I've read on a few threads people talking about this supposed slap. I haven't read any articles on it or seen any segments/ photos that verify asad will do this but I seriously hope he doesn't. As much as tanveer deserves to be slapped, punched, beaten, and throw out of the house, I don't want asad to be the one to do it. How can we forget that he raised his hand to zoya? I would never forgive a character that is shown raising his hand at a woman no matter how upset he is but somehow I found myself somewhat understanding asad. The ONLY reason being bc his ammi had been shot and was fighting for her life. Also, unlike his other rash judgments, at that time, him assuming it was zoyas fault was actually logical. She created problems at Mariam's nikkah, she withheld telling him that Mariam was in his house, and so at that point when the gunman came and shot dilshad it made sense for asad to think it was related to Mariam and therefore zoyas fault. This was the only situation where his jumping to conclusions had logic. In every other situation it did not. So as unforgiving as I am against male violence against women, this is literally the only situation where I would forgive a man.

BUT, if he is shown hitting tanveer, it will tarnish his character. It will make it seem like he has a pattern for raising his hand regardless of ow justified he may be. If anything I want dilshad to slap tanveer and then asad to destroy her (by either sending her to jail or destroying her financially) for trying to hurt his zoya and creating misunderstandings. I think that will show more strength in his character. Raising your hand at women is unjustified no matter what. I can forgive you once because of the situation you were in when you did it to zoya but I cannot help but judge you if you do it again, regardless of how much the other person may deserve it.

Either way, tanveer chapter needs to be closed I hate her so much.

As much as I want tannu to get slapped, I like this answer! I don't want Billi to matter much for Asad.

It's not about who means more. It wasn't okay for him to hit zoya bc she means so much to him and he has that haq. It was okay bc it was logical for him to assume she was the cause for his ammi fighting life and death. There was no romantic emotions behind that slap. Had it been anyone else he would have done the same perhaps even worse.

Whether he was justified in hitting zoya is about the facts he had at the time and morals, not about romantic emotion. And it should be the same when it comes to tanveer. If he hits her, we should not be upset bc we think he did it bc she means something to him. But we should be upset bc the Cvs are making it seem like it is okay for a man to hit a woman. Do you not think there is something inherently wrong with a supposedly positive character being portrayed in this way? I fail to understand how hitting zoya is being romanticized in the minds of many viewers.

I am totally against a man raising a hand on a woman NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS!!! I didn't approve or like it when he did it the first time.

However since the CV's have shown him raising his hand once due to his love for his ammi then if he raises his hand on Tannu it would mean he loves Zoya just as much as his mom and she is just as important to him as his mom.

Wut do u think?

I thought of this analysis but here's my take on it. When he finds out about tannu, I don't believe zoya will be physically hurt or fighting for her life. So although he will be incredibly pissedoff, that fear of losing her will not be present like it was with his ammi. So I think if he doesn't hit tannu, that doesn't mean he lves zoya less than he loves his ammi. It just means he isn't fighting with the same fear that he was when he hit zoya. But at least by not hitting tannu he can grow as a character. Thoughts?
