Sholly shollly for *Phir sey* late update. But Finally better late than never 😉 So here's the update 😃
AND in this update, the performance bit, is'nt my work BUT my diduu BlushingQueen's work, who's much more expert than me in Katthak. Did'nt stretch the performance description much, coz me didnt wanted to bore u all. But its also just PERFECT all thanks to mah didu 🤗

This update for my Khushi diii (deepali1022) and my didu (Blushingqueen) ❤️ aul Sabaaa 🤗 (abb meli wall ko baksh dena 😭)

PART-3

"Sir, this is insane. She cant just perform in this condition, and nurse too isnt allowing it" "But I'm saying na I can and I will" Geet replied with a frown. "Maan I too understand ur point but I'm just saying that lets just wait for sometime, agar Geet ka pain injection se kam ho jata hai by the time of performance then it will be great na" Maan sighed knowing he cant win but still he was really scared for her, he just hoped she would'nt stress much.

Geet sat in one corner of their practise room where everyone excluding her rehearsed while she could only watch them rehearse. Maan silently kept a look on her the entire day, giving her company.

He now and then kept assuring she was fine. Their 4 other friends armaan, yash, pinky and pari too gelled up quickly and they all had a gala time together while geet just couldnt stop her laugh at armaan's hillarious talks.

Maan would skip a beat each time she would giggle or laugh. Oww even her laughter was as musical and sweet as her. Haaye maan was falling for her more and more..

The function started long back and surely it was a fun filled program with students of different age groups rocking the stage displaying their remarkable calibres.Geet's dance was just few performances away and she was in their green room getting ready. Maan was already into his black sherwani and jeans, which was the most comfy and approprite attire for him to wear.

He stood near the backstage along with other dancers waiting for geet to arrive. Next was their performance and she was'nt here yet.He frowned, trying too swipe off all those scary thoughts that were clouding his mind due to geet's lateness. "I guess i should go check once" he mumbled and moved towards the green room only to watch it push open from inside. He froze onto his tracks.

There appeared an angel clad in a white anarkali suit with red thick borders making her look all the more heavenly. Her silky hairs plated tightly while those cute flicks bounced and slid around the partition of her hairs, laying path to that silver tiny maang teeka. Head covered with her red dupatta. Her eyes hid between the thick lining of the kaajal, making them all the more attractive. Just a little nude gloss over her plump lips and she was ready..

Those small delicate palms adorned with blood red aalta (or mahavar) which was an important identification for a katthak dancer.
GOSH!! she was dressed to kill. This naive beauty of hers would surely be his death some day. He was continuousely staring at her whereas geet was highly conscious of her look. She wasnt really habbitual of such heavy make ups, but only for performances she had to do it and she hated that.Maan's trance broke as he saw her lightly limping towards them lost in her thoughts, at once he rushed to her to help her up to climb the stairs leading back stage. "Maan its fine i ca..." but he stopped her in mid by placing his finger over his lips. "Sshh, chup. Now lets go" he held her hand and led her. Geet stared at his back as he moved ahead making their path in the croud. There's some kind of strange spark in his eyes everytime he was with her. But what was that she couldnt say.

It was one of the much awaited day for both of them in a special way. She was happy but somewhere scared, it wasn't easy until today it was just herself who watched her dance but today everyone will b watching her. He was happy too but scared not for himself but for her what if something goes wrong but no nothing can go wrong he tried shrugging all bad negative thought especially when he's around she will give her best.

They were finally backstage, just few seconds left. As the previous performance ended and curtains were down, geet and all others took their positions while maan sat on his place such that he partially faced the audience and partially her.

They smiled towards each other with hope, confidence n faith that they everything will go fine. Maan settled himself on the with his table whereas geet standed in the middle with her back towards audience.

*Curtains raised*
Maan started with the slow beats geet did tatkaar(footwork) initially, with a loud beat she just turned around finally facing them all, she got scared having so many faces ahead just took her confidence in a jiffy. She looked towards him n with closing his eyes he assured her everything will go fine just trust him. He started playing tabla with sheer enthusiasm, listening to such beats she couldn't control her feets and hands which automatically started to move according to beats. With every beat her hands gestures, facial expressions, foot steps all went perfect. She danced to her hearts content, and even his , he enjoyed thoroughly more than anyone, it was a pleasure to see her dance but to see her dance on his beats. At the end he repeated the same beats n she kept rotating with her hands stretched and with one beat he ended it and she stopped in mid way facing audience with closed eyes, one hand in air and the other bended a little towards ground.

As the curtain fell and the atmosphere filled with the roaring of applause and claps, geet softened her posture and tried calming down her raged heartbeats as the aftermath..

Maan saw her breathing heavily trying to regain her lost breath and rushed to her side to cogratulate her of the marvelous performance.
"Geet, u fine??" maan said once near her and held her hand softly as a token of care..Geet looked at his eyes for sometime which held such warmth and admiration that even his sudden hold on her hand felt pious to her. Strange yet true, instead of feeling scared she felt secured. She softly blinked her eyes at him "dont worry maan i'm fine"

Maan had to hurriedly leave her hand as everyone almost pounced on them to praise and congratulate for the awsomn act. Maan was called by one of the teachers for some urgent work thus he had to rush to do that, while others were instructed to vacant the stage and move to their green rooms.

While leaving maan glanced at her side as they all were leaving stage one by one and saw that just taking a step she stumbled and had it not been pari who held her on time she would have fallen. Probably the normal pain in her leg was now stretched to numbness due to constant strain which would take some time to subside. Yet she perfectly hid the discomfort behind her smile as all looked at her with concern. The temptation to go hold and help her himself was strong but maan kept it aside as he was to complete the task urgently.

The green room was filled with hootings and screams of joy as maan reached there, all were buzy celebrating as their dance was the most appreciated one among each act. He saw geet sitting on one of the bench with a satisfactory smile adorning her lips and a twinkle in her eyes watching all happy. He approached her and tapped her shoulder softly from behind startling her from the suddep tap.

"Ohh maan! its you! you scared me" geet sighed in relief. "Yeah! its me btw sorry for scaring, didnt intend to" "its ok maan" geet said sweetly. "Waise, tum kaha gayab ho gaye the performance k baad? didnt see u around since then?" geet asked curiousely "ohh woh! arre nothing, those good for nothing 12th'ies werent able to operate the projector in Bonnerjee sir's absence, so had to go check that" he replied casually shaking his head, coolly sliding beside geet on the bench "Arre geet, wo sab chodo, first tell me k leg me abb pain toh nahi hai na?? I just saw u limping after the performance." he asked with worry, "Nopes maan, abb utna pain nahi, cure hone mei thoda toh time lagega na, toh thoda sa pain hai, but wo bhi time k saath lessen ho jayega. And wo performance k baad toh aweyi foot numb ho gaya tha thats why had problem in walking, but abhi its better than before" geet replied softly blinking her eyes in an assuring way.

"Ohh, thats great! the injection did its work pretty well i guess" maan joked but geet's face suddenly became pale at it "uss injection ka toh naam hi mat lo." she said with a frown and her hand automatically went to carress her upper arm "kyo?" maan asked with a curious face "That hurts very badly" geet complained in a low voice pouting her lips, just as a small baby. Maan was stunned at it "What!!" he asked unable to believe what he heard "Dont tell me you're scared of those injections?" He asked flabbergasted to which she nodded with same facial expression "I mean those small injections frighten you? those 'injections'?" he asked emphasizing on the word 'injections' "yess, i AM scared of them. And for ur kind of information they're nt just some plain casual 'injections' but very bad, scary 'INJECTIONS'.." geet said making her eyes big-big trying to show the difference between his 'injection' and her 'INJECTION' by her facial reactions. "Issiliye you were on the verge of crying as that nurse injected you the pain killer?" "Ha toh? Cry na karu toh kya you expect me to smile happily or probably laugh at that dreadful poke?" she asked accusingly "Nahi nahi, ohk calm down I accept that those 'INJECTIONS' are bad" maan said with a chuckle "Not just bad, very bad" she continued "Dekho, it still pains" she said still carressing her arm "Arre dont worry, abhi theek ho jaega thodi der mei" Maan said as if pacifying a small baby.

"Hey Maan!" chirped Pari as she neared them along with Pinky "Hii pari" "Ooh! Maan did u hear? Humara performance best tha out of all the acts." said Pari jumping, trying to control her excietment "Woww! Thats great yaar" Maan said amused "I know" saying Pari and Pinky sat on one of the benches near Maneet.

"Tujhe kya huya? Itni tension mei kyu hai?" geet asked Pinky with a frown who sat there restless, as both Maan and Pari got busy with their talks "Geett. Yaar mera pet(stomach) bhookh se phat jaega agar meine abhi kuch khaya nahi" Pinky said tensed holding her tummy which was continuousely making wierd sounds due to hunger "Kyaa?" Geet said shocked "Aise kya dekh rahi hai, dekh mei mazaak nahi kar rahi. Agar bhookh ke karan mei mar war gayi na toh phir dete rehna aise reactions" she warned while Pari and Geet rolled their eyes at her nautanki and Maan sat confused. "Oye meri Jaan! Tension not! Hum tujhe aise thodi marne denge" Pari said keeping her arm around Pinky in a flirty manner winking at Maaneet "Acchaa chalo ek kaam karte hai, neeche chalte hai, waha se hum kuch kha bhi lenge aur baaki ke programs bhi enjoy kar lenge. What say?" Geet suggested "Ha! Yeh badiya rahega. Chalo khana khane chale" Pinky beamed at it "Oww abhi toh Yash aur Ammy ke bhi act ka time hai. Wo bhi enjoy karenge" maan winked devilishly while Geet, Pari and Pinky were confused as to what enjoyement he meant by.

Within the next 5 minutes all 4 sat there among the audience in the first few rows enjoying Yash and Ammy's group dance on the song 'Gangnam Style'. They both did the dance with full energy imitating the steps as in the song, and both looked no less than two monkeys hopping here and there. Since both were at the front most positions, Maan's loud roars and whistles were easily audible to them.

Maan along with Pari and Pinky was buzy hooting and whistling loudly almost making poor Geet deaf with their loudness. "Oyye Geet tu kyu aise chup chap baithi hai? Chillane ka kya tax lagta hai?" Pari shouted admist the thumping music so she was audible to Geet "Shut Up!" Geet shouted back in irritation, she was already pretty annoyed with their Masti and was almost sandwitched between the 4, with Maan beside her on her left and Pinky on her right with Pari after Pinky.

As the performance came to end finally the assault too came to an end, and Geet ears got some rest. Her flaring nose red in irritation and she was all time muttering curses for the 4. Maan nudged her with his elbow slightly "Geet" "Kya hai?" she snapped scaring him a bit "Yaar, aise bhi kya mooh phula k baithi ho, you should enjoy yourslef na... Humari tarah" Maan said after a while winking at Pari and Pinky naughtily "Oww Geet you look too cute in anger yaar" Pari said pulling her cheeks while side hugging her at which Geet huffed loudly and turned her head away from them crossing her arms on her chest "Hai na Maan" she heard Pari asking him and she glanced for a second with the corner of her eyes at him and that's it! "Yeah" He said chuckling at her.

It took a hell lot of them time for them to pacify her but eventually succeeded in doing so. Ammy and Yash too met up with them pretty excieted to know their reviews about the dance but all they got were teasing answers from them. Irritated with all the leg pulling Armaan and Yash pouted looking at them "Huh! hate you all. Bas ek Geet hai tum sabse acchi, baaki tum sab toh gande ho" Armaan accused and Yash nodded agreeing at which Geet pulled out her tongue at the 3.
After some more masti finally Geet got a call from her driver, to recieve which she had to go away from all noises.

"Oh Teri! yaar hum appni masti me toh bhool hi gaye ki humare parents bhi yahi kahi bheed mei humara wait kar rahe honge" Armaan said looking out to spot his parents admist the croud of audience "Yeah yaar, jaldi jaa Ammy tere parents appne laal ka chehra dekhne ko taras rahe honge" Maan mocked, making all chuckle at him. Armaan glared at him sharply "Wo toh hai hi, but sirf mere hi nahi hum sab ke parents appne appne respective laal'o ka wait kar rahe honge. So i guess we all should get going now on mission 'spot our parents'" saying he rushed along with Yash after bidding all bye.

Maan too recieved a call from his parents so he too had to rush to them. He left dissapointed not being able to bid a proper bye to Geet. May be this was the last time of their togetherness or was it just the start????
