Okay, so after such a long wait, I was dying to see a new episode of Supernatural and have to say that the wait was so totally worth it!!

What an intense episode from the beginning to the end. So many things to talk about!

I knew the moment the episode started that it was gonna be a good one... The way Naomi was forcing Cas to practice killing Dean... even she knows that that's the hardest thing that Cas would ever have to do. He just can't do that.

Cas goes dark side... well, he was forced to by Naomi, but in the end, he chose Dean. He chose family. Isn't that what the boys do? They always choose family. So proud of Cas! Loved the way Cas resisted Naomi, ""I won't hurt Dean" and what Dean said, "Cas... it's me. We're family. We need you. I need you."

"You know I can hear you both. I am a celestial being." Dean's expression after Cas says that is pure awesomeness!! 😆

I love the brothers!! So so much. Dean wanted Sam to stay behind to protect him and Sam wanted to go in with him to protect his big brother. Can't tell you how much I love the way they are always ready to protect each other.

And Meg... *Sigh* Meg's a demon and I'm mourning her death... never thought that would happen. Supernatural writers are playing with my mind!!! Meg is one of the only demons that I actually like... (Well, maybe two... I kinda like Crowley too... not like like but he's just so clever for a villain.. you know what I mean 😳) "Do I look like Google to you?"😆 Oh Meg, she's gone now... You know I actually liked the little scene of Cas and Meg... Did I feel something a little more than infatuation there? Meg called Cas her unicorn.. Was she in love with him? At least really really liked her! Awww... a demon and a fallen angel... that storyline had potential.. oh well...

So the boys are true to each other now. Dean knows that the trial has hurt Sam in "ways that even Cas can't heal." And Sam promised to be honest about his condition from now on. I'm glad they're on the same page now. I was so dreading Dean finding out the truth and flipping out again. Did I mention I love the boys to death?! I'm just hoping that this doesn't foreshadow something ominous... like Sam's death... I mean yes, he has died before and probably will at the end of this season and be brought back next season. I mean dead dead.. like never coming back dead 😭

Dean had some killer lines as usual 😆

"So somebody's killing demons. Well, that is awesome. I feel like we should send a card or flowers."

"Well, he puts the ass in Cas, huh."🤣

And Cas going who knows where... He has to protect the tablet from Naomi and the brothers.. I understand his logic. If the boys want to close Hell, they'd more than happy to do the same with Heaven especially how much of a pain in the butt most of the angels have been. Let's see where the story goes from here but it was one h*ll of an episode!

"You realize you kinda just quoted Lord of the Rings."

What do I say? You mostly always say everything and episodes these days are leaving me happy and content and sometimes, being just 'happy' says it all. I had almost lost hopes of Supernatural getting back to being the mainstream awesome but I am glad they came on the track! I loved the whole episode and there couldn't possibly be anything I didn't like except for one thing : Meg's death. I have never been a fan of hers, you can't be a fan of demons on principles, you see. But I was beginning to get her since season 7. She's mostly been on Team Winchester past two season and hasn't exactly been the A grade evil. So, I somewhere wished Dean and Sam at least once attempted to save her from Crowley. The out of the box heart to heart of a hunter and a demon was unexpected but felt good. Especially when she says, 'Go save your brother and my unicorn'. I am no Shipper of Megstiel ( I cracked up when Dean referred to them as meg-stiel 🤣) but I could where they were coming from. Cass, oh Cass! I always knew he wouldn't ever give up on them and killing Dean was out of question even if he's done it a thousand times in practice. No matter how many Dean's Naomi creates, she cannot ever create the real Dean Winchester. So I was all for Team Free Will. <3 Although, the term 'team free will' reminds me of Bobby so much. :( Can we have him back, please? 😳 And goes without saying, its a pleasure reading your reviews. 😃

*sob*sob* First let me cry my heart out for meg...Goshhh never thought I would feel bad for a demon..but then its Supernatural *sigh*

First few seconds gave me panic attacks and i went ' what the hell is going on'!!!

But then i saw Naomi forcing him to practice killing Dean...but at the end, when it actually mattered, he choose Dean..he choose family. and then i went THAT's MY BOY!!!😳

there were same amazing lines in this episode, well as usual😆😆

But the last part...well it was great great..it showed the very reason i love this show <3

and yeah..You realize you kinda just quoted Lord of the Rings." WAS epic🤣

This EPISODE is THE episode for me in terms of team free will...Brotherly love...

Great review!
The episode was awesome but sorry, my only reaction after watching it was...
...Meg!!!! And Megstiel!!! And then lying down in fetal position and cry my heart out.

Yes I like Meg, the Rachel Miner version, and I have shipped Megstiel since ring of fire incident.

No more pizzaman...or any chance of moving around furniture. Damn you Supernatural!!! *bawls like crazy*

@Husna - Agree with everything you said. I hate Meg to begin with, of course, but as you mentioned, last couple of season, I actually understand her better and she has been on the boys' side mostly. I didn't want her to do. Especially because she's the only one, besides the brothers, who's been there since Season 1. You can't exactly call me a Megstiel shipper but I do like them... a lot 😳 As for getting Bobby back, YES!! Please!

@Priya - I'm glad I'm not the only one! I felt awful about Meg's death... never knew I'd feel this bad for a demon's death but I did. I still do. Wish she had survived. BTW, I LOVE your vid sig, definitely one of my most favorite scenes of the brothers!

@L - Yes, Go Team Free Will! I felt awful for Dean when he said the part about not being able to take any more lies. Heartbreaking... Can only imagine how hard it is for him to see his Sammy suffer like that.

@Rahmona - Aww I know what you mean. I haven't exactly been a Megstiel shipper but I so wanted them to happen after watching the 'moving furniture around' scene this episode. They had so much potential! Obviously, Cas has a crush on her and she called him her unicorn..awww... 😭 yeah, I cried too.

this was an epic episode... more so coz it had the retrn of my fav character... castiel... i agree with mahi... it was gonna be a good epi right from the start... coz i was shocked to see cass killing dean and then see the lifeless bodies of a thousand deans.. 😲

it was a fantastic episode right from the word go... all the scenes, dialogues of even meg were awesome.. 👏 the story was awesome... the search for the crypts followed by cass's struggle with naomi

these were some of the dialogues i loved...

Dean - "Listen, I may not be able to carry the burden that comes along with these trials, but I can carry you."
Sam - "You... realize you kind of just quoted Lord of the Rings, right?"
Dean - "Come on, man, but it's the Rudy hobbit. Rudy hobbit always gets a pass. Shut up."
Crowley - "I'm here for the stone with the funny scribbles on it."
Sam - "That's not gonna happen."
Crowley - "Love it when you get all tough. Touches me right where my bathing suit goes."

Meg - "Hold on, there's one part I don't understand. You hit a dog and stopped. Why?"
Sam - "That whole story, and that's your takeaway?"
Meg - "Oh, I heard the rest. You fell in love with a unicorn. It was beautiful, then sad, then sadder. I laughed, I cried, I puked in my mouth a little."

and what can i say about this scene...
