SP has given this no1 show priority for obvious reason.. Its a big banner and SLB's directorial debut on TV. SP has had very few shows in the past or present that have been mounted on this scale. TRP's will come with time.. I agree few promos here n there can help in keeping up the excitement and curiosity .. But no complains with the execution and pace so far,, The history and back story WILL be revealed in detail with time.. we are already getting glimpses of Saras' past... As far as TRP's go, I honestly think that they do not genuinely reflect the quality of the show nor its popularity overseas. I wish there was a way they could count the overseas audience in this system. But since its critical for running the show, I guess people who can watch on TV should watch at 7.30 pm like GR said..

As other people have said, I think they are not doing enough to promote the show whether it is the leads, the channel or the production house.

The leads should be interviewed together in SBS/SBB; just like they do for all the other shows. Why not for this show?? Why are the leads not interested in promoting their own show? Why do they talk negatively about the characters in their interviews? Are they not interested in making sure that the serial succeeds? They do not have to talk about their personal life if they do not want to. In fact it is better that they do not. When leads of other serials are interviewed they are 'in character' when they give interviews. Why not with the leads of this serial??

I cannot believe that the production house and the channel overlook such details.

I don't think we're supposed to take names of other serials but here goes. Even MB serial was getting very low TRP's when it first launched so much so even the lead's wife was requesting everyone to please watch the show. The show picked up after the leads got together and hit 4 when they're in love. I guess all I'm saying is the story has to pick up pace at any cost. I find myself fastfwd some scenes. Episodes tend to drag.

ETA: This serial may be different but please some respite from the emotional scenes is needed.

"aur woh heroine ban jaata hai" 🤣
Is it just me, or is Jennifer the funniest, most sarcastic actress I've seen on Indian television?

Yikes. If Gautam Rode is appealing for more TRPs, that's worrisome. I wish I could help with this situation, but still I will appeal with him. 😒

this worries me too! such a good show will go down the drain if the trps do not go up! why is that whichever show i get emotionally connected starts dropping in trps😡!

I do not agree that romance is a booster for TRP because I have seen few romance-filled shows in the past which didn't go past 1.0 ratings. The topmost serials barring one or two don't have romance as their base they are family dramas. And in fact, for me filler romantic scenes without the emotional build are a put off. glad that the show has maintained it for most parts.
There's actually less dragging than most other shows, the plot runs deep, the dialogues are the best I've seen so far. The only complaint I have is with the lack of use of flashbacks because it would have built a firmer ground for the present to build on. Hope they do it in the upcoming tracks.
Every serial I've been attached to has not hit the top of TRP charts. So, it doesn't create such a big difference to me as a viewer. However, it does pinch to see the rating decrease because apparently it means a lot to the production houses and the channels for whatever reason. it's a bizarre measure really.without being snarky I do not understand how Sasural Simar Ka gets more TRPs than this show. period. I just pray that with the quality still in tact SC manages to cater to the unpredictable palette of TV audience.

kinda agree with you on this...

I love everything about the show except the marketing...

there are rare interview segments and there are jarring notes in these segments too...

I have noticed that most times jennifer makes comments like 'he is the heroine of the show' or 'heroine ki tarah' ...that's witty but also notice a sarcasm here...and you can't keep on saying it all the time...now we know that both she and gautam are not back slapping buddies in real life...but I can never figure out if she is stylishly putting down saras or gautam...and even if it is about saras...the total disconnect during the interview with the character's anguish feels totally out of place...

i have seen segments of QH and the lead pair (you know who) are always 'in character' and try to show they like the show, empathize with the characters they are playig, where's its going etc...

also in a previous segment regarding their bus trip...she was like 'eew its tough working in such costumes in such dirty place etc. etc.', 'meri to band baj gayi', 'mera sar ab tak yu yu kar raha hai'...

hand on heart...i actually cringe when the rare interview segment starts nowadays coz i am expecting something jarring...

also...all SP shows promoted India's dancing superstars last week where the entire cast or lead pair plugged the show...only for SC we had only jennifer and no saras...

I am just hoping this is part of a larger strategy,,,and once these two come together in the story..we will see the jbetter joint interviews in line with the story plot...

hotdogg, u just nailed it! yes, is she trying to be witty or making fun of the character! either way it doesn't work..and seems like she complains more and enjoys less on the sets..and i do see how Gautam tries to be witty and enthusiastic in his interviews, but this time i felt bad for him the way he was promoting the show..i really hope that the show gets trps for Gauti's sake!
