Chapter 23:
The man looked at her.
Asad: Zoya?
Zoya: ASAD!!!
She hugged him tight, leaving no air space between them .
Zoya: I found you Asad! I found you!
He hugged her back.
Asad: You found me Zoya. You really did.
*20 HOURS LATER*
Asad called the driver ahead of time to the airport so that they can have smooth ride home. As they got out of the airport, hand in hand, Asad and Zoya both sat in the car. The driver drove them home safely.
As the reached their house Asad walked in with his suitcase alone. Najma and Dilshad were waiting at the door. As soon as he walked in the smiles and hopes on his ammi's and Najma's face faded away. A few seconds later Zoya walked in smiling as she stood beside him while he held her hand. Dilshad and Najma were shocked and so happy to see that Zoya was with Asad.
Dilshad: ZOYA! You're here?!
Najma: Oh my gosh! Zoya!
Zoya let go of Asad's hand and hugged the two ladies. Asad smiled brightly. It seemed as though everything was perfect.
They all let go from the group hug and hugged Asad as well.
Dilshad: I'm so happy for you Bhai jaan. You got the perfect to- be wife and I got the perfect Bahu (Daughter in law)
Najma: But Zoya is lucky too Ammi, She got a Husband like bhai jaan.
Zoya smiled and blushed a bit as well.
Asad: Nope. I think I'm the luckiest one. I have the perfect ammi, sister and now perfect wife.
Dilshad and Najma 'aw-' ed in unison as Asad and Zoya looked into each other eyes.
Najma: But did you propose to her Bhai jaan?
Asad: Propose?
Dilshad: Yes Asad. You have to propose to her
Asad: Fine I will. But later. Can we at least sit down, or will you question us at the door all night?
Dilshad: Oh yes, Sorry, Sorry. Come in
They all sat at the sofa as Najma made coffee for everyone. They sat and talked about future trips and Asad and Zoya's engagement, wedding etc.
After talking, Dilshad made dinner and everyone sat at the table eating Zoya's favorite food, Pizza. At first Asad hated pizza, but now he was beginning to enjoy eating it.
As they all finished the dinner everyone went to their rooms to sleep.
*2 hours later*
Asad was still awake. He couldn't sleep after the chaos that happened in the last couple of days. He decides to get some warm water as it may make him fall asleep a bit better.
As he walked out of his room he noticed that Zoya had left her room as her door was open. He walked outside and saw the girl of his dreams sitting on the bench looking at the stars.
He walked up slowly, noticing that Zoya was talking.
Zoya: Ammi, I hope you accept Asad. Please always keep your blessings upon us.
Asad walked closer and sat in the bench beside her.
Zoya looked at him, wondering why he was still awake.
Asad looked up at the stars.
Asad: Ammi, I promise I will always keep your daughter happy. I will never bring a tear to her eyes.
Zoya had tears in her eyes. How could she be so lucky that she got the perfect prince charming.
Asad turned and looked at her. He wiped her tears and held her hand. He went down on his knees, holding her hand and looking into her eyes.
Asad: Zoya.
Zoya: hmm
Asad: Will you spend your whole life with me?
Zoya felt like the queen of the world. It was the best question he could of asked her.
Zoya: I don't know. Will you promise teach me more songs on the guitar?
Asad smiled
Asad: Promise.
Zoya: In that case, yes.
They both got up and hugged each other tight.
Asad: I love you Zoya.
Zoya: I love you too.
Precap: *Phone rings*
Zoya: Hello?

Zoya: hello? Who is this?
