Whith this in mind, the actor embarked on shopping sprees, consulted stylists and even spend hefty wads of his own moolah to get the kind of clothes and accessories he considered spot on for the role. Expaains Manoj, "I was very keen that my character in Kasauti... exuded style and looked convincing, so I knew I couldn't wear a conventional suit or regular T-shirts or the usual kind of shirts. They couldn't be typical outfits so I wound up designing my own clothes!" It worked these days you've got to "look" for recognition!
