This poem is inspired from the last line of Indi's review of 111

this was a night like no other night.

and these lines from Cynthia's review of 111-113

Both Arnav and Kushi are fixed to be

ENGAGED...

THE NIGHT

This was a night like no other

Turmoil of emotions witnessed by none other

From a night of passion, it turned into one of distraught

Happiness for all, but for the two, only misery it brought 👏⭐️

Moments of attraction created a repelling effect

Enormities of desires lead to a decision inept

This was a couple in love, meant to be together ⭐️

But a night like this they had dreamt of never

One was the receiver; the other, the giver of pain

One was confused; the other had control to gain

One denied to confess; as the other denied to earlier

Both wearing masks to hide from each other

As they stood under the moonlit sky

Forgetting each other, such a worthless try

Both in pain, pining for each other ⭐️

Both agreed to be engaged, but alas, with some other

if he hadn't said "shadi kar raha hai," she wouldn't have said "theek hai" this evening.

she stood there watching her father in agony, breaking up, then she let a dream go. this man meant more to her than anyone, and when the only other man that had mattered said she meant nothing to him, what was left to think about, dream about.

an obscene man had won the evening. perhaps because a man of conscience did what he never should have... run away scared. but we are not creatures of should and ought only, we are human, fragile in a million ways, often doing "how could you" things. and arnav singh raizada had done just that.

Perhaps the very reason why ASR was more believable and endearing as he has just been a human... some one full of a range of all humane emotions encompassing from "I love you" to "I hate you"!

the repercussion of that doing was now on the two. in smartly designed parallel scenes their dear siblings try to find out if all is as it should be. and are the two happy. khush. anjali and payal are close to their younger ones, they can sense them often. something tells di and jiji that these two are not ok.

the decision was taken in haste... jaldbaazi. clever use of same words in both scenes. the writer is not taking sides. both his protagonists are feeling equally wretched. in their own way.

"kahin tumne yeh faisla jaldbaazi mein toh nahin liya na?" you didn't take this decision in haste, did you, asks di.

his mind flies to a girl with silken lips, curious excited eyes... how he still wants her.

he can't answer this question with his customary abruptness, he can't find words... not yet.

"chhote, hume batao... tum khush toh ho na?" chhotey, tell me, you are happy arent't you?

he swings away, not prepared to go there.

"of course, di." bad liar.

"main khush hoon." i am happy.

di is happy, prattles on about the dither when you decide on marriage, talk of jeejaji...

"chhotey, jab faisle dimaag se nahin dil se liye jaate hai na, toh sab accha hota hai." chhotey, when decisions are taken with the heart and not the head, then all goes well. poor girl. if indeed all decisions of the heart were so right would hers turn out to be so off the mark?

maybe a comment on the importance of both dil and dimaag in life. asr has both. so does khushi. just that each thinks the other has one part missing. or maybe a comment on the inevitable... fate, destiny, call it what you like.

anjali had chosen shyam. and look what he did with her loving trusting heart. a situation full of the tragic element of life... here she is going on about how terribly happy she is with her man... and there he is getting engaged to another woman. later, he will use this very loving generous nature of hers to get money out of her to buy his engagement ring for khushi. digusting.

and look at poor khushi's state. the only man she had ever loved as a woman loves a man, felt dhakdhak for, in just one evening, he'd taken her to bliss then thrown her into the abyss of the door slammed shut, the this means nothing, and now in a situation where she must consider others before herself, she is getting engaged to that man's beloved sister's husband.

then there's asr. mute, unable to explain his fears his pain, hurting everyone, khushi, la, nani, di with that utterly wrong spur of the moment decision.

sometimes things just happen the way they happen, nothing seems to be able to stop it.

"tumne yeh faisla dil se liya hai na?" you've taken this decision from the heart, haven't you? payal asks khushi.

"batao na, khushi, hum tumse kuch pooch rahe hain, kya shyamji wohi insaan hain, jinke saath tum apni poori zindagi guzarne ke liye taiyaar ho?" tell me khushi, is shyam ji the one you want to spend your life with?

jiji, i have decided now, and did you see how happy everyone was. to her that matters most. to him too only his sis's happiness is of importance... but this time even that didn't figure.

"aur tum?" and you, payal persists.

"hum? humara toh naam hi khushi hai." me? after a painful pause and struggle within.. why my name is happiness. both lied beautifully, one even managed to smile and act cute.

payal's continuing questions, are you sure? didn't rush into it, did you, etc., took khushi to the memories of the poolside, a man she had wanted to experience...and from a very young girl came a philosophical take on the evening's madness.

"kuch cheeze bas yoonhin ho jaati hai... bina soche... bina samjhe..."
some things happen just like that, without thinking or understanding...

payal is not listening, she goes on, but buaji wants an engagement quickly... are you ready?

engagement... and she hears him say, "main lavanya se shadi kar raha hoon..." i am marrying, lavanya.

his cheek rests on la's hair in her memory. but he's looking at her... he watches her as her tear falls. khushi remembers, face growing sadder, hurt, puzzled, bleeding within...

rabba vey.. and his most hurtful words cascade... ending in koi ahmiyat nahin... you're of no importance.

"jo bhi hua hum use bhoolne ke liye taiyaar hain..." whatever has happened, i am ready to forget that, she answers payal.

i am prepared to forget... not i am prepared to marry. this marriage is just for her family, her babuji.. if only she knew the truth, she would possibly kill shyam with her bare hands

payal has no idea what khushi is saying, of course.

"aur waise bhi ab hume wahan jan hi nahin hoga..." anyway, i am not going there any more.

what are you saying, khushi...?

she is going to start afresh.. and this is the best way... so that had really been her decision. a young girl... her inner energy for life, for tomorrow dictates a choice. no sad sack, pillar hugging and crying heroine she... naya daur... new phase. a modern contemporary streak in our desi girl.
like that idiot she loves. 😆😆... how cute is my ASR!!

the one who is standing silent, feeling tortured within but determined to get the better of this hold on him she seems to have.

"devi maiyya hain na, woh sab sambhal lenge. dm will take care of everything." how badly khushi needs her god now. when life feels particularly terrible, dark, hopeless, we turn to the eternal and say... this is all in your hands now... take me through... sambhaliye. some day, he will come back to do what was his duty... but for now there's dm. always.

a key drops out of a bag.

"zara suniye..." she remembers that day at the dargah...why were some meetings so unforgettable?

"aap ki mannat ki chabi gir gayi." your mannat key has fallen.

but he hadn't made a mannat. maybe the key had a mind of its own and decided that he needed something... someone?

"yeh kaisi chabi hai, parameswari," what sort of key is this, parameswari, asks her bua in her usual scold love way. you've kept it as though it's the key to a treasure.

ah, a treasure... khazana... more, actually.

"kuch nahin buaji... " it's nothing, buaji.

then let it go..."phenk do isse." did she hear a cold, wintry voice say... "phenk do."

the payal has done its work. now it's key's turn

• After Khushi got engaged Arnav said to Anjali, "Khush nehi hain to Sagai kyun ki, koyi zabar dasti thi Kya , Jise pyaar nehi karti, jiske saath reh nehi sakti uske saath sari zindegi kaise bitayegi" As if he knew that Khushi loved only him, can live only with him, had dreamt to spend the rest of her life with him only so the only reason she would agree to marry some one else would be if she was forced. She was forced- so true by her bua, by creepwa and by her own heartbreak. At that point she had accepted that she had died. I think her agreeing to marry Shyam was one point I did not agree to her, because she had the choice to share her misery with them, that she loved Arnav and though he had got engaged she could not. But she could not give her inherent goodness. It sometimes I think is tiring to live with someone whose virtues are higher then your own. However in the dreamworld of love when reality intervenes the pain is excrutiating and at that point I guess her heart had died.
  

• When Arnav said," Maine tumhare pasand ka set Lavanya ko de diya- hope tumhe koyi faraq nehi padta". That line reminded me of the gloating Arnav was showing with his eyes when he announced his engagement to Lavanya. It seemed he wanted her to react and reclaim her right, however at the same time knew she would not. When he said tumhe to laga hoga ke tumhari zindego ban geyi.

• When Khushi said, " Sapno ke duniya mein rehna hi accha hain Lavanya ji- Kyunki Asli duniya mein sirf dil toot-te hain.". She in her dream world was married to Arnav and even happy although he was comparing her to Delhi's autorickshaw. And in reality she got Arnav who broke her heart by getting engaged to Lavanya, and telling her that for him love had no meaning, and gloating over her broken heart. When Arnav closed the door leaving the GH and Khushi jolted on the sound- made me remember - yes Asli duniya mein -in real world the heart gets broken, and no one hears that and it is even obscured by the sound of a slamming car door. The crying afterwards echoed when Khushi told him " Hum jaante hain ke hamare hone na hone se aapko koyi faraq nehi padta."

• After Payash get togather on the hiltop and ARSHI look at each other : It signified that they also wanted to get engaged to each other and say to each other, it carried the pain of what they had done instead- Arnav had announced his engagement to La and Khushi to Shyam. They had done for the happiness of their families. Arnav- to prevent the blickering of the guests and Khushi to make Buaji happy. However at that they did not think they could trust either Anjali or Payal for whose happiness they had done could handle the truth of them loving each other. So they hurt and rejected each other. This however did not make their families and those whom they cared happy. Because Anjali thought- Arnav was giving him Dhoka and doing it in the heat of a moment. At the same time Payal was concerned that- " Tum soch to liya hain na Khushi." At the hilltop probably they were wishing that in DIwali they would have become happy if they had let their elder siblings maintain the duty of an elder sibling and share their pain. They probably were seeing for the firsttime first hand that if people find the true love that makes the rest of the family happy too, not only giving in to the pressure of family members.

• In Payash Party after the Desi girl dance when Arnav said, "Sometimes - nehi hamesha hi tum mujhe hairan kar deti ho - Khushi kumari Gupta," I was thinking of that reflecting his thoughts after Khushi came to give everyone sweets. When he said- he wanted to ask- "Are you upset because of your broken relationship which happened less then a week back." I was remembering how she was even more upset in the Diwali after Arnav broke her heart and probably that is what he wanted to ask her- if she was upset after he broke her heart. When Khushi said- " Whenever you speak I am prepared for all the hurtful things you want to say, because you have not learned to say anything nice." It showed that when she came out to get her batwa and spoke to him in the car, she had already prepared herself for a lot of hurtful things, however what he said superseded what she had expected to hear- when he said, " Tumhe to laga hoga tumhari zindegi ban geyi." and " Mere liye tumhari or uss baath ki koyi matlab nehi."When after marriage Khushi said ' Aap jante hain aapki bato se, aapke harkat se hame kitni chote pohchi he." This echoed how his words and his action hurt her after he said those words.

• During the Khushi's 101 ways to irritate ASR when Khushi said " Jiss insaan ka dil patthar jaisa hoon uske liye hum ek bhi aaso nehi bahayenge- Isi ki layek hain na hum- isi dard ki to bardasht karne di jiye na- hume to isse bhi bari saza milne chahiye ( I am not going to shed a single tear for a person whose heart is of stone and according to you I deserve getting hurt so let me tolerate it- I deserve even bigger punishment) The pain Khushi had to tolerate when she was forced to get engaged to Shyam- probably she thought that was her punishment for loving Arnav and the pain she went when she was hurt physically by Arnav probably was nothing compared. She also was probably came to a conclusion in Diwali that Arnav's heart is made of stone and shedding tears as she did after he announced his engagement and told her - iss sab se koyi faraq nehi padta, was futile.

• In the Shaitan and Sundari episode - When Khushi described ASR, " Har raath Sundari ko sapne mein ek sundar sa rajkumar dikhta tha, jiska shwabhab bahut achcha tha, mitha bolta tha, sundari ka bahut kheyal rakhta tha. Karwate badalti sundari sirf usi ki Khwab dekhti thi. Lekin har raat Rajkumar sundari ko ek sawal puch tha tha. Sundari ko is baat samjh hi nehi aati thi ki- shaitaan or rajkumar eki aadmi the, jab sundari ko pata chala to woh hairan pareshan huwe-ke yeh kaisa ho sakta hain- pal mein shaitan-pal mein rajkumar,yeh dono ek kaise ho sake hain. Eki pal mein sukh dena aur agle hi pal mein dukh Kuch samajh hi nehi paaye woh." This simply reflected how Khushi felt when Arnav broke her heart. He became a rajkumar when he came and gave her payal and shaitan when he told her he did not to want to hear anything from her. A rajkumar when he came after her because he knew she was upset from a broken heart and shaitan when he told her to get out. Rajkumar again when he came to return her purse and ask after her dad and Shaitan again when he told her - Yeh sabse mujhe koyi faraq nehi padta. So no wonder- Sundari could not understand.

• When after the storm of Khushi's attempted suicide," When Arnav said " Kiss mitti se bani hain yeh" I was remembering like Ami and Indi how she had become extra chirpy after her heart broke. She was delivering sweets to everyone.

• When during Kidnapping Arnav said to Khushi, " Rona bandh karon- Khushi I love you." and when in the almost suhagraat said " I love you- damnit" It was as if he wanted to say the same when he saw Khushi crying. He also wanted to tell her- he did not believe in the rituals of marriage he did not believe in the rasms, to him the only thing of importance was his feelings. I hoped he would console her when she cried listening to his engagement," Khushi I am fine, Please math roh, Khushi rona bandh karon, Khushi mein, Khushi mein tumko, Khushi I love you." Probably he was thinking of saying them when he went to look for her and told her to get in the car and because he could not come back and tell them again he was hurt after leaving GH in his car.

• During Telepathy dialogue When Arnav Said- " Khushi main jab bhi tumhari paas hota hoon hamesha tumse door door jane ko jaldo mein rehta hoon, lekin jab bhi tumse door jaata hoon tumhari paas aane ki Khayal rehta hain-" No wonder when he came close to kissing her- he hurried to announce his engagement in the next moment. But when she left he had to go to bring her close again. When in the car he told her to get out as if to hastily push her away and then when she left he came back to return her moneybag. When he was again close to her he again sent her away by saying that nothing makes a difference. During telepathy dialogues when Khushi said," Aap paas raho ya door, lekin ho to hamari saath hi na? Yeh dooriya hamari rishte ko kamzoor nehi bana sakti. kyun ki hum ek doosre ko sun sakte hain mehsoos kar sakte hain- ek doosre sain baate kar sakte hain." So even in the worst of the times when Arnav had announced his engagement he was not with Lavanya and the rest of his family, but with Khushi, with his eyes he was following her every moment and was with her when he thought he needed her in the middle of the road crying. Arnav may be was far but still Khushi was feeling his presence when she conceded to getting engaged to Shyam. Maybe in her heart she knew their respective announcement to getting engaged to someone else did not have the power to weaken their relationship.
  

• After Arnav reminded Khushi of the contract marriage post kidnapping and Khushi said, "Jaise hum aapko bhul ne lagenge, hame yaad dilane ke liye aap hame taklif pahuchayenge, dard denge, hamare dil torenge." It seemed she had forgotten that ASR was her Arnavji when she allowed him to come close. True to this " Hame yaad dilane ke liye aap hame taklif pahuchayenge (to remind me you will start hurting me s" he went and told her he did not want to speak to her and did not need to give her an explanation. "Dard denge(inflict pain)"-- As he did when he announced his engagement and "Hamare dil torenge (break my heart)"- When Arnav told her his giving her back the payal and almost kiss did not mean a thing. In that dialogue it was evident most strongly Khushi's judgement of Arnav's character.

• In Khushi working 24 hours for Arnav and during Arnav- back message when Arnav said, "Jab tum chup hoti hoon tumhari akhen sab kuch sach bolti hain- Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada." It made me think how in spite of her silence her eyes spoke volumes when he announced his engagement. In the same track Arnav asked Khushi about her payal and she said, " I know it belongs to your mother and you always wear it." This ironically made me recall, " He told her- giving back her payal meant nothing." So Arnav bitwa if it meant nothing how come you remember that conversation to such a minute detail. At the same time was wishfully thinking- he would say her Payal was beautiful after returning them not - koyi faraq nehi padta.

• When Arnav came with all hope to take Khushi back home, Arnav said, " You can not lie to me." It reflected his thought when Khushi said she was happy from his and La's engagement. When Arnav said,"Tum yeh sab hone doge, hamari shaadi aise khatam ho jane doge" and " Iitna easy hai tumhare liye " It seemed as if he was remembering how easily she had recuperated and was distributing sweets after a major heart-break. When Khushi said " Aap Humare yeh sab bato se koyi matlab nehi." seemed like Khushi was speaking what Arnav had told on Diwali. When Arnav said, "Ok sure kuch discuss nehi karte hain sab kuch yuhin katam ho jaane dete hain" It reflected why he came back to speak with Khushi. He probably wanted Khushi to tell him her feelings and them to discuss their relationship to stop it from breaking. However Khushi's reluctance and - hume in saab bato se koyi matlab nehi- made the exact opposite words come out and he broke her heart as if to punish her for not wanting to discuss their relationship.
  

• During the remarriage track when Khushi refused to leave the mandap even after buaji's insistance made me remember this diwali track and how far she had conceded to give priority to her love. During Diwali she did not even give the slightest indication that she was hurt with heartbreak by Arnav. She did not even try to exert her right over him as a person who loved him. She knew Arnav was not going to be happy with Lavanya because he loved her. However since the occasion was making the rest of the family happy she said nothing. She let buaji bully her to concede to getting engaged to Shyam even though she knew she loved Arnav. It seemed at that moment - because at that time she could not answer yes if Arnav asked her, " Bharosa nehi hain mujhpe." She did not trust that Arnav had just announced the engagement in the heat of a moment. But during marriage- she had full faith in him and his love so she stayed put when the entire Raizadas and Guptas wanted her to leave the mandap, when even the fire went off. She in diwali could not stand her family bearing the disgust of her name written with Shyam and during marriage she cared more about her love for Arnav although her mother had just been humiliated by that Dadi in front of guests. No wonder- love did make her strong and trusting the person she loved gave her strength to believe in her own happiness and of course she knew being a sacrificial lamb once gave her and her family nothing except deception and heartbreak.

• Finally at the end of the Shitall track when Khushi wanted to leave Arnav and Arnav said "Tum chup chap chali jaoge sab thik ho jayega. Khushi lets suppose ye sab sach hota to chor ke chali jati mujhe ( If you leave do you persume everything will become the same. If all these were true would you have left me?" It seemed as if he wanted to tell this to her when she fled the engagement scene after Anjali said ' The mitai were made sugarfree for Arnav only." It seemed as if she assumed her silently leaving without saying anything to anyone after she could bear no more of the congratulations Arnav received for his eminent engagement would make everything Ok. And when Arnav said "Agar tum koshish bhi kari gi to bhi hum alag nehi ho sakte- Arnav or Khushi Hamesha saath rahenge." I was remembering how hard he tried to get away from her in the diwali episode and still he could not get away from her. That very night instead of thinking of his upcoming nuptials he was recalling his weakness when he almost kissed Khushi and put on her Payal.

If it was the initial Khushi, the one who worked in the AR Designs, she would have given ASR a piece of his own mind in the middle of the road that night. But this is a different Khushi, a girl head over heels in love with this rakhsas... one side of me couldn't accept she acting that extra chirpy with the one who just squashed her heart without a trace...the one who rather shut the door of her house on his face (although while in the car she said she is happy that he gets to meet her parents!) suited more! if she hid her pain under smile, he does it under anger! Two different defense mechanisms to combat the same emotion! These two are amazingly similarly different! while I understand, Khushi needed to clear her confusion, and he was devilish in hurting her beyond measure, I am still not sure if there would have been a status quo change if he confessed!! Loved the write up Ami. My comments in blue.

Ever since these Diwali epis started, a dialogue from some movie, which I had no clue even which era it belonged to 1950 -2000s, kept popping in my head, which read some thing like "is baar tho amavass bahut lambi thi"!! I tried to recall and recall, but in vain.. but all the heart break Khushi bore and even the pain the inflictor went through kept reminding me ONLY that dialogue... Diwali is a new moon.. amavaas.. total dark ness.. unless some one tries to deliberately bring in some light with diyas! Then I kind of recalled that dialogue could be from "Aandhi".. Suchitra sen's... that Sanjeev Kumar reiterates.. Thanks much Samin , your post gave me that hint and all the ensued discussion on Aandhi! (Pl correct if I am wrong)

What a night!? a girl who felt the amorous touch of her beloved first time and got an annulment as well on the same night but not the first time [as he is being doing that for a while].,the night for which she dressed up in red saree and prepared sweets ,lit brightness around but her own "choti si Duniya"[her small life] couldn't get a glimpse of it and became more darker.

you made me emotional. Khushi's pain is undecipherable.

What a night?When he knows he is wrong"galat" as his eyes are quivering ,cursing and blaspheming him each time by her shattering sight.But Arnav Singh Raiada ko kissi larki se koi fadak nahin padta 'nahin' main galat nahin hoon'..to keep his control intact.

Translation:Not a single girl matters to me'I am not wrong.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:

He left her that night in the rain for punishing her making him lose himself against red beauty and first time felt he was wrong"galat".

He left her in the middle of the road by splashing muddy water because she was successful dodging ASR for Aarti ,and being "galat" [wrong] roamed around by calling her name.He threw her in the middle of the road for pushing her out of his Dimag[mind] where she stirred his strings to make him "kamzore" [weak]to beat up those goons and being wrong ended up putting his protective hand on her.Tonight there is no difference he is shoving her aside by crushing hearts hers and himself too as she completely tranquilized and weaken Arnav Singh Raizada's Dimag[mind] and shattered into pieces his Armored shell which took years to build.How can she do that?"Nahin Arnav Singh Raizada ko kissi larki se koi fadak nahin padta"[No ,not a single girl matters to me]

Is that so then why you can't look away ?Why her tears are still making you "kamzore"[weak] Why this time you want to become weak to hold her desperately as you can't see her shattered but no "itna kamzore nahin hai Arnav Singh Raizada'..Keh eik Larki keh khiyal ko na nikal sake"[No ASR isn't weak that he can't stop thinking about one girl]

But she is not just a thought anymore She is REALITY'which Arnav Singh Raizada does not want to face as he is weak in my eyes'..as this journey of his towards regaining control is going no where'.. So a pure "PEARL' is thrown away again''.

Lets take two steps back Arnav Singh Raizada ,from inveigle state to frightened one ,you were ready to take those scrumptious ,luscious, heavenly, quivering lips in yours with command and you wanted her to look at you while doing that as you stroke her hair and she was ready to give in as she looks back at yours in your response ,in her innocence without even realizing it but you both came back to REALITY for say but you were still in that stance as you took steps back keeping your gazes at her as it was the moment you wanted to show her "tum se fadak padta hai mujhe"[you matters to me] as in evidence you stayed there in that delusional state and then gave her back that intense look after seeing her state as your heart says "you do matter to me ..but I'm sorry [I know tumhain yeh sab shaadi se phele" is reflecting here some where] because Arnav Singh Raizada can't be weak in Love.

how much he denies, he knows Khushi is important,

Pondering connected Dots:But his heart beat will stop when she will be someone's else just like the Rangoli day and that day "mujhe fadak padta hai kyuonkeh.."[It matters to me] is not far away'

Love of Khushi will be his biggest strength of all as she will be standing right besides his mother where he couldn't place anyone else not even Di.Mother's garden.

What a night? where his eyes never left her in passion or in abhorrence ,If ASR is back so is Khushi with tears...which always make him "Kamzor" weak!...Unbearable pains for both of them,If its hard for her to leave so is impossible for him to watch her going away.If her steps are refusing to leave him ,his pondering eyes are doing the same.Seriously iss pyar ko kya naam doon''..

Khushi in gripping agony says to La,"Aap ne jaisa chaha'jise chaha aapko mila" in return of her asking twice.."tum mere liyeh Khush tou ho na".Khushi as usually hiding her pain behind her strength "smile" but today even smile is not getting any light from this night "I am so happy for you" '.."Bas yeh soch kar ajeeb lag raha hai keh ab aap ko humari zaroorat nahin padegi" [Its strange you won't need me anymore] How beautifully she declared her success in La' win but La can't get this as its Khushi not her he is announcing to be with'..Khushi gives her assurance by hug and with a broken smile for herself behind tears'..which are shedding on someone's heart.But I love this girl here as her cold attitude and ignorance now making him to seek the real Khushi behind this mask as no one can fool The Mighty ASR.Love the taste of your own meds now.

Khushi is vulnerable. so she can't hide her pain behind her smile.

Pause here:"yeh tou Khushi keh aansoo hain Lavanya keh aansoo tou Lavanya ki ankhon mein honge".[yes these are Khushi's tears because La's tears will in la's eyes] Future indication '

Earlier gloated behavior changes into regret now.He just gulps down her unanswered painful questions which are flowing through her tears but there is a hint of surprise '"kiss mitti ki bani hai yeh" [what kind of girl is that]as she is delivering sweets under smilely mask of vivacious and chirpy KKG.He was seeking he real Khushi behind the mask.His astonishment changes into perplexity when Mamiji indicates Khushi's last day at work.She will not be here anymore'.hmmm

Mami's words made him realize that he will not see Khushi any more.

Love mamiji here ,her salvo hits him badly'

Khushi keeping her chin up,"hum apne kam mein safal huwe'ab humain yahan se'.[I am successful in my task and now from here'] ends up in front of him as she wants answers as "nahin understand"'.but'..got a long pause as million questions and answers were explored in this stance facing each other bidding goodbye'..and now its unbearable for her to be "kamzore" [weak] in front of this 'Rakshus'LaadGoverner'.her Arnavji'.and she leaves giving him the taste of her "meve ka halwa" which she made only for Arnavji'.[not for Rakshus or LG] but through Anjali regardless of the reminder by La "ASR does not eat sweets".

Pause here: Khushi did fool everyone but Arnav while freezing in front of him and he wanted so alone time with her at that moment'..and at the top she gets more chirpier when Arnav found out she made special sweets only for him which showed him the extent of Khushi's concerns and care for him.[at this point he knows she loves him]The expression on Arnav's face when Khushi leaves without even looking at him ..closing the door of paradise on his face!

he knows very well that she loves him, that's why he is scrutinizing her every moves and getting hurt along with her.

And that makes Arnav to leave for her to seek answers now and of coarse for her safety but with ASR BG score..But time and tides waits for none.as when answers were needed he was mum'and when he wanted to give answers permission was not granted'..[love her for that]

Pause here:Our Slouchy Scorpion is being cupid here as he calms the family one more time by favoring Arnav and buying time for him.I wanted him punished so badly by man handling two important assets of ASR'Anjali and Khushi''but my wish never came true.

Khushi with her tiny steps with distance of mileage in her mind with "nahin undrstand" to connect the dots [as she knows he has fallen for her and now is behind the mask]'and here he joins in to increase these distances more.

Pause here:Love the exchange of looks here as she asks him what the heck you are doing here and he is saying how can I leave you like that'.So hubby and wifey look'

Khushi avoidingly,"nahin '.hum chale gyenge"[No I will go by myself]

Arnav imperviously and unyielding practicing his right ,"Shut up and sit in the car'"

Tonight he wants to push her way far by breaking her completely but her safety is still upmost duty for him as this is his right too'.what a night and what a man?He opens the door and waits for her and she listens and follows.From Nainital he owns her and she obeys.BG score changes in their meeting notes'.

true, how much he denies, his subconscious mind knows Khushi do matter a lot.

Both of em stealing gazes in this awkwardness .Khushi with perplexity,"I forgot to congratulate you'..Congratulations for your engagement with La"

Khushi with enigma, "are hum khush kyuon nahin honge .hum bhi tou yahi chate thay"[why shouldn't I be happy?

Arnav mockingly and sarcastically , "oh really so you wanted this'..

Khushi trying diverting the subject,"Why wouldn't be I happy'.and its good you are leaving me home'Amma and Bauji will be happy to hear that too'." He can feel the complexity of her pain as she wants to be with her parents and it brings one layer on his face but he is on mission to gain control of ASR over Arnav so he does not stop there.

Arnav pinning her down to find the answers ,"Todi dair phele tum Khuch pooch rahi theen'..apni payal keh bare mein"[you were asking me about your payal ]

Khushi with affliction and throes and trying hiding the severity of it,"Oh ! that ..that is nothing]

How could a man be like this cold and shrewd on a mission to shatter a girl like this.He knows it matters to her as he has seen this in her eyes ,he has felt that in her every move and even her heart beat says that but he is adamant to make her realize that it matters to me or not but it does matter to you , because she is the one who could break the shell of ASR and because she has guts to ask and corner him with "nahin understand'samjhaeye humain"[I don't understand .make me understand] the MIGHTY ASR had no answer'..hmmm'..not so shatir in my eyes...

I also couldn't believe how he became so inexorable. what I think, ASR wanted to hear from her mouth that she loves him. Really don't know. My sexy boy is too complex.

Arnav by taking and digging daggers in hearts,"tout um apni payal keh bare nahi janna chahti"[so you don't want to know about your payal]

Khushi in abhorrence avoiding and diverting his questions purposely being deaf about the matter,"Naniji ne tou kaha keh roca hoga aur bohat jaldi shaadi hogyegi'..Lavanyaji tou bohat khush hongi..aur waise bhi aap dono ki jori kitni aachi lagati hai'.

Translation: Naniji said your wedding rituals will be soon with marriage and above all you and La look so good together]

Arnav by halts the car vehemently ,"Get out"

Khushi silently in perplexed state keeps staring at him'..

Arnav commandingly," dekh kya rahi ho'.I said get out"[What are you looking at I said get out]

Khushi looks at him helplessly which provides him power as he thinks regardless internally he is shattering more than her but his blatant actions are helping him in this mission to keep her away .

She looks out side and realized her destination has arrived during the web of deception she was weaving,He did bring her home unlike last times ,[loop is closing here he will never leave her abandoned] He helps her removing her belt but not her saree"s palu and she steps down crying bitterly as she can't be strong anymore ,the mask slips away showing aching and broken Khushi,and her "kamzori" is making him strong.He with his coldness just keeps watching her un grappling her Dupatta[sarees palu] which always wants his proximity.As Khushi tugs to free herself , Arnav watches Khushi's raw face, A denuded face of deception, A face reflecting her love for him, A face reflecting her despair, her affliction at the news of his hovering engagement with La ...He had come in search of answers.. and he got one !!

very well said. he is more than sure how hurt she is to hear his engagement with La.

She runs her home with her choti si duniya filled with tears and she knows more is awaiting for her at home too''.but his eyes are not willing to leave her yet '. [This Tycoon does not deserve her but he is in the same pain as she is or may be more .my heart goes for both but today Khushi's tears are making me to punish him]

I am with you my friend. I know he is hurt too, but my heart is with Khushi today.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Today he is furious to return her wallet but he will be glad to have an opportunity to see Khushi and tell "haq hai .tumhara.mujh par"[You have full right on me]

What a night? where his eyes never left her in passion or in abhorrence ,If ASR is back so is Khushi with tears...which always make him "Kamzor" weak!..Just like now he was gulping the pain while watching her coldly and shrewdly...

THE NIGHT

This was a night like no other

Turmoil of emotions witnessed by none other

From a night of passion, it turned into one of distraught

Happiness for all, but for the two, only misery it brought

Moments of attraction created a repelling effect

Enormities of desires lead to a decision inept

This was a couple in love, meant to be together

But a night like this they had dreamt of never

One was the receiver; the other, the giver of pain

One was confused; the other had control to gain

One denied to confess; as the other denied to earlier

Both wearing masks to hide from each other

As they stood under the moonlit sky

Forgetting each other, such a worthless try

Both in pain, pining for each other

Both agreed to be engaged, but alas, with some other
