TRPs of TV shows remain affected, IPL viewership rises

Cricket dominates: The first 16 games of IPL 6 has registered a 140 million viewership, the highest ever in the last six years. One of the main reasons for this is the Hindi Commentarythat they started this year and also the fact that the matches now are being taken to the smaller cities. Meanwhile, TV serial and reality show TRPs that have been affected by the IPL, remained almost the same as last week.
Khoobsurat fails to take off: Sony TV'sKhoobsurat... hasn't been able to take off from day one. The much-hyped show, that's two months old now, registered a 0.5 TRP this week.
New season: Life OK's 2613, which is the new season of 2612, got 0.5 TRP, less than what the last week of 2612 had got (0.6).
