mamis dear...there are many other causes in real life.other thn villians..you look at astitva..ek prem kahani..it had a vamp named kiran..but she not in extreme as kaveri..the mother-n-law of simran, but later she realised her mistake and she used to support and help simran...they wer so down to earth natural characters, like they wer one of us.It was delicately handled the relationship of husband and wife..Mamis, have u seen saloni taking a breath of fresh air..always in problem..now jiji will go another one is already in...yug and kunjan and yug's boss...
I used to watch Astitva too, i loved that show... but they had their own set of villans. One was simran's MIL who was bad in the beginning, Kiran, Neha (she was good at first, but then turned bad), Aastha (the one who died in the accident), Yash. And even in this show they showed everyone was out for revenge against Simran. And she came thru all that just fine, just like Saloni. So what i'm trying to say is, Astitva didn't have less villans, they had their share too.
And Kiran was just as extreme as Kaveri. She even had an affair when she was married to Abhi, and Abhi had an affair when he was married to Simran. The show had its ups and downs, but i still enjoyed that, just like SP
