Episode 246 Discussion: 15th April 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 246 Discussion - EOD summary

The CVs clarification to viewers about Sultan, RK and Madhu to answer Viewer Questions and bias, Drama of Captivity continues with friendly & family involvement and Captor and Captive engaged in entertaining fights

Events of the Episode

Padmini and Trishna return from Shirdi. Find the house locked. Trishna calls Madhu. Madhu is sleeping and is waking upto the buzz on her phone. She realizes she is sleeping besides RK albeit with all pillows in between them. She moves to pick up the phone and finds herself chained with RK in a hand cuff. As RK wakes up with the tug, she asks him to unchain her. He doesn't. She goes to pick up the phone anyways and tries to answer, RK snatches the phone. Notes that it is Trishna's and cuts the call.
As Madhu is arguing it out with RK to release her and RK keeps flirting with her, Padmini calls Bittuji and asks where Madhu is. Bittuji without disclosing much informs her that Madhu is doing well and with RK. Padmini asks why and how and Bittuji asks her to stay put without worry (though his face is all concerned). Here RK and Madhu's tussle is heightened where Madhu asks him sharply to unchain her. RK says he will release on one condition and it is for her to tell why she allowed Sultan to color her and why she colored him. Madhu refuses to honour his question and RK threatens her that he will open his shirt if she doesn't tell him. Madhu gives him the true reasons and yet RK instead of releasing her chains her to bed. He goes to take a shower and comes back.
Meanwhile Padmini has called Radhaji in panic. Radhaji apologizes to her, Padmini asks why? and confused, she asks her to have her daughter speak to her. Radhaji takes the phone to Madhu and RK's room, where the two are fighting with full gutso. He had released her after she taunted him about he tied up her like animal. And RK's new demand is to give him his formal clothes to wear. [The Guy wants to live all the life they had in one day itself...as if there is no tomorrow :) ] Radhaji hands the phone to Madhu, and Madhu hearing her mother's high temper and Trishna asking her mother to calm down, decides to not tell Padmini the real reason of her stay at RK's place and instead gives the reason of shooting taking place in RK's house and that entire cast and crew is at RK Mansion. Padmini asks her to be careful and not take any shit from RK.
As RK teases her about her lying to Padmini, Madhu defends herself that she did it not cause distress to her mother. Finally after further pally, RK approaches her, leaves all his jokes and asks her seriously that he needs one more chance. And when Madhu asks what for, he says, he wants her heart. Madhu tells him that she doesn't have heart anymore as it is crushed by him. Episode Ends
In their conversation RK also mouths dialogues like, "This is our story, This is Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and not a story of Sadakchaap" He also informs, he that he doesn't care if he is being slapped with violence, Craziness and Man-handling. That he may be a Right Kameena, but he is certainly not a King Cobra full of poison. And Madhu also mouths dialogues about RK's insecurities, doubts on her character and that he is nothing but a fool not to believe her. All this seems the writers have made RK state his position against Forum groups calling him atrocious and Madhu stating Madhubala fans concerns regarding RK's behaviour. Sort of both Madhu and RK are neutralized by the CVs, with RK mouthing not caring about what kind of abuser he is being perceived as and Madhu mouthing dialogues showing that she is not an helpless woman as being perceived by Madhu Support groups and calls RK as he appears to her and refuses to be his psychiatrist or capsule to understand his behaviour. Basically the Cvs are asking people to shut down analysis and just enjoy the two characters battling with each other.

That's for those who were calling him all that & worse..

This has to be the first show where the writers actually talk to the viewers like this, and answer our questions, doubts, etc.

Bittooji what a way to calm down someone.. He tells Padminiji that Madhu is with Chief and expects that to her calm down. Radhaji is just as brilliant. "Yeh sab jaise hua uska mujhe afsoos hai.." And that is not going to make anyone worried!! Hadn't Bittooji told her that Padmini knows nothing?

Tum meri ho, meri trophy, meri private property, meri jungli billi .. meow! While the beginning of the sentence had me getting steadily more irritated the end was just . The way he said meow was just hilarious.

Madhu tells RK the truth under duress. RK now knows the reason for Madhu abandoning him, and coloring Sultan first. Though how much that convinced him remains to be seen. He does not bother to ask Madhu how she was able to recognize the gundas first place or for that matter the reason for Sultan being in danger. When will he find out about Sultan's status as a gangster? When Sultan waves his gun in front of him, and points it at him most likely.

Madhu lies to Padmini about her reason for being in RK mansion. Why? Because she is worried about Padmini's health. For how long will she be able to keep the fact hidden? Maybe, once RK feels something like shame he'll let her go..

The stalemate continues .. RK is still trying to set things back to normal while Madhu keeps reminding him it isn't and won't ever be back to the way they were. The whole episode was nothing more than a constant pull from RK to get a reaction and Madhu's efforts to not give one. Like RK said -- her body isn't listening to her heart, and her heart isn't listening to her body. The same applies to RK too.. Again a somewhat calmer version of RK today, though why even thought of the handcuffs when last night he was ok is beyond me .. maybe thought from the very offset of doing this to get some answers.

Guilty, RK? Happy to hear the truth? Hurts doesn't it? To hear what you have done? You went over Madhu's heart with a road roller, before burning it and cutting it up into tiny pieces. The precap however shows RK attempting to tell madhu that the heart is still there .. after all hadn't Madhu said that her heart is damaged but still in working condition? All that is needed is for the damage to be undone .. maybe a pacemaker will do the trick..

All RK wants is once chance .. will Madhu take that leap of faith? Does she have it in her?

Also, am I actually supposed to believe that RK left the door to his room open, allowing anyone at all to enter as when they see fit even when Madhu and he are in bed?

P.S.: Ananya and Anastasia -- still stuck at 3 buttons.

Padmini n trishna returned...i was amazed...goin by the recent ways i thot they will disappear for few days! but that makes one thing clear that, madhu will have to go back home..

the good thing abt handcuffs---it was tied to him not to furniture...intentions r quite clear...he din want her to leave especially not when he is asleep..😉

common, had it been old rishbala in dis situation den everybody wud hav found it cute!! then why not now...from rk's POV he is trying to make it normal...so i dont think its OTT...its wat he does anyway!

(if u still find it OTT den u dont know RK do u?)

Satyanash ! what a sadist episode 😡 not worth writing a review...aaj toh everyone must be happy, he admitted he's manhandling Madhu, so on and so forth !

the epi. was BAD in terms of audio mixing as well...at many points, i felt this is not VD's voice.later on, DD's voice was also subdued..

Peter and Repeater (Radha and Bittuji) were off the mark..do they have a role to play? they are mere spectators, Radha ke mann mein ladoo phoot rahe hai n here she's calming Padmini "jo hua ache se nahi hua..etc "🤣 feel bad for Padmini..Madhu should go back to chawl soon

Hello MAS...

I'm back. but I protest ...the handcuffs did not entertain, did not add any value to the drama. I just had a sick feeling in my stomach 🤢. Christian Grey, anyone??...though come to think of it..his story ended quite happily as a successful love story.

For me, the positives were overshadowed today with the bad taste the handcuffs left behind.

Some positives:

Ek mauka, he tells her, he wants one more chance, he actually condescends to ask her for it, rather than demanding it.
His expression while she tells him, she has no dil...he looks upset and ashamed, at what he did, and at being reminded of what he did😡
We have a mole leading to RS...😊. Most of the dialogues answered questions raised in this very forum. 😆

Negatives:

Handcuffs...what is the need to disgust the viewers and then show an intimate pre-cap, just so we watch tomorrow. Why don't they have the guts to show Sultan and Aryan in the precap?? Just asking...😆
Again, bedroom doors not locked. And this time, Radhaji almost walks in on them in bed...not that anything khaas was happening, but still. (At this rate, nothing khaas will ever happen😆 between these two, Angeena: 3 buttons it is forever😉). WHy can't people knock??
Padmini ...if I was her, and I had an inkling something was amiss with my daughter, I would run to RK mansion, and bring the roof down. Trishna seems pretty cool about everything...so weird I tell you.

I think the only worthwhile scene in the epi was RK asking her for a chance and her telling him she doesn't have a heart to give...that was the only GENUINE moment of communication b/w them to some extent and RK looked somewhat ashamed briefly.

The handcuff promo had seemed amusing but the actual epi just took a turn not needed...

I get that RK is a bipolar character in many ways too but this transition just seemed weird given the softer tones of Saturday's epi😕

I was not entertained by RK's jungli billi etc. dialogues... liked the one about him being unapologetic about the "manhandling" accusations etc. which was fine...but overall not that amusing.

They could have handled the handcuff scene better...they ended up making it kinda creepy instead.

Today RK clarified many things he is blamed of in forum -

1) This story is his and Madhu's ishq and junoon...and no sadakchap 😆

2) He is zeher se bhara hua but no zeherila king cobra 😆

3) He calls Madhu jungli billi but when Madhu calls herself jaanwar, he says - dont say that it hurts 😆 (again forum accusation 😆)

4) He is Right Kameena and he has heart or not, its still in a doubt 😆

5) And ofcource the EPIC one was where he says he wont leave her no matter whether ppl keep calling him abuser, man-handling etc etc he doesnt care 😆

I have a question - why does Madhu get so scared everytime RK gives dhamki of removing his shirt 😕😆...bechara was just changing 🤣...thats his ace he always uses, shud Madhu do the same? 🤣

PRECAP - dont get mad and hyper, he is only teasing...😆...i m sure kuch nahi karega 😆

such dialogs of RK were extreme like that trophy and property one and RK does things extreme, so *sigh* u have to accept the bad too

I was laughing out loud through RK's sneers and antics. He was in full form today, unrepentant, unyielding, arrogant, full of entitlement, with all his insecurities gloriously on display. A real live superstar.

He's bound her in a physical handcuff, but really, he's the one who is chained to her. He has discovered that he cannot live without her, she has to be at literally arm's length. Forget Madhu's fidelity, he cannot bear it if anyone else is even dreaming of her. He's fallen, hard, but will not acknowledge it.

Added to this, he knows she loves him without any doubt. She will protect him from anyone, anything, even naari shakti morchawaalis out to jail him for any kind of abuse. She shouldn't have handed him this weapon!

It was previously a battle of egos. Now it's open warfare for hearts - he wants her heart, but again, it's actually about his heart - the fight of Rishabh Kundra's heart against his ego has started. May the best fighter win!
