Worst allegation turned action ? Anupam Kher

Anupam Kher's removal as chairman of the Censor Board rose more than a few hackles. Kher made a lot of noise before Sharmila Tagore took over. The UPA government removed Anupam Kher as Censor Board chief for his alleged RSS connections. Kher sued CPI (M)'s Harkishen Singh Surjeet for alleging that he (Kher) was an ?RSS man' and had saffronised the censor board in his capacity as the chairman. The court asked Mr. Surjeet to appear on January 27.
