Loved the twist and Purvi getting married on her own terms , without dowry and for being liked by her husband for the person she is. Like how not only Chhan Chhan but others also have spine in this show.

This was a pleasant surprise. As an International viewer, crossing cultural boundaries can be very difficult. I was so happy that he came back for Purvi. And he is adamant that he will marry her. And her only. So his parents, of course, have to give in. Although I understand why his parents would want UB's input, I cannot fathom why they would want to rest his entire life in her hands!! As an educated person, I am surprised that he even agreed to dowry, in the first place!
Now, when Purvi goes to her in-laws, she will have the dignity denied many Indian brides of dowry.

Like a man who stands up for what he wants. He spoke respectfully and left UBen a little baffled. Let's see what she does now. 😊 Also, liked that they show Manav overhearing the conversation. He will see the other side of his mother. I have a feeling he will approach Chhanchhan and tell her, thus again avoiding the cliched versions where the girl tells the guy about his mother and we have a back and forth she said, he said...before the truth comes out.
Healthy relationship starting between two people...strong foundation for marriage.
