Salil patches up with TV's big boss!

Salil Ankola and Ekta Kapoor make peace post the breach-of-contract fiasco
Ekta Kapoor and Salil Ankola have patched up. The big war's over. Salil's now back on her Star Plus show Karam Apnaa Apnaa. Just a few days ago, the Ekta-Salil war erupted, when the latter signed up for Bigg Boss show on Sony TV.
Apparently, as per the contract Salil had signed with Ekta's production house, he was not supposed to do any shows outside.
Following his entry in Bigg Boss, Ekta sued Salil for breach of contract. She got an injunction restraining him from appearing on the show. The battle only intensified between the two.
But, now both have decided to bury the hatchet and move on. Salil apparently SMSed Ekta and the two patched up.
"Salil's back in Karam Apnaa Apnaa,"Ekta told BT. "We have no issues with him. The legal step was taken earlier only because he was playing a very important character in our serial. Every show has some important characters and we can't just let them go. But everything's fine now."
But, what about the buzz that she threw a party the day Salil had to leave Bigg Boss following the court directive? "Not at all. Why would I do something like that?"she says.
Salil too is glad things are sorted out and is back to playing the suave businessman Mahen on Ekta's show.
