I really liked that the dowry issue was dealt with in a wholistic manner, rather than a hero/ heroin coming to the wedding, giving a lecture and resolving the problem in a dramatic manner. Here they tackled it step- by- step, showing growth in Purvi's character, in a more realistic and sensible way. They also gave everyone a spine- Purvi's father who stopped the wedding, Purvi herself having guts to break off the wedding and refusing to bend under pressure, her fiance convincing his parents and coming back to marry Purvi without dowry. ChhanChhan and her family supported Purvi but the final decision regarding her life was always taken by Purvi. The way it should be. We all are ultimately responsible for our lives.Looking forward to see what other issues this show will address and hope they deal with them in the same sensible manner.

This.I hate when the heroine comes up randomly and lectures everyone and suddenly everything seems okay afterwards. Things don't happen that quickly. People's ideas don't change overnight. They progress slowly.
