So without further ado;
The Hotel Part 2
Khushi ran to the bedroom sobbing and Arnav groaned in frustration
"DAMNIT!"
Ding! The lift doors opened. Arnav glared at the lift.
What now?!
Arnav groaned again, it was the porter with the rest of the bags.
"Sir, where do you want your bags?"
Arnav was just not in the mood. He narrowed his eyes at the poor porter, and watched as the porter stammered, dropped the bags on the floor and ran back into the lift. (Bicharo...)
Arnav looked at the bags left behind wishing he was telekinetic, because there was no way he was going into that room-at least not without a plan-and he needed to make one fast.
In the bedroom Khushi was lying on the bed hugging several pillows at once, still crying but now her sadness was turning into rage, something she had learned from her dear patti dev. He was going to pay.
How dare he yell at me? He started the whole thing! It's his own fault! Grr!
Khushi repeatedly punched the pillow next to her.
Arnav walked into the room with the first load of bags. Khushi looked up at him, tears streaming down her face.
"Get-" khushi threw a pillow at him
"out!" She threw another pillow.
Arnav ducked just in time, and narrowly missed both of them.
Arnav ignored her and continued to walk into the room.
"I... Mean... It... Get... Out.." Khushi continued throwing pillows at him on each word.
Arnav ignored her again and walked out of the room to get the rest of the bags.
Khushi watched after him in frustration. That did it. It was time to bring out the book.
That's right people... The book. The book that had helped her get through the first six months of marriage. The book filled with ways to annoy Arnav, and at the moment she needed a refreshers course.
Khushi opened her suitcase and began to dig through all the clothes.
she threw the clothes one by one over her shoulder. Some landed on the bed, the others landed on the floor. By the time arnav had come in with the rest of the bags the room looked like a bomb site.
"What the? Khushi what are you doing?"
Khushi ignored him and continued to search through the clothes.
"Khushi! Stop!"
Khushi ignored him again.
That does it! Arnav thought to himself.
He sat down opposite Khushi and grabbed her hands,
"Let go of me!"
"Khushi, what are you doing?"
"I'm looking for something!" Khushi tried to get out of the handlock
"What are you looking for?" Arnav tried again
"Nothing!" Khushi tried to squirm out of his grip, avoiding looking into arnav's eyes.
It's no use. He's too strong.
Khushi stopped struggling and glared at him, and then she remembered. It was in one of the bags Arnav had just brought in.
Crap. How do I get out of this now? I need that book. Arnav watched as Khushi's eyes glazed over. She was deep in thought.
"Khushi? What are you looking for?" Arnav repeated
"Huh?" Khushi snapped out of her reverie.
"Are you feeling ok?" Arnav was concerned. He put his hand on her forehead. She shook him off.
"Go away."
"Khushi you have a fever."
"I don't care. Go away." Khushi squirmed out of his hand and stood up. As she did the room began to spin. She lost her balance and fell.
"Khushi!" Arnav caught her just in time (as always.) khushi opened her eyes, when she saw Arnav, she remembered him yelling at her.
She was not going to give in. No matter what. She stood up.
"Hmm I'm okay. Leave me alone. I'm not talking to you until you apologise."
Khushi walked out of the room into the living area and sat on the sofa. Her eyes glazed over again.
Arnav ran his hands through his hair.
Damnit. This is going to be hard, and the room is a mess.
Arnav sighed and began to clean up the room. Once the room was tidy again, he began to unpack all the suitcases while he planned how to manao khushi. She'd never been this angry before.
He couldn't come up with anything. This was bad. Suddenly he had an idea. He stopped unpacking.
Time to call in the big guns.
He made a phone call.
Meanwhile in the lounge khushi needed to vent to someone... A neutral third party.
She got out her phone, checked that the battery was still in (couldn't trust that laad governor) and she made a phone call.
OVER 8000 MILES AWAY
Payal and akash were in bed fast asleep. When akash's phone began to ring.
Payal moaned. "Akash!! Switch it off! Why do you always take the phone to bed?"
Akash was fast asleep. Payal opened an eye and saw he was fast asleep.
"Akash!" She shouted.
Nothing
"Akash!! I'm bored so I'm going to go dance in the street naked..."
Still nothing.
One last try.
"AKASH THERE'S A MURDERER AND HE HAS A GUN TO MY HEAD!"
Akash stirred.
"Hmm... I'll sort it out tomorrow."
Payal watched him go back to sleep, her mouth was wide open.
He'd sort it out tomorrow. That's reassuring.
In America where gun crime is the highest, if I was about to be murdered he'd sleep right through it, and sort it out tomorrow. Does he think the murderer will wait?
The phone rang again. She sat up and scrambled to get to it. It was Arnav, must be an emergency.
"Hello? Arnavji?" Payal realised she was whispering. Her husband was dead to the world. He wouldn't wake up.
"Payal? Where's akash?"
She looked down at her husband.
"He's asleep."
"Oh. " Arnav replied. Well this was awkward.
"Can you wake him up?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"Arnavji, put it this way, I just yelled at him that I was about to be murdered..."
"And He didn't hear you?"
"Oh no, He heard me... he says he's going to sort it out tomorrow."
Arnav smiled.
"What's wrong? Is everything okay?" Payal continued.
"Well yes and no," Arnav answered. "We're okay, but I need help, khushi's angry with me."
"What happened?" Payal asked. "And by that, I mean what did you do this time?"
Akash opened a bleary eye.
"One minute arnavji"
"Go talk on the phone outside. I'm sleeping. Gosh. So rude." And with that he went back to sleep.
"Bu-. Y-. You j- GAAHH!!" Payal threw a pillow at akash and stomped out of the room.
Akash woke up when the pillow hit his face.
"What happened?" He wondered.
Just then Payals phone rang. Akash sat up annoyed.
"Why does she have to bring the phone to bed?! It's so annoying."
He looked at the caller ID. It was khushiji.
These sisters will be the death of me.
"Hello khushiji?"
"Hello jeeju, is jeeji there?"
"No, she's gone out of the room... What's wrong? Is everything okay?"
"No your bhai yelled at me again."
This was bad. She only referred to Arnav as "your bhai" when Arnav had screwed up big time.
"Khushiji, bhai always yells at you, it's how your marriage works."
"Jeeju, he really yelled at me this time."
"What happened?"
Khushi began to recount the events of the day
So thats it for now,
