I love this show. Two women teaming up against monster father-in-law. Juicy dark family secrets which will take 200 episodes to come out. Abhaas Mehta😆

But let's admit it...both Meera and Nandini are very fragile characters. As of now I'm not impressed with any of them😆 I'm not impressed with any of the women in the house to be honest, except for Beeji and Shyama. 😆

The problem with the women is they're too divided to unite against Balraj's reign of terror. Take the Nupur-Deepika scene for example. Nupur is just too weird. Two days ago she was screaming at Meera that 'If being independent means being like you, then I don't wanna be independent'. And now she's pleading with her boss. Kehna aasan, karna mushkil😆

Nupur in a way signifies all those girls who want to escape the bonds of a conservative household but are narrow-minded in their own way. Though she wants a job and freedom, not once did she try to understand Meera's point of view. And even if she was justified in hating Meera for her pyaari Nandini bhabhi, what was the need to join the other women in their screeching match? Being 'Ms. Modern and Educated' couldn't you stop your chachi when she was screaming 'kulta kulta' at the top of her voice?

Deepika instead of helping her sister wants to gossip on her. Beeji is supportive, but she is afraid of Balraj in her own way.

And Nandini. That girl is a real enigma. She starts crying at the drop of a hat! She also frequently experiences suicidal urges. But, she's still alive. Which means that even though she's fragile and dumb-looking on the outside, she does have an inner source of strength and cunning which she hides from everyone. Even though her devotion to Ani is annoying, the way she confronts Balraj over 'her' house-the girl has a secret spunk hidden inside her!

In contrast, though Meera was spunky on the outside, now she's so dumb! She keeps doing whatever Balraj asks her to do. Not once did she say 'I'm sorry but this man betrayed me, and I don't want to garland him'. She just keeps wandering around the house with those big, sad haunted eyes.

Both Meera and Nandini seem to have lost a sense of purpose in life with Ani's death. It's like their world revolved around him! And now family, friends, job nothing matters! At least Nandini is still in touch with her father. Meera seems to have forgotten her mother exists and vice versa! If I got pregnant with a married man's child and then stayed on at his house, there's no way my mother would not know about it, whether she lives in London or Antarctica😆

Basically, the women in the household have to develop a lot to challenge Balraj. I thought Meera would be the spark of change that would unite them all, but she's acting so stupid, I'm pretty sure she's got some ulterior motive hidden up her sleeve. Why else would you turn yourself into a puppet for a bunch of people who were insulting you a few days back and are the family of the man who betrayed you?

Eager to know what you all think!😳 please comment😆

I just hope Meera sense Balraj is no depressed man and learns abt his hidden agenda to keep her. If not the reason then atleast abt his cunning tactics and chauvinism. Meera wake up and smell the damn coffee..next epi 😡 . i dont want her to be manipulated and be a dumb puppet for Balraj to misuse

The ray of hope was Agasthya's dialogue tonight.. Meera cant be manipulated for long. Hope its never long and she shows her bold strong self as soon as next epi 😎

IndigoBlues girl, where have you been hiding ?! You hit the nail on the coffin with your linguistic prowess, brilliant !!! ⭐️👏⭐️👏
Will comment later as too much happening in this serial in such a short time and me going out to savor and relish the sun coz it's pretty uncommon here in the US to find such beaauuutiful days, esp the part I live in.
And ablazedmelody, from the new mindblowing promo that refreshed posted, me hoping that Meera DOES overhear Beeji threatening balraj. So your wish and everyone's wish will come true before the week is over as moi commented on her thread !! 😃😎

Nandini can be very whiny and annoying, I agree.
Meera acts smart but is even dumber than nandini is.
Both are the stereotypical women whose worlds revolve around their husbands / love
I would not stay in the house for a second more if I were nandini
I would not keep the baby if I were meera although its not the baby's fault but why torture myself with the baby of a man who betrayed me
Nandini's whining has been more tolerable now
Because they don't drag it for 20 minutes
I fast forward when she has a scene where she is crying and crying
Meera 's scenes are also skipped now especially when she is thinking to herself
Why be so concerned if you have no self respect
The only likeable character is agasthya
He is not too weak nor is he strong enough

Precisely. You have hit the nail on the head, topic maker, bravo 👏

Meera's character is very inconsistent. Was she not the one who was trying to convinve Nandini that Ani had cheated both of them? What is she garlanding his picture for now? Where has her self respect gone? More importantly, have her brains taken off with her self respect? How can she not see that her bowing down to Balraj is affecting Nandini, the woman she took such pains not to hurt before. This character is exasperating.

Although Nandini is still caught up in Ani, believing him to be an angel, crying without a moment's notice, screaming and going on a rampage of knocking down vases, she seems to be carefully guarding another side of her life and personality. I would love to see a female lead with cunning and self respect. She maintains contact with her father, knows that the house is hers, and in her own tricky little way, does not want Balraj to get the house. There is more to this character than meets the eye.

Yes...maybe she's just waiting for that 'one last straw'...but for now her behaviour is like a 'bheegi billi'..😆

Exactly!! Agasthya is what you'd call...fishy😆 I really can't figure his agenda out...he obviously cares for Meera, so maybe in the future he will either grow a backbone for her or she will play with his feelings😆 Or maybe he'll turn into a double agent for Balraj!😲 He is what you'd call a pakka 'grey' character...not on anybody's side😆

Thank you😳

I totally agree with you about the Nandini thing!!! Given how the emotional outbursts she keeps having, she should have destroyed herself by now, but she has some game plan hidden up her sleeve to ensure her survival😆

It's Meera who is really keeping me in suspense...the way she blindly accepts what Balraj tells her to do...it's really really making me suspicious😆

Nandini already know about Balraj. she lost her own house to him. surely she will able to sense what will be his next plan by allowing Meera in the house.

Next move of Balraj will be chasing Nandini out of the house to occupy it for his own house. for that he is trying to emotionally torture Nandini.

Any girl will bounce back to save her own belongings. Nandini is gaining that strength and seeking her father's support.

Meera not known about Barlaj fall to his tricky words of love on Ani's child. Meera needs time to learn about Balraj's real face.

Balraj will keep N and M at a distance from each other. allowing them to share their pain and comes to understanding that ani really cheated them will put Balraj in dangerous situation. two women join hands to fight against Barlaj. that will mark the end of his dreams.

every member of the family is not happy about Balraj's rules and regulation inside the house. but they are not ready to raise voice against him fearing they will be chased out of the house.

seeing Agastya all the time talking with Balraj in the same pace of his chachu's tricks, there is possibility for him to bounce back at Balraj later.

biji knowing all the truth about Balraj is not helping anyone. she is quiet infront of other like a sweet girl. she never misses a chance to corner him when he is alone. she surely has the key to lock Balraj.
