There are a few points from past few episodes i want to make
Saras was upset because as he played the game with Kumud he remembered his mother. Physically he was there but mentally he was playing that game with his mother not with Kumud. That is why like in childhood he felt so happy winning that bone(handkerchief).
It is traumatic for a child to lose his mother when he is in primary school at age of 6 or 7 but what is more traumatic for Saras is that she killed herself in front of his eyes but because he was a child he could not save her. He tried following her but could not.
Many people criticise Saraswati for dying leaving her child alone but we do not know what sort of pressure LNV and Guman put on her to die. Why do we assume that she willingly died? Why could it not be that LNV or Guman taunted her that till she is alive they cannot be one and hence she killed herself to get out of their path. Indeed we must be thankful that like some selfish parents who kill their children along with them she did not kill Saras. She allowed him to live did not take him with her. Yes she could have committed suicide when Saras was not present but we still have no clue why she committed suicide so we cannot judge her actions.
The next part is Saras. He assumed that he was playing with his mother. He remembered his painful past. I think instead of running behind him and trying to get him to open the door immediately he should be given time to come out on his own wish. Once the pain subsides the person will come out. Sunny understood this and hence told Kumud that Saras will need sometime to come out and that she will have to give him a ear to listen to his hearts pain. Eventually in morning as expected Saras did come out.
I have a big issue why did LNV come to Dukhba's house? How upsetting and humiliating it must be for Dukhba that a person who left her in the marriage hall alone is staying as guest in her house. LNV who is so rich cannot he buy a house or what happened to his parents house in ratnagiri? I did not like this fact anyways logic must be forgotten for serial progress sake.
Last point is Guman and VC knew LNV was coming but never informed Saras. OK so this was a surprise for him. But he did not look happy at all he looked very uncomfortable. And LNV was hugging Guman and VC and Kumud and did not bother to go and hug Saras and put hand on his shoulder asking him how he is for so long away from his father?
I know father-son relationships become complex after sons become big. As a child son-daughter have very close bonding with fathers but as they become big a son becomes more friendly with mother and daughter with both parents. But Saras has no mother so LNV must assume the mothers-fathers both roles in Saras life ideally. But he acts as if Saras is some stranger and VC and family are his real family. If Saras does not take first step for a relationship with his father as an elder and father LNV must forget his ego and give his hand to Saras.
Hopefull Kumud brings them close. There is no love lost in their heart but they do not express. Saras today expressed his love for his father by remembering his favourite dish and LNV was surprised and moved although he never showed it in front of others. Similarly LNV also thinks of Saras good always like arranging his marriage to Kumud but he makes it look like he is ordering saras not sitting and explaining him that it is for his long term good.
If a mother was there she would have done this so now LNV must start becoming a mother to Saras and explain to him why he decided to get him married to Kumud. Because he knows his son is soft and innocent everyone will take advantage of saras after his death so he wants a bold and strong girl to be his wife. So that wife will protect him from this cruel and manipulative world and give him emotional anchoring when needed.
LNV may act like he cares two hoots about saras but he is a very observant and long term thinking father. šššš I forgive him for cheating dukhba and marrying Guman only for that sake because despit all his flaws he cares for saras deeply and has understood saras so well more than any other human till now in the show except sunny may be. Sunny may say LNV did not get close to saras but that is physically in soul level he is closest to saras in this world.
He does not show that that is a different issue. Like i said earlier father's never show their love to sons openly because they are scared of many things like a son will be next head of family so he must be strong hence fathers treat them harshly or indifferently so that he can face the outside bad world boldly, son may spoil if they show love openly and take advantage etc. One person is house must be strict with children usually fathers are strict with sons and mothers with daughters in this world. Similarly mothers spoil their sons with extra love and attention and fathers do the same with daughters.
Dukhba may be a mother to Saras but she has no legal or family rights on him. LNV has all those rights and even an emotional right. He must use it so that saras accepts Kumud. I think LNV will play a big role in saras saying yes to kumud.
