Judge the MCI Judges!

As we see week after week to realize the MasterChef India is badly scripted, it does no good to see that its judges with such high credibility are also becoming mere pawns in the hands of SP and adding on to the drama...

I agree with you. Vikas is too sweet. Sanjeev Kapoor is the worst. He mixes his emotions with judgement plus not being a natural actor, he should not try to be a D grade one. He can be professional like the other two, especially Kunal who seems very confident and comfortable with his role.

I love kunal,he is helpful,friendly...he can communicate wid anyone n he isn't rude in judging.So he is my fav among three.

Sanjeev Kapoor: I like him as judge. Ya he is strict and rude sometimes, but I think I am quite bored with judges being nice n sweet that I am liking his on your face approach. However, I doubt if I would love it if I were at the receiving end. I won't say he is biased but his dis-likeness to certain person shows in his face.

Vikash Kapoor: He is a accomplished cook and a good judge. He is tooo sweet while passing judgemnet. I agree that we are getting less of him.

Kunal Kapoor: He is the most experienced one, and he is doing good job. But sometimes I wish he should not roam around and confuse people.

I agree - Kunal looks most comfortable in front of the screen and in his role... I get a feeling that even the contestants look up to him the most!

Sanjeev Kapoor - other than the fact that he is rude to the contestants, he comes across as rude. He doesn't judge dishes on their merit, but basis te person who made it. His comments often are unnecessary and he should stop acting. He's a chef and a judge and that's what he should be. This ain't a saas bahu show.

Kunal Kapoor - Often gives interesting tips, but more often than not confuses the contestants. He challenges contestants while the task in on - this could either work to get the best out of the contestant or shatter his confidence. He also tries to be very like Sanjeev Kapoor, which am not sure is a good idea. I'd rather he be himself.

Vikas Khanna - cant decide if he's a judge or host. Hardly judges but always dresses fashionably. Too caring towards the contestants, which takes the aura of being a judge away. Occasionally seems to have a soft spot for the people with difficult lives.


All in all, all the judges have thoroughly disappointed me.

I like all the 3 judges. Kunal is my fav,he is so helpful and seems like a genuine person. I am glad he has judges all three seasons and hope that he continues his run in the coming seasons too.

I did not watch MC2 so watching chef Vikas for the first time. He is good looking, charming and also a gentle person. I agree that he gets lesser screentime than the other two judges. It could probably be because a) he is less proactive than Chef Kunal and b) Sanjeev Kapoor is shown more than him due to his seniority?

I like Chef Sanjeev K too. Don't find him rude or arrogant. And even if he is stricter than the other two, what's wrong with it? He is there to do his work, judge the culinary skills of the contestants and not be pally- pally with them. I think he is doing his job well.

On a side note, those who are saying that he is partial etc, can you make out from his face that he doesn't like certain contestants? I can't. I would honestly like to know who those contestants are, will try to watch his expressions accordingly next time when I see him judging😆 Maybe I haven't been observing keenly enough lol.
