Pooja hugged Arnav out of happiness and then turned back to Khushi and hugged her. She waved to them all, gathered he bag and then left. Once she was gone, Khushi turned to Arnav and Lavanya. She crossed her arms and stood before them.

"What? Why are you looking at me and jiju like that?"

"I'm ashamed of both of you, you know that right?"

"What did we do!?"

"Lavanya, don't act as though you don't know. Both of you were down right horrid when Pooja was talking."

"Babe…"

"No Arnav, I'm not going to listen to anything. You both were so mean! After everything she's been through you have the nerve to have a go at her, or make cheesy comments. How could both of you do that!"

"Khushi how can you believe a word she's said though!"

"Why shouldn't I have believed her?"

"Khushi did you hear what she said to sameer about you and jiju moving here! She said to Sameer that you and jiju moved here so that you could 'f**k each other in peace.' Have you forgotten that? If she meant well, why would it have mattered if you guys were here or if you were there?"

"I don't care what she said La. I trust her now."

"Khushi how can you trust a girl that made your life hell? I'm sorry, you may not remember but I do! I remember how you came in after you thought she slept with jiju. you were in pieces Khushi, she caused you so much pain, yet you're willing to give her another chance?"

"I gave Sia another chance after everything that happened, what's the big deal now?"

"Sia was different Khushi."

"Look just stop now, I don't want to talk about this any more. What's done is done. But I'm still disappointed in both of you."

Khushi turned around and walked to her bedroom and shut the door. Lavanya shook her head and took her phone out.

"Let her calm down, I'm going to call NK to come and take me."

"Alright."

As Lavanya spoke to NK, Arnav looked at the bedroom door that was closed and thought about Khushi. He understood why she didn't like the way they had behaved with Pooja, after all if anyone was selfless and caring, it was Khushi. A little while later, NK came and took Lavanya and Arnav made his way to the bedroom. He knocked on the door, not knowing what to expect.

"Come in."

Arnav opened the door slowly and saw Khushi sitting on the bed in one of her western dresses.

"Khushi, what's going on?"

"I want to go out."

"Huh?"

"Well seeing as your home early and there's nothing else to do, I thought maybe we could go somewhere."

"I have a better idea."

"What?"

"Maybe we should stay here and spend some 'quality time' together."

"But I want to go out."

"Fine, but why the dress?"

"What do you mean?"

"You don't wear that kind of thing any more."

"Well seeing as we're not at home, there's no one to say anything and there's no point wasting these dresses."

"I don't mind you wearing them around the flat."

"But can we go out now?"

"Fine, where do you want to go?"

"Oh can we go to the park?"

"Lets go then!"

2 weeks later…

Pooja's story was now known by everyone living in the Raizada household. Dadi had left the day after because she hadn't come for a long stay any way. Arnav and Khushi remained at their flat because they liked the idea of having their own space and privacy. No one at the Raizada house had objected to this. However from time to time they went back to stay at Shantivan. They had dinner there every evening though because Nani wanted her entire family with her at dinner.

Now the Kashap family were preparing their house for the arrival of the Raizada's and the Bajpai's. The Bajpai's were NK's mom, dad and himself. Khushi was busy running around the house tidying everything away. Garima looked at Khushi who was busy putting books away spoke.

"Khushi, you should be at your in-laws getting ready to come here! Stop all this and go home and get ready child!"

"Aunty, I've told you. For this wedding, I am on the bride's side! I am Lavanya's sister, not NK's Bhabi!"

"but what will they think! You're their daughter in law and you've come back here to be our daughter."

"Aunty, I told you na, nani said that I should come here. And you know nani's words are the law!"

"I know, I know, but it doesn't feel right!"

"Aunty, stop worrying and get ready! They'll be here soon!"

"Ok, ok, but you go and get ready as well! And please check on Lavanya!"

Khushi rushed up the stairs and knocked on Lavanya's door.

"Come in!"

Khushi opened the door slowly and walked in.

"Since when did you have to knock on my door to come in?"

"Since I got married and this room stopped being mine."

"Its still your room as well you know!"

"We'll have this argument later, are you ready?"

"I guess so. How do I look?"

Khushi walked over to Lavanya as though inspecting her. She was wearing a purple anarkali suit and had a simple jewellery set on as well. Khushi then rested her chin on Lavanya's shoulder.

"My poor devar isn't going to know what hit him!"

"Do I really look good?"

"Beautiful La, you're beautiful!"

"Aw thanks! But shouldn't you be at the Raizada house?"

"La, I told you, for this wedding I am on your side of the family."

"But what about jiju?"

"What about him?"

"Well if you do as you had planned, you would be staying here with us until the wedding."

"And…"
"Is jiju going to be ok with that? I mean you guys are always on it, to be staying away from each other?"

"Let me worry about that. Any way, I have to get ready now!"

Half an hour later, Khushi was ready, wearing a turquoise sari. Khushi got Lavanya to check if her sari was ok and then picked up her phone and called Arnav.

"Hello Khushi."

"Hello future jiju's brother, are you guys ready yet?"

"Future jiju's brother? Khushi I'm your husband speaking!"

"Husband? What husband! I'm not married! I am getting my best friend/sister married here!"

"Oh ha ha, I get what you're doing. Watch what I do to you when I get my hands on you Khushi!"

"Any way, jokes apart, where are you guys?"

"Your devar come jiju is still standing in front of the mirror checking himself out."

"What! Still! He was doing that when I called you an hour ago!"

"I know, he's changed his shirt 4 times in between!"

"Goodness, well hurry up! We're all getting impatient here!"

"Give us 10 minutes and everyone should be dressed and out the door!"

"Yes hurry. And Arnav, I'm missing you."

"I know you are."

"Mr Raizada, you're supposed to say it back you know!"

"But I'm not missing you!"

"Acha? Fine! Then I wont talk to you!"

Khushi disconnected the call and then smiled.

"Where will you go Mr Raizada? I know you're missing me, just as much as I am you."

Fantastic update... Finally pooja is out of their lives... Khushi being her selfless self but laa had a point though! Ohh my gosh! Laavanya n nk afe gettong married :O fonally :D khushi is pbviously frn laa's side but refuses to acknowledge arnie as her hubby!lmao! Arnav refuses to admit that he missed her but our stubborn khushi will make him accept
