@BoldBlack - I really feel that Madhu no more consider herself RK's wife anymore and she don't consider herself 'suhagan' too...may be in her views the RK who is her love and husband is dead on the unwed day.

Its very much clear that she is not just on mission 'teach RK lesson' but is on mission to take revenge on RK. She is equally egoistic as RK, rather her ego is bigger than RK. Only thing is that she tried to tolerate RK's deeds to some extent and only start reacting this way on reaching the tolerance level. If it was only a teaching a lesson and if she really loves RK n wanted spend life with him peacefully after completion of her mission there wasn't any need to avoid the rituals but by avoiding this pooja (water pouring on fire which indicates that the fire...the love..the passion..feelings for RK has been subsided in her mind now) she clearly conveyed that she no more interested in RK...may be her love for RK is very very weak now...if we assumes that she still loves him.

And I am still not able to understand what 'sankar' and 'maryada' Paddo n Madhu keeps talking about? If we consider, Madhu is no more married to RK, then how come she is staying with him and that too in one bedroom? What if being in one bedroom goes wrong...where is 'maryada'?
How come Madhu going out n declare that she loves RK? Where are 'sankar' here?
If Paddo n Madhu knows n understand the meaning of Maryada n Sankar then there are many many things which they need to avoid. But these ladies used their so called 'values' aaccording to their convenience.

We are not yet known..whats Madhu's future plans? What she is going to do after her mission? Do she wanted to part ways completely? Or do she forgive his deeds and come back to him forever? We only know that she planned to teach a lesson..she wants him to show him mirror and make him realize that he is not GOD...what type of lesson and how?

Since she came back to RK she was showering lot of love on RK...hugged him passionately but after that suicidal attempt there is big change in her...lame hugs came in picture and this time from Madhu's end. So whats the reason for this? How come she suddenly feels awkward in RK's hug? Why she is not hugging him now? Is it because she started to see that RK is in pure love with her and she is cheating him? Or is it because she got the idea that now RK is trusting her and she can run her plan successfully so awkward in hugs? Such lame hugs only happens when you are not truly with the other person...this is what going on with Madhu. She is TRULY not with RK now.

Probably next week we will be able to see through Madhu's real mission...As Bhai is coming in to the picture. It seems we will be able to get clear picture only when Bhai starts his obsession and interference in Madhu's life.

I feel your personal relationship with God has nothing to do with participating in the rituals, pujas or ceremonies. These events are not supposed to be individual but are conducted in a social setup where many people gather together in the name of the God so to speak. The Puja that Radhaji wanted Madhu to do was not for her personal benefit alone but for the wellbeing of the entire house, to maintain and increase the peace and harmony in the entire household which is desparately needed right now.
I think Madhu implicitly understands what Radhaji is asking her to do and I believe she does want to do it out of the goodness of her heart. However her own personal beliefs about right and wrong are conflicting her. She cannot point blank refuse Radhaji for what reason does she have? Can she say oh I don't feel like doing it because I don't have any patni like feelings for your son? No. She also cannot say I really don't want any peace in this house. She is feeling like a trishanku right now and hence her hesitation to deceive her MIL with whom she has no beef so to speak. She could not outright insult Radhaji in front of so many of her friends either. So she really had no way out but to sit for Puja and pouring water however inadvertently saved the day for her.

This is just my POV. I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings about rituals or God or any such thing.

Madhu could have saved the day by feigning a raging headache and insisting that Deepali carries out the pooja being the elder bahu while she sits in a corner. Or she could have been creative and come up with some other excuse.

My problem is with her handling the situation in a way that it became embarrassing for Radhaji and gave all the women there a lot to gossip over. It takes less than two seconds to understand whether it is water or ghee you are pouring in a fire. One of the ladies did remark to Radhaji while leaving that 'aapki bahu ko aisa nahin karna chaahiye tha'. Whatever issues you have within your family, you don't make a tamaasha in front of outsiders. I have an issue with Madhu here because she chose to hurt Radhaji over hurting her own conscience.

Agree with you. What can I say. Our Madhu, irade achhe hain lekin what will be the consequences or results of her actions, is not well thought out. Her decisions are based on her own righteousness which can end up hurting the very same party she is trying to protect.

it doesn't sit well with her character either...she is supposed to be this same person for whom others' feelings came before her own...so i dont get it...

anyway she was smart enough when she had first entered rk mansion...all that emptying alcohol bottles n stuff...she can behave smart n make excuses...so now her brains caught a flight to mars?
