "And we weren't able to drive back so we had to get a hotel room and spend the night. We sipped on hot chocolate and watched old movies on our laptop"
v - "Now we can sip on hot chocolate with our little monkey in the middle"
j - "We'll have two little monkeys soon"
v - "One little Zaaine and one little angel who we need to start thinking names of"
j - "Too early Viren"
v - "It's never too early"
j - "Yes it is. I'm just wondering how Zaaine will react especially if he sees my stomach huge. He'll want to know everything"
v - "So if he asks why is your stomach big, we'll just say you have a baby inside you"
j - "And if he'll be like how do you make a baby then?"
v - "You must say the truth" he said sarcastically 🤣
j - "Oh shutup Viren. Viren I'm getting hungry"
v - "I have another sandwich"
j - "Can I have it"
v - "Yup" he said getting it out from the Starbucks bag.
v - "We should be reaching in another few hours"
j - "I need to catch up on sleep before going anywhere"
v - "Where should we go tonight?"
j - "Just dinner"
v - "I want to go shopping"
j - "What is wrong with you? You don't like shopping"
v - "Yeah well I want to go shopping. Plus we have another little one to shop for"
j - "Viren I really hope we have a girl this time"
v - "Me too"
j - "Viren I'm kinda stressed though because we don't have another room for a nursery"
v - "I know. I was just thinking that. Plus we can't keep a newborn in the same room with a then 5 year old"
j - "Exactly. Plus we can't make the office into a room because you need your space. And even if we give Zaaine that room I'm always going to be worried about him being downstairs by himself"
v - "so then we're stuck with two options. Either we have no nursery and we keep the baby in our room with us or we have to start finding new place"
j - "A new home or condo"
v - "Well depends which area. I mean we need something not too far away because our condo right now is pretty central to everything. Your work, my work and Zaaine's pre-school"
j - "But this condo is so special. It was my gift for our 2nd anniversary"
v - "I know this place is very special to us. I mean Zaaine's first home, our first home together but think about it"
j - "I don't want to give this place up Viren"
v - "I know I don't either. But even if we keep the baby with us Zaaine will want to move to our room. And eventually the baby's going to need her own space and room right?"
j - "No we can make Zaaine and the baby share a room. I mean after a year she will be sleeping 7 hours at night. So it won't be bad. And Zaaine's room is big enough"
v - "So for one year you're going to keep the baby in our bedroom"
j - "Yes"
v - "Jeevika we're going to have to move one day. We can't stay here all the time"
j - "Not now though Viren"
v - "We can move in a few months"
j - "A few months? When I'm big and fat and can't do any work at all"
v - "So what"
j - "I'm not moving from here. Our baby can sleep in our room" she said laying down back on Viren's shoulder
Zaaine started moving from his seat. Viren and Jeevika both started looking towards him as he was rubbing his eyes.
z - "Daa snow?" 😛
v - "A few more hours Zaaine. Go back to sleep"
z - "Mommy lap"
j - "Come here"
Zaaine moved his seat going towards Jeevika. He got on her lap and went back to sleep on her.
v - "You know once we start buying everything again for the baby, you're going to have to room to keep it anywhere and you're going to start panicking"
j - "I'll figure it out"
v - "We will see" he said smiling
j - "How much longer Viren. I'm getting impatient now"
v - "Uhmm around two more"
j - "I'm getting bored"
v - "Shall I dance for you?" 😆
j - "No thank you" 🥱
v - "Idea!!!"
j - "What?"
v - "Let's watch a movie on Zaaine's iPad"
j - "Lol is there any other movie besides CARS in that iPad" 🤣
v - "I think so"
v - "Zaaine wake up. Look we're in New York now"z - "Daa sleep"
v - "You want to stay on the plane and sleep? Fine then the pilot will take you back home while me and Jeevika go play in the snow"
z - "Noo Daa. But me sleepy"
j - "Viren you just hold him. I'll hold the bag"
v - "No let him get up and walk. He's been sleeping the whole time"
j - "Fine whatever. Make him more cranky"
Zaaine rubbed his eyes and clung onto Viren's hand. They waited till all the passengers to leave and then got up so Jeevika wouldn't be claustrophobic. The three of them got up and walked out the plane with Zaaine holding Viren's hand.
z - "Daa cold"
v - "I'll get your jacket out. Hold Jeevika's hand"
Zaaine was excited to just get out of the airport already and to see snow everywhere. He was getting impatient as he held onto Jeevika's hand waiting for their luggage to come.
z - "Mommy snow"
j - "Zaaine please hold on. Let's get out bags first and then we'll go to our hotel"
z - "But we play in snow"
j - "We will play in snow promise. Just be patient please"
v - "Okay got all our bags. Ready to go?"
j - "Yup. Come on Zaaine lets go"
The three of them walked outside, but only to get to see Zaaine disheartened. There was no snow right now. It was just really really windy and Viren and Jeevika looked at each other concerned knowing how upset Zaaine was probably going to be now. Viren quickly got a cab and started putting all their stuff inside while Jeevika and Zaaine sat inside the taxi. Once the driver started heading towards Viren noticed Zaaine starting to cry.
v - "Zaaine whats wrong?"
Zaaine didn't answer. He hid his face not wanting to see anyone. Jeevika picked him up in her lap and hugged him.
j - "Zaaine it's okay it will snow soon okay. I promise. We're going to be here for a few days and before you leave you will get to play in the snow for however long you want okay?"
Zaaine started crying more and Jeevika couldn't help but smile a little.
v - "He's tired. After he takes a nap and eats he'll be fine. Zaaine look at that building. Look at how tall it is"
Zaaine wiped his eyes and looked through the windows. He moved to sit on Viren's lap as he was sitting near the window. He just dozed off looking at the huge buildings and the huge crowds walking everywhere.
Entering the hotel, Zaaine was just observing everything or at least trying to because he was very sleep still. He wanted to just lay down but he patiently waited sitting on the sofa watching the baggage as Viren and Jeevika went to get the keys to their room.
v - "Zaaine" he said trying to wake him up
j - "Zaaine lets go upstairs to our room. Come on" she said helping him get up.
The three of them walked upstairs as Zaaine clung onto Jeevika's leg as he was tired. The elevator doors opened and Zaaine woke up again. As soon as Viren opened the door he climbed onto the bed and closed his eyes.
v - "Zaaine no sleeping please. Come on let's go eat downstairs"
z - "No daa sleep please"
v - "Zaaine, Jeevika hasn't eaten either. Do you want her to stay hungry" he said laughing knowing Zaaine would never say no now...
j - "oh my god Viren"
z - "Daa five minutes please"
j - "Okay five minutes. Close your eyes"
