Megasthenes: Hey Ishwar! Antiochus aur samrat Chandragupta ki pehli bhet? Vo bhi aese? Phir kya hua?

The stranger: Vahi jiska hona tai tha. Aur jo Alex ne bhaap liya tha. . . Shaanti ka ant ho chukka tha.. Ab to toofaan ki baari thi.

FLASHBACK'

Antiochus: Dekh ke nai chal sakte? Tuccha bhartiya!

CGM: Kya kaha tumne?

Alex estimated that there is gonna be a very nice heated conversation!

Alex: [in mind] Ab to ho gaya kalyaaan!!!!

Antiochus: Vahi jo tumne suna. Tumhari hi bhasha me tumse baat ki. Agar tab bhi samajh na aya ho to ise apna durbhagya samajhna. Hunhh!

CGM: Durbhagya to hai.. ye dekh ke ki sanskaar aur dharm ke itte bade desh me tum jese uddand baalak aese khule ghum rahe hain.

Antiochus: Tum ho kaun? Bharat ke Samrat! Parantu ye GreeCe hai. Yahan apni dhwani apne tak hi rakho to behtar hoga. Aur main aesa prateet karna pasand karunga ki main tumhe janta nai.

CGM: Vahi behtar hoga tumhare aur tumhare Greece ke liye shreeman Antiochus.

Antiochus: [with attitude] Kshama karna.. Kya main tumhe jaanta hun?

CGM: Haah! Nahi. Kyunki tumhari mujhe jaanne ki bisaat tak nahi.

Alex [interrupting]: Thik hai both ho gya Antiochus. Ab chalo yahaan se.

Though Antiochus wanted to give a nice response to the fiery slap he just received from CGM, but couldn't. How could he? He knew that he just can't. So he went away with heavy angry loaded steps.

Alex: main apne bhai ki uddandta ke liye aapse kshama maangna chahunga.

CGM: Tum Seleucus ke putra ho? Mujhe nahin pata tha ki Samrat Seleucus ka ek aur putra hai. Naam kya hai tumhara?

Before Alex could answer, he was interrupted by Shashank.

Shanky: Are bandhu tum yahan ho.. tumhe kab se dhoondh raha tha.

Observing the new company, Alex simply went silently away from there.

CGM: mujhe kyun dhoondh rahe the? aur prasthaan ki saari taiyaariyaan ho gayi na?

Shanky: Haan ho to gayi hain. Bas aaj ki ye sham nikal jaae. Aur mitra dil se chahta hun ki ye yavan phir se bartan na tode. Kaanon ki sunne ki shakti pehle se hi samapt ho chuki hai inki kripa se. Upar se tumhari vo Dakshita ! Kuch karti bhi nahin. Na jaane kab se mana raha hun use. Par thik se baat tak nai karti. Itta bura bhi nahin hun bandhu! 😉

CGM: hahhaha.. use tang karna band karo. Aur tumhe koi aur mahatvapurna soochna deni thi?

Shanky [in serious tone]: haan mitra. Mujhe lagta hai tumhe ek baar acharya se baat karni chaiye.

CGM: kis Vishay par? Aur tumhara tatparya kya hai?

Shanky: Amatya ki patni! Vo milne aayi thi Acharya ke paas. Unhe dekhte hi Acharya ke haav bhaav badal gaye. Aesa prateet ho rha tha maano Acharya unhe pehle se jaante ho. Pata nahi kyun mitra parantu bada ajeeb sa drishya tha vo. Isiliye keh raha. Tumhe Acharya se is Vishay me baat karni chahiye..

CGM: thik hai. Agar tum kehte ho to avashya.. Parantu abhi sahi mauka nai. Bharat jaate samay raaste me avashya iske baare me baat krunga. Wese kya naam tha Amatya ki biwi ka?

Shanky: Suvasini.

CGM: Suvasini? Pata nahi kyun? Naam suna hua lagta hai.. parantu yaad nahi aa raha. Thik h main dekhta hun kya kiya jaa sakta hai is Vishay me. Tab tak tum' [pointing towards Dakshita who was standing at some distance near Chankaya] jaao aur apni daal galao. [gives an evil smile n winks]

Shanky: tumse accha mitra is duniya me nahi. [grins and leaves after which Cornelia arrives in the hall]

The entry of Cornelia drew everyone's attention including CGM. She was looking the epitome of beauty. For CGM it was the first time when he saw the perfect mixture of Helen , Princess Cornelia and the new Queen of India. She was stunned at her beauty and moreover on the fact that Cornelia still didn't remove the crimson tilak. Inspite of being a Greek princess, she was carrying that holy tilak proudly on her forehead, thus instigating in everyone the new experience of this Indo-Greek fusion. Cornelia's eyes rested upon those of CGM. She was still in a big dilemma. Was CGM the way her head n father were telling her or the way her heart has been imagining him? Soon she came to CGM.

Cornelia: Samrat?

CGM: Mujhe usi naam se bulae jis naam se bulati aayi hain. Humein koi apatti nahin.. 😊

Cornelia: Sandro.. main agar aapse kuch maangu to kya aap mujhe vo denge?

CGM: Agar samarthya hua to avashya.

Cornelia: Nahin. Humein vachan dijiye.

CGM: Thik hai. Vachan diya. Maango kya maangna hai?

Cornelia: Hum Greek se sada ke lye prasthaan krne se pehle Olympus sheher me ho rahe khelo ko dekhna chahte hain. Ye khel humare jeevan ka ek ahem bhaag rahe hain. Humaraman tha ki hum in khelon me bhaag lein aur le bhi lete parantu humara vivaah ho gya.. aur niyamanusaar vivahita striyaan in khelon me bhaaag nahi le sakti. To hum chahte the ki humaari jagah aap in khelon me bhaag lein. Aur jeetein bhi.

CGM was dumbstruck at this demand. He wanted to forbid it but couldn't. Chankaya was standing nearby only and he listened the conversation. Observing CGM's dilemma, he intervened.

Chankaya: Aap soch kya rahe hain Samrat? Apna vachan nibhaiye.

CGM: parantu prasthaan ki saari taiyaariyaan ho chuki hain Acharya. Aese antim kshano me kese?

Cornelia: Uski chinta aap na karein. Hum vahan keval ek din rukenge. Jis din aapki pratispradha hogi. Uske turant baad hum vahan se nikal jaenge. Aap maanenge na Samrat?

CGM: Thik hai. Jesa aap kahein.

Chankayadeparted saying: Main taiyaariyaan karvata hun. Tab tak aap maharani se khel ke niyam sikh lijiye.

CGM was confused but he trusted his Acharya so agreed. As far asChankaya was concerned, he knew very well that something was going on in Seleucus' mind and what Cornelia was saying were not her words. Such a sudden exceptional rules for an Indian was a sure shot doubt. To know about the plans, he advised CGMto accept the demands.

Next morning, everything was set for the small journey to the city of Olympus.

Cornelia [to her brothers]: To kyat um dono taiyaar ho pratispradha ke liye?

Antiochus: Helen. Hum dono is pratispradha me bhaag nahi le rahe.

Cornelia: par kyon?

Alex: kyunki humne niyamanusaar vahan prashikshan nahi liya. Bhale hi humein anumati mil jaae parantu tumne hi sikhaya hai niyam humare bhale ke liye hi hote hain jo humein anushasit rakhte hain.

Antiochus: Aur rahi baat hum dono ki to chinta mat karo. Hum dono ne tay kiya hai ki hum ab us Hercules se door hi rahenge.

Cornelia[with tears in her eyes] : garv hai mujhe kit um dono mere bhai ho. Ab mujhe kisi baat ki chinta nahi.

CGM was standing nearby and listening this conversation. He was really impressed how well did Conrelia has handles these two teenagers especially Antiochus who was so rude and hyper. But he was confused about the rules of this game. How come he was allowed so easily to take part in this game. He was about to take part in a horse riding race. So he preferred to concentrate on his competition first. Afterall it was the matter of India's pride and honour in front of those Greek men.

CGM [stepping forward] : Acche sesambhal leti hain aap bacchon ko.

Cornelia: Oh. Sandro aap? Kshama kijiyega humein pata nahi tha aap yahan hain.

CGM: koi baat nai. Parantu ek baat ka khed humein abhi bhi hai.

Cornelia: Kon si baat ka?

CGM: Aap humein abhi tak usi naam se bulati hain. Kyun?

Cornelia: Aapko agar yaad ho to humne kaha tha jis din aap par purna roop se vishwaas krne lagenge us din aapko aapke asli naam se sambodhit krenge. [was going to sit in her horse wagon, when CGM observes that beautiful small boz in her grand wagon]

CGM: Bura na mane to puch sakta hun us dibbe me kya hai? Jise aapne itna sambhaal kar rakha hai?

Cornelia: Humari Mana .. mera mtlb maa kehti hain ki ismein humare prashno ka uttar hain.

CGM: Kon se prashna?

Cornelia: Agar prashna aapko bata paate to uttar ki avashyakta nahi hoti Sandrocottos.. [smiles and soon all of them depart to Olympus]

In her wagon, all the way long, her confusion was eating her up from inside. She couldn't decide what is true. She couldn't even had the courage to open that box which had the answer, her heart was asking her again and again..

"Kya humein Sandrocottos se prem ho gaya hai?". . .
