Zee Cafe is all set to lure the audiences with yet another season of Gossip Girl. Gossip Girl is an American teen drama television series based on the book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. For those who have been following this show, might have been disappointed as season 5 was over last night. But there is good news for the audience. The last 5 seasons have been well received by the audience, and hence Zee Cafe is all set to air season 6. So let's find out more about this show.

"Gossip Girl" series revolves around the lives of privileged young adults on Manhattan's Upper East Side in New York City. Well, some of you might relate it to "Sex and the City" show. The first season's main focus was Serena's sudden return to the Upper East Side following her mysterious disappearance. Serena van der Woodsen played by Blake Lively, is often described as the 'it girl'. Soon it is revealed that she has had a scandalous past that continues to haunt her, and is known for her many on-again, off-again relationships.

This show has a series of interesting characters such as Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Ed Westwick, Kelly Rutherford, Matthew Settle, Jessica Szohr, Kaylee DeFer and not to forget the narrator of the show Kristen Bell (as Gossip Girl)

For those who might have missed season 5, here is a small recap. Season 5 begins in Los Angeles when a re-energized Chuck and Nate decided to pay Serena a visit. Chuckhas a new-found philosophy and says "yes" to everything, even death defying stunts. Serena continues to work on the movie set, and is offered a full-time job at the end of the episode. And at the end of the season, Blair makes a choice between Dan and Chuck, and Lily makes a choice between Rufus and Bart.

To make things more interesting, Serena is seen leaving town while Dan decides to write a new book about the Upper East Side, with the help of Georgina. Well, it is no surprise that this show has also made an impact on the fashion world, with multiple clothing lines and other products.

Did you know that this show has received numerous award nominations, winning 18 Teen Choice Awards? Well, the final season will be consisting of 10 episodes.
