Had the update already written so I'm posting it. I just have one question, are you guys still enjoying heartbeat? A lot of people are no longer commenting or reading or liking that story, which makes me feel bad since its the closest to my heart, but I know a lot of people who love that story. I'm just confused as if people don't like how the story is going or if its something else? I'd appreciate if you could tell me, cause its kind of driving me crazy now.
v - "Jeevika, why do you feel warm?"
j - "I'm not warm. I'm fine"
Viren placed his hand on her forehead and felt the heat running through her body.
v - "Jeevika, I think you have a fever"
j - "No, I'm fine now"
v - "What do you mean now? Did you have a fever before?"
j - "Uhmm"
v - "JEEVIKA"
veera - "Gosh why are you getting mad at bhabhi now?
v - "She had a fever today and didn't tell us"
veera - "Boy are you going to be busted now. Someone can get to feel how I feel everyday" 😡
Viren and Virat stared her down.
j - "I just took some medicine a while ago. I'll be fine, relax will you"
v - "No! You don't get sleep, you're not even eating properly these days. Virat why don't you guys go out. I'll stay at home with Jeevika"
veera - "No we're fine at home"
v - "No you guys go out for sometime. Veera these are your last few days to enjoy a little, so just go out"
veera - "No I'd rather stay at home anyways"
v - "Veera, go for sometime and then come home"
j - "Viren please I want to go out too"
v - "You've lost your brains and you will make me loose mine too"
virat - "We'll be back after a drive. Call me if you guys need anything"
Virat, Manvi, Veera, and Armaan left soon and then Viren took Jeevika upstairs to their room. He tucked her in bed placing extra blankets on her so she wouldn't feel cold. Then he went and got a thermometer and checked her temperature. Jeevika was a little scared of Viren right now, but she was too tired to make him happy.
v - "You have a high fever and you think you're fine"
j - "I am"
v - "No you're not. Here take this" he said handing her medicine.
v - "Now just lay down and relax please"
j - "Please can you stop being mad now. It's my birthday and technically you're not allowed to be mad at me"
v - "Technically since I'm your husband, you should tell me that you have a fever"
j - "My bad" she said smiling bright
v - "Jeevika"
j - "Viren"
v - "What will you take to go to sleep?"
j - "One tight hug, one kiss, and you holding me in your arms" she said smiling. On the other hand Viren was furious at her
v - "You're cuteness is not charming today"
j - "It's always charming my dear husband. Now will you lay down next to me so I don't feel alone" she said with a little sad face
v - "Close your eyes, I'm coming in five minutes"
j - "Where you leaving me?" 😔
v - "Jeevika"
j - "Okay Okay stop with those scary looks"
Viren went downstairs and in the meantime Jeevika got up from her bed. She wanted to watch a movie and not sleep so she put in her favorite movie inside the DVD player, A Walk To Remember. She knew Viren would never put on a movie for her, so she might as well put it on herself. And as far as she knew, Viren was probably making some honey-ginger tea and bringing 500 other things to keep her hydrated. She got back into bed before Viren would come up and placed herself inside the blankets all over their bed. Viren entered the room, and of course Jeevika was right.
v - "Here drink some of this"
j - "What is it?"
v - "Green tea with ginger and honey"
j - "Why am I not surprised"
v - "Shutup and drink it"
j - "You're so mean Viren. To hell with your tea. I don't want it nor do I want you right now. Just leave"
v - "Hello calm down please"
j - "No, leave me alone"
v - "What's wrong with you?"
j - "Just leave me alone" she said getting out of bed and walking out the door. Jeevika was angry and didn't even know why. She put her shoes on near the front of the door and barged out the door. Viren followed her out and tried catching up with her which he finally did. He took his sweatshirt off and put it on her, her face was definitely that of a mad wife.
j - "I told you to leave me alone" she said followed by a sneeze
v - "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gotten mad. But I was super angry that you didn't tell me you weren't feeling well. I already feel bad for not taking good enough care for you and you're my responsibility now. And I'm not doing a good job so I got my frustration out on you. I'm sorry" he said holding his ears and standing in front of her. He noticed her getting teary eyed. So he held her hand and walked back home. Jeevika got inside the bed without Viren having to say anything to her. She rested her head on the pillow and Viren shockingly pressed play and their favorite movie started playing.
j - "I love you"
v - "Not more than I love you"
The both of them started watching the movie and every once in a while Viren would hand Jeevika something to eat or drink as she was too busy crying watching this emotional movie. Viren took full advantage of that. He checked her fever without her even realizing when he put a thermometer in her mouth. Her temperature was going down. Finally the rest of the gang came home. They went upstairs to Viren and Jeevika's bedroom to see Jeevika on Viren's lap. The both of them were watching a movie.
veera - "How you feeling bhabhi"
j - "Fine, come sit and watch the movie"
v - "OMG best movie ever. I'm going to start crying any minute now"
j - "I've been doing that the past hour"
All six of them settled in the room. Jeevika was still in Viren's lap on the bed, with Veera sitting on the sofa near them with Armaan. Virat and Manvi were sitting below the bed with blankets and pillows. They were all watching the movie, and having a fun time, or actually for the girls a sad time. Watching true love, and the hope of a miracle. Before the movie could even end, all the girls were asleep. Jeevika on Viren's lap, Veera on Armaan's shoulder, and Manvi holding Virat's arm. Viren quietly turned off the tv and moved Jeevika so she was more comfortable. Virat carried Manvi to his room and Armaan well. He didn't want to pick Veera up in front of her brothers so he just lay her down on the sofa and covered her up with a blanket. He made sure she was fine, and then slowly left the room waving bye to Viren who was checking Jeevika's fever again. Armaan went outside and saw Virat coming towards him.
virat - "Where you going at this time?"
a - "Back to my dorm"
virat - "It's too late, why don't you go sleep downstairs. I'll open up the sofa for you"
a - "Thanks, but its okay. Anyways I have registration I have to do tomorrow morning. So it's better I go back"
virat - "If you say so"
Armaan slowly peeped out of the house and Virat shut off all the lights. Viren got up from the bed and went to change. He first checked on Veera making sure she wasn't getting sick or if she was cold. Then he went back to his bed and slept with Jeevika by his side.
