His Monologue [from Rey's point of view.]
"I'm late again." I paid the cab and ran towards the office elevator. My office is on 22nd floor. It normally takes 3-4 minutes to reach my desired floor. But unlucky me whenever I'm running late it happens to me. The elevator gets stopped in almost every floor. I cursed all the people who are getting up in my elevator. Why do they even need it when I'm running late? Can't they use stairs? I desperately wish I were Superman so that whenever I'm late I would fly to my office. As I reached 22nd floor I was greeted by my colleagues but I was running towards my cubical to finish the blueprints. I had to finish those to my lady Hitler boss within half an hour and I've started to doubt if I can finish those in time. Damn that movie and damn that hot heroine of the movie who is responsible for me sacrificing the last few hours of my work. All the thoughts were raining in my mind while I bumped on something rather say someone.
"you dumbass." An angry female voice pierced through my ears. Oh No! It's Taani. I collided with her while she was drinking water. It caused remaining water of the bottle to spill over front of her white shirt. Already I'm late now I have to hear her nonsense. From the day I've arrived Manhattan and this office I had to tolerate her.
"Hey! Have you left your eyes in India?" She shouted again.
"Listen I'm sorry. Now please excuse me I've to finish my work soon." I tried to walk past her.
"you're such a manners less jerk." She snapped crossing her hands on chest. "you've ruined my shirt and now you're throwing attitude."
"listen Taani, I said sorry and apologizing again cause I don't have time to waste on you."
"Firstly it's Miss Shekhawat for you and you're the one who is wasting my time. Now I've to change it."
I noticed other stuffs of the office crowded around us to see the fight show. But none dares to interfere. It is already known to them Taani is a wild cat. She won't stop until she wants to. Only one person can help me to get out of this mess. Ryan Grey. Ryan where are you.
"Hey what's going on?" Ryan said coming between us.
"Ryan this jerk has ruined my shirt."
"I apologized." I defended myself.
"so you called that apologizing?" Taani's voice was even louder.
"both of you shut up." He succeeded to make Taani shut her mouth.
"you go and finish your work." He said looking at me before shifting his gaze on Taani. "you, go to your locker and change your shirt. Else you'll get cold." He said ushering Taani. I mouthed thank you looking at him.
Let me introduce you with Ryan. Ryan Grey was my batch mate when I was in Brown University studying architecture. Then we joined this office on the same day and we share an apartment. From the very first he has been a very helpful friend. Apart from this in opinion of my female colleagues he's the hottest man of our office. Rarely did I find him not encircled by bunch of ladies. I even suspect our boss is having a crush on him. The Hitler lady becomes sweet as honey whenever she talks to him. The lady never praises anyone but Ryan. I won't deny that sometimes even I'm jealous on him. How does he always manage to grab attention of ladies?
Uff!! This Taani girl has made my life miserable. I thought playing with the pencil. Every day we clashed with each other. And the number of clashing increased when she started to work with Ryan and me in the same project. Now it seems like my day is incomplete without arguing with her.
"so did you complete your blueprints?" Ryan broke my chain of thoughts.
"huh?"
"your blueprints.. you gotta submit it to boss." He described.
"Oh Shit!" I exclaimed." I wasted 15mintues in fighting with Taani and next 15minutes thinking about her.
"what? You didn't finish it yet?" He said, horror filled in his voice.
"Please Ryan help me!" I pleaded. "Please take this to boss. You know she never scolds you. If I go there I'm dead." After a few minutes he agreed reluctantly. As he entered Boss the Hitler's cabin I kept standing outside waiting. After almost 10 minutes he came out and handed me the blueprints. "she agreed to give us one more day.
"thank you. You're really awesome." I said in glee.
"now go and don't start to indulge yourself with any movie and hot heroine in it."
I spotted Taani now in a red shirt passing by. She looked at Ryan and smiled sweetly then turned towards me with daggering gaze.
"how do you bear her 24*7 and keep your calm." I said to Ryan in a disgusted tone.
"come on Rey. She is not that bad. She's a nice and independent girl." Ryan said sitting in his chair while I chose to lean over the table.
"she's snobbish, bossy, adamant, hell irritating.." before I could give all the adjectives Ryan cut me.
"Beautiful, awesome and intelligent.."
"Ryan you back stabber jerk." I punched lightly on his left shoulder.
"me?" He rolled his eyes in confusion.
"yeah you! Praising the enemy of friend is a serious back stabbing." I stated as he gave me a 'you're hopeless' kind of expression.
"Hello Ryan!" It was Gwen, One of our dumb blond coworker.
"Hi Gwen." He said looking at her. "do you need anything?"
"You like Starbuck caramel cappuccino no? So I thought bringing you one and I know you like macrons from Ladure. So this too is for you." She said handing him a Starbuck takeaway cup and a box full of macrons.
"Thank you Gwen." He flashed a smile. "anything else?" He asked again seeing Gwen is still standing.
"yes.. no.. yes.." She inhaled air. "if you're free will you come to lunch with me today?"
As Ryan answered he's busy today Gwen left half heartedly.
"do you know black magic?" I asked him.
"Excuse me?" he was completely puzzled.
"no girls ever gave me coffee and macrons for free and asked me for a lunch." I said in a breath.
"Reyansh go and do your own work and let me do mine." He said concentrating on the blueprints. As I started to leave he stopped me by calling my name.. "Rey.."
"what?"
"I arranged a date for you at 8 in The Carlyle Restaurant. Don't be late."
"with whom?" I lift an eyebrow.
"with someone who really likes you but feels extremely shy to say." He said looking at the blueprints. "don't be late and please leave your attitude while on date."
"ok. But you should know I don't have faith that you have not picked a boring date for me." I said and left for my cubical.
I was sitting on our reserved table watching the menu card, waiting for my date. After almost 10 minutes she reached and greeted me. I put the menu card down to look at her and got a huge shock. The girl with most beautiful eyes but who always looks at me with daggering gaze. The girl with the million dollar smile but just can't stop her mouth from shouting on me.
I couldn't understand what to do, what to say.. I just kept looking at her angelic face. This is the first time I'm watching her in a gown and in gorgeous make up. After a few minutes of awful silence I said "you look beautiful."
On the very same moment my mobile beeped as a sms received on it. It was from Ryan. He wrote "Have a wonderful evening."

Her side of story [From Taani's point of view.]
I changed into a red shirt and check if my bun is on its right place. He's such a stupid guy. I kept thinking how many times I've clashed with him and I lost my count but still remember the first clash of ours. He is a jerk who can't even argue properly sometimes. Most of the time he says something funny, which causes me to confuse on how to win the battle.
"so you ready to go?" Imagination of my bubble got broken when I heard Ryan's voice. I totally forgot I have to go to the plot with him after the lunch.
"yes I'm." I managed a smile. I just cannot believe it I've wasted so many hours thinking about Reyansh.
"I'm gonna drive." I said sliding into the driver's seat before Ryan can protest. "put on your seat belt. We're gonna have a rush drive."
"do whatever you want just don't get us into an accident." He stated and leaned on the seat looking out of the window.
"Ryan may I ask something?" I said as I stopped the in a red signal.
"Go ahead."
"How do you tolerate Reyansh? He is a pain on ass."
He laughed in reply then said, "he's not that bad Taani, trust me he's a nice person."
"He's snob, manners less, arrogant.." All the way I kept blabbering on how bad he is and continuously kept pressuring him to say what Rey says and thinks of me.
Within two hours we finished our work at the plot. As he offered me to drop at my place I happily accepted his offer. The way to my home was not different than our way to the plot. I kept go on and on saying the same thing. Finally I reached my home.
"Thank Ryan for the lift." I said getting out of the car and closing the door.
"Hey Taani."
"what?" Bending down to the level of the car window to meet his eyes I asked.
"well I've arranged a date for you at 8 in The Carlyle Restaurant. Don't be late." He grinned.
"date for me?" I rolled my eyes. "but with whom?"
"someone who is crazy for you but never dared to tell you." He winked. "Just don't be late."
I slipped into a long black backless mermaid gown before going to my date destination. For the traffic I was late by 10 minutes. I find my date was already sitting on the table with the menu card.
"Hello! Sorry for being late." I said smiling. The he looked at me. This caused me to lost words. The guy with chocolate colored eyes, with whom I get clashed almost every hour but can't imagine a day without arguing with him."
"Reyansh!" I only managed to utter his name in a voice little more than a whisper. I could not understand what to say, where to start, I couldn't even understand how to behave.. Should I behave sweetly or be normal.. For the first few minutes I kept glued on my chair without even moving a finger. Then he spoke in a stylish manner. "you look extremely beautiful."
On the very same moment my mobile beeped as a sms received on it. It was from Ryan. He wrote "Have a wonderful evening."

Monologue of a third person [from Ryan's point of view]
As a spy of mine informed me they are enjoying each other's company I texted them saying enjoy the evening.
I must say I've never seen such stupid like them. Reyansh always kept jabbering to me on how much a bitch Taani is just to know what Taani says about him and Taani does exactly the same thing. They throw attitude on each other just to grab attention and shout like hell cause for them it is the only way to talk to each other.
All of the stuffs of the office even our boss noticed the burning chemistry between them but themselves. And I was the one who was being sacrificed in clash of these idiot Titans. I never liked tricking someone to do something but this time the tricky way was the right way.
Here comes hiring the spy part. I knew a few of my coworkers have a crush on me and Gwen was one of them. I never thought I'll use this power of mine but this time I had to. When I asked Gwen if she is ready to do me a little favor I'll go on a lunch date with her. Well it was much easier than I thought. She agreed without any question. I must say she's doing the spy job really well by giving me updates of every minute.
After almost two hours when Gwen texted me saying they are sharing a passionate kiss putting own tongue in others throat I texted them again saying "congratulation for enjoying the evening."
Finally my job is done. Now I've to wait for them to get marry each other. Hey! I should wait or I should trick them into getting married soon?
