Chapter 5

Raizada group of industries

Khushi walking back and forth infront of Arnav's cabin. Arnav walks in. Khushi runs and stands infront of his cabin door, blocking him from entering.

Arnav: what the!! Ye kya drama hai subah subah!! Move khushi!

Khushi: (stubborn tone) Nahi! Jab tak aap humare istifa pe dastakat nahi karte hum apko andar nahi jane denge!

Arnav: Ye nautanki bandh karo khushi,ye mera office hai, Humara ghar nahi!!

On hearing the word "humara Ghar" Khushi expression changes, she sadly looks around at the employee's.

Khushi: (not looking at Arnav): Humara ghar?? Wo toh apne kabka todd diya!

Arnav: (angrily)maine?? I..(he was about to continue but he looks around and changes his tone) tumhara resignation andar mere cabin pe pada hai, so if you want it, muje andar jana padega!

Khushi looks at him and moves, Arnav enters his cabin.

Scene Shift

St. theresa's

The whole dance team was tensed and shocked in the canteen as Nil and Sharon tells them about Taani being back,

Vicky: Dude! Agar Taani ko Rey se chupna hai, toh hume uski puri madadt karni padegi! Rey mushkil se wapus se the prankster Rey bana hai!! We cant let him be sad again! Main wapus se usko waise nai dekh sakta! No ways!

Bharat: sahi bola tu! Taani ko Rey se luka chupi khelne mein hum puri tarah madat karenge!

Rey: did I just hear Luka chupi??

The whole group nervous and scared turns and see's Rey standing,

Sharon: (scared) wo Rey! Bharat keh raha tha ki, wo, (looks at Swayam with a "help me" look)

Swayam: wo Rey, pehle muje ye bata ki tune exactly suna kya??

The whole group looks at Swayam with a "what the hell" look!

Rey: (confused) yahi ki luka chupi something, muje thik se sunai nai diya agey!!

The whole group takes a deep breathe out of relief!

Nil: haan, wo, Bharat ko prank karna tha kisipe! Par ab nahi karni, (holds Rey and drags him)chal na Rey hum apne dance class mein chalte hai. Chal.

Rey: Dude!! Prank se yaad aya! Students keh rahe the koi teacher ayi hai, chal na bohot time se kisipe pranks nahi kiya! Acha mauka hai! What say?

Nil: (thinking) Yaar, hum Tani ko Rey se chupana chahte hai, aur ye Rey hai ki usipe pranks karne ki baat kar raha hai.

Rey: (holds Nil's shoulder) Dude! Kya soch rahe ho?

Nil: (nervous)Nothing!! Chod na Rey, ab hum bade ho chuke hai, ab kaha Pranks n all.

Raizada group of industries

Khushi : (tensed)Arnavji kar kya rahe hai? Agar aaj main waqt pe nahi gayi toh wo interview wale interview lene se pehle hi reject kar denge! Hey devi maiya, ye kaha fasa diya hume!

She gets up and was about to open Arnavs cabin door, when he comes out,

Arnav: knock karna toh jaise tum kabhi sikhogi hi nai.. hain na?

Khushi: hume faltu baatein karke waqt barbad nahi karni hai, humara istifa kaha hai?

Arnav: (carefully closes the door and folds his hands) Kya tumne yaha ane se pehle appointment liya tha?

Khushi: (confused) nahi.

Arnav: Bina appointment k main kisi ko nai milta!reception pe jake apna appointment book karo aur phir apna resignation letter uss din le lena! now you may leave

Khushi: (upset) hume wo aaj hi chaiye! Hume abhi jana hai interview dene! Aap aisa kyu kar rahe hai humare saath! hume kahi par bhi naukri nahi milegi!

Arnav: (with a straight face) I don't care! (and slams the door on her face)

Khushi was annoyed and sad, she sits on the seat, she didn't know what to do, she knew that now there is no ways she could get the job. Suddenly she gets an idea.

Khushi: (smiling) aab main apse istifa mangungi nahi Arnavji, ab toh aap khud hume apki company se nikal denge!!

Scene Shifts

St. Theresa;s

Rey was looking out for the new teacher, he was asking students about her, Taani was standing near the notice board, from the reflection she see's Rey talking to a student, and the student turned and looked at her, Taani's heart was beating fast now, the kid lifted her hand and was about to point it to Taani when Taani quickly moves and starts walking away, Rey just see's her back for a second and she moved from there. He goes behind her, Taani quickly enters a store room, He see's someone entering it, but didnt see her, She quickly manages to hide behind some boxes.

Rey enters the store room, Taani could see him from the gaps between the boxes. He found it weird that the teacher was running and hiding from him.

Rey: (casually) Hey I know your in here, I guess Nil ne tuje bata diya about ma prank idea, khud bhi prank nahi kar raha aur muje bhi nahii karne dega.

Taani had no clue about the prank, she holds her locket tight and sits behind the boxes,she was very scared. Rey notices the box moving and figures out that shez there.

Rey: (trying to make things normal) Hey its really awkward, tume mujse chupne ki koi zarurat nahi hai. (he waits for her reply but she doesn't say a thing) Ok fine, I dnt know Nil ne kya bada chadake kaha tumse but trust me, main tumpe koi prank nahi karunga ab, come on ya, hum ek hi school mein padate hai, aise daro mat mujse.

Taani was still nervous, she was just praying to Krishnaji to save her today. She slowly looks at Rey again from the gaps, He was standing there waiting for her to say something.

Rey: Fine, main bhi dekhta hu tum kab tak mujse chupti ho. I challenge you, agle do dino mein main tumhe pakad lunga! (he walks towards the boxes and puts his hand between them for a shake hand) what say? Challenge accepted??

Taani looks at Rey's hands, She didn't know what to do, She knew he wont leave without she accepting the challenge.she slowly with lots of guts lifts her hand and places it on his, The moment she touched him, Rey felt some sort of connection with her, hez expression changes, he knew this touch, he found her texture similar, her hands were shivering, it reminded him of Taani, she would shiver everytime he touched her, He bends a little bit trying to see her but he couldn't, Taani removes her hand , Rey looks at his hands, and again at the boxes, He wanted to say some more things but he couldn't, he quickly moves out of the room.

Scene shifts

Arnav was waiting for his secretary to gets some files, he gets up from his seat and walks in his secretary's cabin.

Arnav: (angrily) ek file lane mein tumhe kitna time lagta hai god damn it!

The seat's back was facing Arnav, as the seat turns to face him, to his surprise it was Khushi sitting on his secretary's seat, smiling at him, Arnav just looks at her, his secretary walks in, all tensed and scared, he looks at her and thn at Khushi.

Scene 1

Arnav: Trying to act smart ha? Tume lagta hai tum ye sab karogi aur apna resignation letter le logi?

Khu: (challenging tone) nahi Arnavji, hum kuch nahi karege, aap khud hume humara istifa de denge, khud kahenge iss company se jane k liye,

Scene 2

Rey splashes water on his face, he could still feel the touch on his hand, after one year he felt her touch, how he wished he could see her, he closes his eyes and remembers Taani's smile, her long hair, he splashes water on his face again.
