I am not sure if you guys have come across few rumors about Puner Vivah being shut down.

But my request is not to panic and wait for the formal annoucement from the Production house.

But the thing I did not like about this article is that they are trying to put the gun on Gurmeet's shoulder and shoot. They have started to make Gurmeet a scape Goat for this reason and that is totally wrong.

We have known Gurmeet for a long time and he would never ever do that. He is the most humble... most reliable... most loyal and above all most dedicated person. He never runs away from his responsibilities and he loves his work

He stayed up to the last day of Geet when the show was closing down. Even when he went for the shoot of Punjabi movie he did the bank of episodes before leaving and came back to give more bank of episodes.. He even shoot from home and gave them the head shots even when he was sick. So no one can put any blame on him in the department of dedication..

The show may stay or may go off the air we have no clue but to blame the hard working actors for that is nothing but the dirty politics. It is always the channel's policy to take the show off the air if the TRPs are low as the TRP factor is always the most driven factor for any show.

IMH There is also another reason that there is nothing left in the story after the birth of the Yash and Aarti's baby. They should have shut down the show with the puner vivah of SP and Radha. The immoral thinking of Ishita has killed the story. No body wants to see her running after the married man who is also her brother in law.

So please stop blaming Gurmeet. You have no right to taint the name of such a great actor for your stupid politics. Gurmeet has worked soo hard to come up to this level and reach at the top so please stop putting the blame on him as we know that is totally untrue..

I have a request to each and every person who love the show and who love Gurmeet and Kratika and the PV cast that do not pay heed to this kind of rumor of actor's involvement and unauthentic news. Be sure that These are all dirty politics and the actors are getting ensnared by it.

I agree with you apart from the Ishita part. But I respect your opinion.

The show has to end one day. I want the show to end when the mittals think its time to end. If that's in two mths then I wish all the actors and PH the best.

We should be happy that Gurrmet took up this project because he was thinking of taking a break and then going in movies :)

after a long time got to read your take Eva! Nice post! I agree, after their baby's birth, unless they come up with a strong story, its done and Ishita is killing the show...

Yes Mittals can decide when to end the show but I would not want either Zeetv or Production house to blame Gurmeet as I personally know it is not true.

Gurmeet had never any tiff with the production house or the channel and that is why I am very upset the way the news has come out.

I think Gurmeet did a wonderful job as Yash and no one could have done better job than him.

Loved the character depth of the character very much so many layer in the character and Gurmeet enacted each one beautifully..

It's baseless to blame Gurmeet if Punar Vivah is indeed ending. If Gurmeet was the problem the PH would have replaced him instead of ending the show. Many production houses have replaced lead actors before, such as Giaa Manek from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Pratyusha Banerjee from Balika Vadhu. If the show is ending, then that means TRPs are low or the production does not know how to continue the story.

Whatever may be the reason, I do hope the show continues at least for another year, but if it ends then it's the PH's decision. Gurmeet is not at fault.

I totally agree with u and this is what i too posted in gc profile that why is everyone blaming gurmeet I really want the Mittals to come and clear the air Im least bother abt the show ending but blaming Gurmeet for this bothers me bec as we know Gurmeet shoot for PV even when he got injured in jdj Gurmeet shot for PV even when he had fever Gurmeet shot for PV when the all production house felt that he would not turn for shooting after getting burn on his fingers while performing for Aee rishtey award when Gurmeet did shooting during all his injeries and sickness than there was no article or rumors flaying in air like this after he started doing svs that is just for 3weeks this is just to malign gurmeet fame and popularity and I believe this is the work of some industrie ppl only who cannot stand GC achievement and success and again in svs he his coming out with colouring marks and compliments from judge is undigestable by many industries ppl Actually I heard that its Ramayana ending in june anyways seeing the on going track after g3 dead i found that yash character is sidelined and seeing yesterday epsd Iwas abt to write this on GC profile that henceforth i cannot see any major script for yash character and felt that it is going to be aarti ishita aksah sp radha more and yash role less so i felt and wanted to cooment that it would be better if gc left the show bec here too like his PREVIOUS SHOW GHSP AFTER A YEAR THERE WAS NOTHING FOR MAAN CAHARACTER SAME I FELT HERE TODAY THAT THERE IS NOTHING MORE FOR YASH CHARACTER SO DURING GHSP I HAD COOMENTED GC TO LEAVE THE SHOW I HAD THE SAME OPINION HERE TOO BUT I JUST WANT THE MITTALS TO CLEAR THE AIR REGARDING PV AND NOT TO BLAME GC FOR MITTALS FALSE FOR NOT DOING JUSTICES TO PV STORY BEC I ALWAYS FOUND MITTALS AT WRONG REGARDING THE TRACKS AND TOWARDS THE CHARACTER OF YASH THEY JUST USED GC POPULARITY TO GIVE SUCCESS TO PV BUT NEVER EVER USED GC TALENT IT WAS GC U PUT HIS LIFE IN SMALL OF THE SMALLEST DIALOGUE WHETHER ITS WAS JUST A WORD OR JUST EXPRESSION AND NO DIAGLOUE

The news has been out about it going off air..

I have loved Puner Vivah and Gurmeet and Kratika and all the other supporting starts..

I will always watch it till it is on air but have the problem when people start to circulate the untruthful news of Gurmeet's tiff with the production house and blame him for few reasons..

This show is running on the hard work and popularity of the actors not because of the channel and or the production house.

They had good story and hard working cast and crew and the show did good now they do not have the story so how much burden an actor can take. His or her loyal fans will watch the show but that is not going to keep them to raise the trp as they are going to flip the channels with disinteresting story line...
