Part Two

Sheetal and NK stopped their footsie game suddenly as they looked at the man standing beside their table, a devilish smirk resting on his face.

Who is this person anyways? And what a name? Bhai? What kind of name was that? Sheetal thought looking at Arnav her eyebrows knitted together.

While an equally stunned NK checked out the person, whom Akash addressed as BHAI!

Bhai meand brother kya? He is Akash's brother?

Hariprakash, Jayaprakash and Omprakash the famous triplets of their group shared a look shrugging their shoulders and looked at a nervous Akash.

"BHAI?"

Akash gulped again and reached his sides in lightening speed. Arnav stared at Sheetal, while NK glared at the man who was staring at his GF! How dare he?

Khushi kept singing "Aaj mausam hai suhana, fried rice khane ka bahana" while she swayed her head sideways.

"What happened guys? I know you guys are stunned at my awesome performance"

She said blowing her nails. Still there was no response from her friends, and she turned around annoyed.

She looked up at the person her eyes widening and her mouth shaped an instant "O"

"Arnav?"

She rubbed her eyes and pinched herself hard on her hand. And then looked at him again. He was still there, and she found out that she was not hallucinating.

Realization dawned on her as he looked at the rupees lying on the table. She bit her nails and flashed a toothy smile at him.

"So you are the one who met with the accident huh? I hope your brain is functioning now?"

He said looking at a totally flushed Sheetal.

"Me? What happened to me? I am totally normal" She said annoyed at his mocking question.

"Yeah, she's perfectly alright," NK added irritated

He didn't even looked at them, as his eyes were elsewhere. Khushi had eyes only for him, as she thought how to escape an embarrassing moment infront of her nalayak friends!

He pulled the chair beside Khushi and sat without leaving her eyes. Akash watched his brother giving too much attention to his pagal friend, his nervousness fled out of the window, and he confidently took the chair next to him, smiling widely.

Khushi shifted nervously on her seat and tore her gaze from his face reluctantly, while the only place she wanted to look was him and him only.

"Did you guys placed your orders?"

He asked pouring a glass of water for him and sipping the same stealing glances at Khushi's face.

Akash could not understand anything his devil of a Bhai doing. Why he is not yelling at me? May be he will scold me after they reached their home. Or he will blast him during the journey back home. He counted the possibilities of his Bhai's ways of blasting him.

Sheetal and NK took their seats nervously as they realized that the person was no one else Akash's brother.

The Prakash triplets sat on their seats looking curiously at him and the way he sipped his water.

He got style man! Hariprakash thought.

They ate in silence; it was awkward for the group, as they were never been this silent from ages. Khushi's tongue itched as she looked at her nervous friends. She was not used to be all silent, and that too for a whole 15 minutes. She felt as if she will die if she didn't utter a word or two.

"Hmmm' So you came back , I thought you left"

She said looking at Arnav and batted her eyelashes cutely.

"I had never left, I just wanted to make sure that you were okay, and when I saw you entering DD instead of Hospital, I realized that you were more than okay, and then I thought about joining you all to make your time more than OKAY"

Khushi choked onto her food and started coughing loudly. Arnav patted her head and handed her a glass of water.

"Khushi, tum theekh ho?"

Akash rolled his eyes watching his Bhai going all over protective on his nalayak friend and that too Khushi? #1 dramaqueen she was.

Khushi relaxed as he made her drink the whole water. She flashed a smile at him and made a puppy face.

"I am sorry, Arnav it was just a damn bet and the whole prank was planned by Akash"

She said suppressing a grin while Akash choked onto his food.

Oh god just just make me as tiny as this rice lying on my plate, I want to die. Akash thought drinking his water nervously.

"No need to say sorry, Khushi, it was fun by the way, it just reminded me of my college days at Harvard"

He said smiling at her, while Akash choked again. bhai really needs a check up done. I hope Khushi was not too hard at him during the ride, if not why the hell his bhai is acting weirdly?

Prakash triplets watched the new love struck duo with wide eyes, chewing their fried rice simultaneously.

NK grinned at Khushi and Arnav as he felt relieved, after all he was not eyeing at his girlfriend Sheetal for heavens sake. You go man! NK flashed a smile at him.

"My Name is Arnav Singh Raizada, Akash's elder brother"

He introduced himself and shook hands with everyone over the table. Akash smiled weakly shaking his head admitting the same.

"It was nice meeting you all, will see you all some other time may be?"

He said looking intentionally at Khushi and she blushed at his gaze.

"Bye everyone"

He said waving his hands at the group and exited from there.

Akash left with Prakash triplets and Sheetal and NK left on NK's bike. Khushi stretched her arms lazily as she thought about going back to the college, just to take her scooty?

She groaned and walked out of the Hotel after handing a good amount of tip to their favorite waiter Mr. Happy Singh!

She looked around and found a familiar vehicle at the parking lot and she almost ran towards that, unknowingly.

The glass came sliding down, Arnav flashed a lopsided smile at her, and she looked at him with awe.

"Get in"

He said huskily and Khushi's stomach did a somersault. She got inside without any hesitance and buckled her seatbelt.

They drove in silence and Khushi's tongue itched again to ask him, why he hadn't left from there?

"I didn't see you leaving the hotel, while your friends had already left"

He voiced her thoughts and she looked at him as if he was an alien or something. And then his voice registered in her mind. Was he waiting for her?

A grin formed on her lips unknowingly as she looked at him.

"We reached"

He said looking at her sideways.

"Thanks, Arnav"

He removed a card from his pocket and handed her the same.

"Its my card if you need anything"

He said smirking at her and she nodded her head grinning.

"Call me"

He said before sliding up the glass.
