Guys night out

It was definitely a guys' night out for the Vyas men. Thanks to Kumud's creative touch of getting the beds out for three, then making up an excuse for her dad to go inside. What I loved was the subtle but effective way she brought father and son closer. Saras got to be tucked in by his dad LN and his hair stroked. It was the best medicine for his wounded heart. Kumud who before said things which upset him, even called him a coward has now come full circle. She has patched things up with the prince and king of Dubai. First by spilling the water onto the chair and then getting them outside underneath the stars. Shabash, Princess!!

I felt so very happy for Saras. Just the look on his face while LN was describing his personality, and then when he got a proper tuck-in was enough to make the happiest gal on earth! Very smart play by Kumud!

Saras initially got nervous at the idea of having to sleep alone with his dad LOL Then he had his back at his father when he was talking to him..but this time he was attentive and absorbing everything.. unlike other times when he mechanically listened to him without reacting.. the joy on his face every time his father called him ''son'' was priceless.. Its important for parents to critique our actions but its also important for them to assure the child of the confidence and trust they have on us.. they both felt the connection for the first time.. I loved the dialogue where LN says ''You have always obediently listened to me all these years ( whether I was right or wrong) , why did you not listen to me this time ? ( when he knows he took the right decision for Saras) that shows the genuine concern of a father worried for his son losing a golden opportunity to have the best possible life partner he could have hoped for..
