Gosh, I can't..! I just can't see Shiv in tears…The man who used to hate his wife so much; who used to torture her so much; who wanted to throw her out of his life is now shedding tears for her..He is in so much pain…Gosh, he deeply loves Gauri..He loves her so much that it hurts…
He claims that he doesn't love her and wouldn't be able to tell her that but who's he kidding?! He's lying to himself…! His guilt is taking over his feelings for Gauri---so much so that he's trying to ignore what he feels for her. He doesn't want to believe that what he feels for her is love..He thinks that what he has done to her is unforgivable and he doesn't deserve her love…Nor could he fall in love with her..
And yet, he is so concerned about her happiness that he even takes extra care of giving her little joys, like buying her a sari she loved at the shopping mall..
He can't bear to see tears in her eyes nor would he spare anyone who brings tears to her eyes….When Gauri called him and he heard her cry so much over the phone, he immediately turned around his car to go to her…The look on his face showed how much he cares for her…
He admitted it himself to Gauri that initially, he wanted to break their marriage for his happiness but now, he wants to break it for her happiness…He's hurt to let her go but for the sake of her happiness, he's willing to endure the pain…
When Gauri confessed her love to him, he was in shock..He didn't know what to say…Then she hugged him, he hesitated but he hugged her back…And deep inside, he wished never to let her go..He wanted to hold her in his arms forever and protect her…He had a look of both fear and pain in his eyes…Pain of having lied to her and of having kept the truth from her…Fear of her reaction after the truth comes out..Pain of hurting her..Fear of letting her in for he might be the cause of her pain..
He feels so guilty for being part of the plan to marry Gauri…He blames himself for it.. He didn't devise the plan but was forced to be a part of it..But still, he feels responsible and guilty for it..This just shows what a good person he is and how much Gauri's happiness and well being means to him..
Hmm… I think that Shiv would tell Gauri the truth. He said it himself, that he can't let anyone take advantage of her anymore. He would protect her and fight for her. He would expect Gauri to hate him after learning the truth. He would expect her to leave him but she wouldn't…She would still want to be with him for she loves him immensely…He may even try to make her hate him but no matter what he does, her love for him would continue to grow for she has seen right through him..She has seen how good a person he is…Indeed, both are made for each other and are extremely fortunate to each other's love..
I just loved the confession scene..It was beautifully executed..I knew it was coming but I didn't expect it this soon..I was, I must admit, shocked when it came out..Pallavi and Iqbal were just brilliant in last night's episode..I actually cried watching the confession scene and the last scene, where Shiv completely broke down..And again, I'd repeat--no one else but Iqbal could do justice to Shiv's role..
