Part 18.

One month had passed since Akash and Payal's wedding..

Khushi had been busy from the very next day they had left the Raizada farmhouse. Setting up the house again since they were away for a month and college work assignments ,studies and catching up with friends ..life was back to normal but with a twist!

Arnav on the other side was out of the country in Los Angeles for 1 whole month working on a important business project .. he was back to being a workaholic but with a twist!

The rest of the Raizada and Gupta family also had started with their routine lives.

Despite being busy'there wasn't a single day of Khushi's that went without thinking of Arnav..all the moments spent with him..his smile that made her go weak in the knees..and his kiss..still created havoc in her entire being..whenever she remembered it. She wanted to see him , talk to him..her heart yearned to hear his voice.! From payal she had got to know that Arnav was in LA for work..she dint know when he would return' but was desperately waiting for the same!

Arnav too..had missed Khushi immensely!!! He would often drift to her thoughts

While at work..her laughter..her craziness always made him smile whenever he thought about her.. he found himself staring at her picture on his iphone..which he had secretly clicked during the haldi function several times! ..he wanted to hear her voice..he had resisited calling her many a times! What would he say ? he thought and always scratched the idea.!

Im gonna miss you La..Khushi said for the nth time..

Chillax Khush im going only for a week..not for a month..chalo don't be sad now!

I know but still..!! Khushi hugged her..for the final time..take care and call me and NK once you reach Singapore.. Lavanya nodded back and smiled you too..tace care ill be back soon don't worry!! Saying that she left Khushi to board her flight..

Lavanya was going to Singapore for a cousin's wedding..and Khushi had gone to drop her at the airport.

Why is there such a crowd there thought Khushi.. as she was about to leave the airport and head back home ..

There were many journalists and people with cameras.. there was excitement all around

As many women were running to take a look at the person who was surrounded with the croud ..Khushi too..was curious she thought it might be a celebrity and hence all the chaos..she too..ran in the direction of the crowd..

She was dumbstruck when she saw her Arnavji walking with his aviators on between all the bodyguards..giving a damn about the crowd..

She stood there shaking her head in disbelief..its not him..! it cant' she pinched herself and yelped..confirming she wasn't dreaming.. she couldn't understand what was happening.. when she heard a few girls gushing how hot Arnav Singh Raizada was in real..

it is him..!!!

Khushi..jumped and screamed Arnavji..!!!

Arnav halted in his tracks..!

Her voice..it was her..! how could she be here?? He removed his aviators..and saw the most beautiful sight.. Khushi ..wearing a blue salwar..with her hair left!!!

He smiled and sighed Khushi..

Khushi saw him looking at her 'and a strange feeling engulfed her..she felt he had eyes only for her..the way he was looking at her smiling a little..how she missed him.. she forgot all the croud..around them and the next instant she was on her toes.. she ran to him..and crashed into him hugging him with all her force..her hands hands around his neck..

I missed you!

Arnav stumbled back a bit..completely stunned at what just happened..

Khushi had literally flown into his arms..

I missed you too..!!!

He said smiling and hugging her back..

Oh My God!!! Khushi exclaimed as she opened her eyes and removed her hands from his neck.. noticing all the people around them staring and all the cameras clicking their pictures continuously..while the journalists blasted them with questions.!

Khushi relax! Arnav said as he held her hand..

Arnavji i.. she looked down feeling embaressed at her act..

Khushi..just come with me.! He caught her by the waist..and led her out of all the frenzy and chaos that had taken place.

Khushi was lying on her bed later that night..

Her phone buzzed beside her..

1 new message

Unkown number.

Hi.

Khushi looked at her phone puzzled.. who at this hour would send her a hi..

She replied back..

Arnav's phone beeped ..he looked up from his file..

The one your missing a lot these days ;)

Khushi..eyes popped out.. reading the reply from the unknown number. The one im missing a lot thes days she repeated thinking of Arnav and froze ..this could not be Arnav Singh Raizada messaging her ..

Her phone rang bringing her out of her thoughts.. it's the same unknown number..

She spent a good time thinking whether to pick the call or no .. and finally picked

Hello? She said hesitantly

Hi! Came the husky reply from the other side and she no more needed confirmation that she had officially gone mad..thinking that Arnav Singh Raizada was texting her at 11 in the night.. it was indeed HIM.!

Khushi will you go out with me tomorrow? He said crossing his fingers .. a little nervous about her answer.!

Khushi felt the air knock out of her lungs.. go out with Arnav Singh Raizada!!!!

Arnav Singh Raizada was asking her out of everyone he is asking me out on a date!!! Khushi jumped in joy..

Khushi your there? Arnav asked worried as a whole 5 minutes had passed but there was no reply from her!

Khushi composed herself ..yess!! she said grinning!

Soo it's a yes? He asked again..confirming whether he heard right!

Yes! She said again still grinning like an idiot!

Wear red!

What? She asked suddenly!

I said wear red he repeated sitting on his recliner

Why? She asked confused!

Because im saying soo..!

And why should I listen to you?..she blurted out! Regretting what she said the very next second.. he was just asking her to wear red..big deal! She smacked her head lightly!

Uhmm I guess you have forgotten the bet..wear red because I want you to..!

But.. she was cut off!

No buts!!! See ya tomorrow.. gunnite baby! He added and disconnected the call.

Khushi sat staring at her phone like it had grown horns! Baby for the second time.!

P.s. hey..even though most of your'll want me to continue..i have finally decided to end the story like how i had thought oiginally!! 😊
