Yes, RK did not expect Madhu will actually jump. So when she asked him whether he will trust her, he said that he would for who wouldn't trust after that. Whe she repeated her question, he shrugged it off saying "Biwi, tum bhi na" as though she wouldn't really dare to do it. Now that she has and scared the sh***t out of him, he will be wary of expressing his doubts about Sultan lest he looses her forever. So even if he suspects and maybe even knows that she is playing with his feelings, I think he will let himself be played. His jealousy will, however, make him more watchful to keep Sultan at bay.

Yes and no ...there is some progress here in terms of RK. From Madhu's perspective, RK does not trust emotions...it is something intangible for him and the reason he does not feel the her pain and belittles it is because he blocks his emotions. To him they are foolishness and a tool to be used .

What he does understand is loss...but then how is he supposed to understand the fear or pain of loss if he believes he has nothing to lose and he controls everything. She has put the fear of God and loss in him by her crazy act. For a minute he felt the emotions of fear and pain acutely...he now knows that there are consequences to his actions ...he might not be able to control the outcome of certain things and lose something very dear to him.

While on surface it was a love test but it was more about connecting him to his emotions. I mean who would ask such a thing of thier beloved and then scoff at her hesitation. He is so jaded that he does not think anyone would be emotional enough to do something so crazy. He believed that he controlled the outcome of thier challenge.

From an impact perspective...RK now sees Madhu in a new light. I am not sure he believes in her love yet but he knows he cannot push her beyond a certain limit. He sees that she thinks that her emotions are worth risking her life. He is also forced to accept that he cares for her deeply..I also think that he felt her shock, her disgust and her pain at the core of his being. It al leads up to a circumstance where he will be guilty for his actions and be ready to let her walk out for her happiness.

Well after a long and tiring day I love catching up with Rishu&Madz scenes. I am not gonna debate on the fact that RK should be like that Madz should do this ... I watch this show for DVD/MRK without trying to find any logic or sense in the storyline (which barely exist in daily indian soaps...!).
