Hello everyone, this is an appreciation post. 😊
It is a heart-felt THANK YOU to everyone involved in making of this beautiful show!
A THANK YOU full of gratitude for presenting the story of Saras and Kumud with such brilliance and wonderful poise!

This is not my first post in this forum. I was a regular here in the initial weeks of the show. But then exams happened!!! They are over now...and the first thing I did was finish watching all the pending episodes from mid-March till the last one on Friday. After 3 days of a marathon, you can say that I am a bit high on SC right now. 😃

Watching all the episodes in one go...I just realized how brilliant this show is! Really, I never felt even a tiny urge to forward even a single scene. The story is layered and has immense depth. The actors are supremely talented. And the presentation is like a movie.👏
If I could...I would love to write on many of the episodes here. But instead of individual scenes...I decided to make this single post to appreciate the brilliance of this show as a whole!😳

Starting with, a Huuuggeee Thank-you to SLB and his team for deciding to bring this story on our TV screens. Each and every scene is marked with the perfection of Bhansali's stamp. The sets of the haveli is incredibly beautiful and awesome. 👍🏼

A round of applause to the talented and competent team of writers. We have seen many literary adaptions in the past, both in movies and Tv. I have never read the original Gujarati novel. But from what I have heard...the show has been more or less true to the story. Regardless of that, as a neutral viewer...SC is one of the most beautiful stories I have seen on TV in recent times. The journey of SaMud that they have shown is so subtle but yet so endearing.❤️

Next in line, the beautiful Jennifer Winget Grover. By sheer co-incidence, I have always seen her in Papa's Little Princess roles. With each role, I have only seen her grow as an actress.😳
In Kasauti, she was the adorable and cute Sneha, the apple of the eyes of Mr. Bajaj.
In DMG, she was the simple and pretty Riddhima, the dutiful daughter of Shahshank Gupta.
And here in SC, she is pride of Vidyachatur as Kumud.😛

I do not think I have enough words to fully do justice of how amazingly talented Jenny is. Apart from the captivating promos, JW was one more reason I started watching this show. I remember how annoyed I was at Kumud when she was hell-bent on not showing her face to Saras. And now, I couldn't help but smile as she sat near the ringing phone refusing to answer the call as Mr. Methi ka Laddoo kept on trying the phone😆 This pretty lady can make the viewer feel an array of emotions!!! No wonder Saras can't resist her charm😳

And now coming to the man himself, Gautam Rode. I have seen him grow as an actor with every passing episode. In the start, he seemed a bit stuck-up. But that was his character! As he came to Gujarat, I just kept falling in love with Saras each day. GR has been playing the role of Saras with perfect finesse. With such a layered and complex character, Gautam has delivered each emotion of pain, angst, love, loss, anger, hurt, adoration, happiness. He has breathed life into the character of Saras. 👏

Vidyachatur, Guniyal, Dugba, Badi bhabhi, Lakshminandan, Kusum, Kumari, Sunny -- I love the whole ensemble cast. The actors are perfect for their respective roles. And each character adds a richness to the core story.😳

A special word for Monica Bedi - the lady is beautiful. I remember seeing her in Big Boss and would always complement her clear flawless skin. But SC has made me realize she has amazing hair too. Open, tied or a loose bun - all the hair styles suit on her. She looks stunning in both western wear and Indian sarees. The character of Guman is downright evil, but Monica is a very pretty lady.😳

All in all, I am in love with every aspect of the show. Hope that was not too long. 😆

What a well constructed post! I believe your post did justice to the show itself! 😊

You're very right. There are a lot of analysis, gutter, ainvay posts on this forum, and an odd appreciate post always makes me smile because really, to produce such a quality show, even for the first 50 episodes is very commendable. And we don't give the crew and cast enough credit for their hard work! Without their efforts to breathe life into each character, give them so many dynamics and dimensions, it would be very easy to make such a legendary novel a crappy show... but this is NOT the case, and it is all due to the very lovely and noticeable efforts of all cast and crew! 😳

Thank you for your post once again! 😃

Thank you for the much needed post.
We tend to forget the hardwork of the people who are behind the scenes.
