I was wondering for quite sum times..if woman/girls are a form that shakti female engery.. Then why arent we respected..Is theyre any proof (plz say yes) in the holy books ..what rights we have.. In my opinion if u hurt living person.. u hurt God himself. All females/girls are Gods children too not only man. If we dont get the respect..can we do something about it??

Am really happy to be a part of this forum because ..there are lots of members who have lots of knowlegde ..and we/i can learn from them.

Can someone enlighten me plz..

this is a major issue dear. one one hand womanhood is worshipped as shakti, as a mother, as laxmi, as goddess of knowledge saraswati when the same woman takes birth she is disrespected and insulted. its the itony. im not saying all men are evil and all women are goddesses.

this is a fight btwn good v/s bad and not man v/s woman. we should understand this difference.

Afourse i agree with u.. its about good vs bad..but do u know where it is written and what rights do we have? Is it de manu smriti only? I know were in kaliyug but still i have hopes things will change for the better for woman. Also the education starts at home and school.

How can we awaken our inner female power? I know its a difficult issue...

The Question u have asked is right & the ans. to that (in my View Point). Yes we do have Shakti force within all of us. There's a saying a Woman can make or break any sitautions. Some Women do utilize inner shakti By taking a stand. But Some Believe it's a Male dominating World So they bear it Quietly. In the Purans, Stories if u read... Woman have been tortured in every situation coz she has the quality of innocence & softness which the male Dominating World( Rakshas/ Asur Ke yoni) totally take it for Grant. My mom tells me in the Puranic age if a woman want something & if anyone dare to reject they had to bear the Wrath. One way tormenting of Woman was also started by Big Attitude Pandits who made rules that Women are not to be included in so many Rituals...They should be in the feet of their Husbands, sons, & the list Goes on. From then on it's been Going on. But 40% of male ( all around the World). Really believe in the ShaktiForce & Keep their Women of Life like a True Queen, princess, Wish there were more people like their thoughts . The world would be a better place to live for Women Too...

I think when we talk about shakti it's about strong inner strength, a woman has the strength to face all situations whether its good or bad, we have choices and have the skills to pick ourselves up and continue or even fight for our rights. Many rape victims are still living they haven't committed suicide because its that inner strength that is keeping them going no matter how bleak their life is.

Problem is with society, even women can be a woman's enemy in terms of mother/sister of a rapist supporting them and refusing to acknowledge any wrong doing so the rapist still see nothing wrong in it, public taunting the rape victim instead of supporting, education of boy and families to respect girls and women and educating girls to be more aware. Infact some people ignore what's happening around them, waiting for someone else to sort it. Police tend to get transferred for their failures so the problem is never solved but brushed away till another incident happens.

Females in the Puranas etc have always been subjected to abuse and tested, it's how they deal with the situation which is the actual shakti.
