CHAPTER TWO
In a city, there are two young people who got themselves into a forceful and unwanted marriage due to pressure from their parents and a quest to acquire material things, the couple were forced to a state of dilemma but as nature may have it, it wasn't as bad as earlier thought because God has a way of turning things around.
Yash is the son of Mr. Suraj pratap scindia; a very close friend of Mr. Dubey Singh, the father of Aarti, a very crucial element in the Government of the federation, Mr. Dubey controls most of the major contracts under the ministry of works and generally supervise the works and delivery to government on completion, Dubey has two children Aarti and Rahul who are both in their higher institutions.
Aarti is such a very lovely girl that anybody who sees her will be tempted to talk. But her beauty, knowledge and father's wealth did not occupy her mentality or force her to Bragg over anything. She was humble and loyal to everyone around her.😊
Yash is equally a very successful accountant general in a very big co-operative firm, he was loved by everybody in the company due to his love and tender heart towards his fellow being and staff of the firm where he works and does not underestimate anybody for whatever reason. Yash lives in a bungalow apartment out of his father's house all alone because his younger brothers were asked to stay home with their parents for their mother Gayatri's sake who always need company of children around her.
Mr. Suraj, who is a civil Engineer, was so desperate for contract so he went to seek for contract, on arriving Dubey's office. He met a young beautiful girl sitting there, when he asked.
"Please Suraj meet my daughter Aarti, she is the joy of my life" Dubey introduced
Suraj and Aarti shook hands. "Wow it nice meeting you, how are you doing beta?" Suraj asked.
"I 'm fine; it is nice meeting you too". Aarti replied and she left the office.
As Aarti was leaving, Mr.Suraj began to admire her but Dubey scolded him to get his eyes off his young daughter before he equally turns his eyes of friendship off from him.
"I am sorry Dubey, I didn't mean it that way, I'm only saying she may be a good wife for my son Yash, you know he is still single and besides he is very hardworking man who for months now has been up to demands and expectations, any way let's talk about what brought me here. Suraj stated.
"Dubeey, please I really need your help. I've been without contract for close to two months now, you don't wish I continue like this do you? So that is why I have come here for you to help me.
Why won't you be without contract when you are busy sleeping with teenage girls instead of working for your family?" Dubey insulted.
"No Dubey! It's not like that; I don't sleep with teenagers. For Goodness sake lets not bring back those crap' I don't have time for such nonsense" Suraj warned.
" Even if you have time or not, that is none of my business, as friends I just have advice you, any way the Government has awarded a lot of contracts these past months, so we are still concentrating on supervision and delivery so I am very sorry there is non for now". Dubey explained.
"I understand Dubey , but I will appreciate if you will help me get one to put me back on my track because I am already falling out, please I beg you to put in every effort necessary and see what you can do for me as a friend but that is by the way, talking about your daughter, I am really interested in getting her as a wife for my son. Suraj added.
Dubey laughed heavily. "Are u serious about that or are u just pulling my legs?"
"Dubey you know I can never pull your legs, I just want a good girl for my son, a girl from a good background. I don't want him to fall into the traps of street girls or local mischief you know what I mean" Suraj added.
"now you have given me a good reason why we should forever be friends, you know I have been thinking about how Aarti will get befitting husband that will not mess with her. Because you know there are gold-diggers around town who want her just for my wealth, listen if u can make this happen I will make sure no one else get any more contract from this office again, if not you I just want my daughter to be in a safe hand and I know your family can make that happen". Dubey assured.
"I will do everything possible to ensure it works or is he no longer my son? Don't worry just organized your family to welcome us, we are already on our way". Suraj proposed.
They both shook hands and left as Dubey promised Suraj a very lucrative contract in few weeks, but should ensure nothing goes wrong during the marriage process of their children. ???.
Soo the next chapter we will see Yash and Aarti's reaction to the news (suicide, divorce and runaway) 😭
